Use the AI aggro logic to your advantage - the enemy more often than not targets the last guy who hit them, so hit with your mages first and the tank characters last so they will be the ones targetted on the enemy's turn. Use also the reload on level-up trick if you want to select the spells your mages get (teleport spell is useful in escaping tight situations).

Might have been slightly exaggerated :D

But I have seen more than once where they'll send out emails talking about how they're working on another build / phase and they'll let their testers know as soon as it is ready... and that next iteration shows up in the app store before anything else is tested.

For example, just looked and I have an email from them dated 4/12 saying that sometime in the next 2 weeks they'd be inviting people for WHQ beta testing... and their Facebook says the first beta didn't go out 4/19... and on 4/24 they talk about how they'll be bringing in more testers over the next week... and the game was actually in the app store on 4/30, which means it was submitted 4/23 or earlier in all likelihood. It couldn't have been in active testing any longer than it took for testers to say, "Yep, it runs".

I just reactivated my ps+ to snag xcom and sr the third. See you in the lounge to discuss that lol. Reading about that beta testing is odd, but I may be a little more forgiving waiting to be able to play my itouch4. Crappy that they went about it that way but oh well. If it never runs stable then ill grab my torch and pitchfork.

"Let's say a guy had already lit his torch, it'd be kinda cool if if he could keep it lit huh?"

It is actually $19 to unlock everything, and no I do not feel it is overpriced. I am eagerly waiting for the opportunity to give them more money. Witch hunter please!

See attached. The game is a faithful and portable solo version of the board game.

I have this game and the App is only a small subset of the role game.

In the board game your warriors can go up to 10 levels, there is a lot more dungeon rooms and objectives, monsters and random stuff.

One of the cool part were the random dungeon event that could kill your whole team or part of it (like chosing the wrong path and being locked inside forever).

Not to say that outside the extensions released later, it came with an advanced rule book thst allowed almost endless possibility by describing the rules to use all stuff from warhammer class. The troll slayer class was btw described in this book.

But Warhammer Quest is so much smaller than XCom in installed size and space needed to install...

When I find some time I will count how many posts have you made talking about the price of WHQ and if it is worth it.
What is wrong with you man?

Game is worth it, and based on Warhammer Quest boardgame. Not sure why this confuses people. On another topic managed to earn 62k in a single run for my level 6. Almost double the 32k required. Character went into level mode "ready to level" but when he arrived in town xp was gone. So for now lvl 6 max, still can't find a decent troll slayer axe!

    Pick up and play?

I've never played the board game, will it still be fun for an outsider, I am a fan of board games in general though!
