Pretty much this. Founded in London in 1978, I think. Started off originally importing the big American tabletop RPGs, like D&D. Then started developing their own stuff due to the increasing import fees (I think); expanded massively through the 1980s, went abroad either late 1980s or early 1990s. Sheer size simply now means that they need offices in other locations around the globe. It's also one of the reasons that most armies and characters in the Warhammer universe/games/media have 'posh' British accents, and why the Orcs/Orks sound kinda Cockney.
Are there anymore free characters past the first four? I have gear I picked up in dungeons and wondering if it was safe to sell (don't plan on any iap). Thanks!
Quantity /= Quality. There's 25+ hours of game here. This isn't angry birds. If you took away the 3 star system from games that seem to be hugely packed with content, you'd be able to finish the games in a few hours. Go back with harder difficulty if you want more. I paid way more for Mark of the Ninja on XBLA, it was shorter but I didn't feel my money was wasted.
But the 3-star system is the whole game. And the hardest difficulty here isn't all that hard, it's just unforgiving. I do think they could do a lot more to increase difficulty.
I would like a little more difficulty, without permanent death. I don't want to play Hardcore cause you put so much time and effort into leveling up and collecting the best gear, I don't want to lose all that and start a character over. A new, harder mode has been discussed, it would be cool if they really made it.
I really like Warhammer Quest, but for the future it would be great to see more variety of dungeon floors. Jungle, dark forrests, buildings...traps and furniture, maybe to climb up and which gives bonis.
i was checking out the game workshop's website for wq the other day and OMG! a single warrior figure costs 20 times the game on IOS!!! and they're not yet painted! WTF? how could you Americans / Europeans afford these?! do you even have toys in your childhood?
oh you can have items of the same type equipped at the same time when the inventory is full. but it's really weird and i haven't checked whether they stack. pity that you can't have a dual wielding warrior
Can't complete skaven quest to kill grey seer. When it vanishes via script the game is out to desktop. Is any warkaround exists? upd. Just waited unitl ambush.
From reading this thread I was under the impression that skills were awarded randomly when you level. However I've started two different hard core games and so far through level 2 everything has been the same. Is this coincidence or am I missing something?
The skills are always the same at level 1. The level 2, that's just a coincidence. I think the type of stats awarded are the same at each level though. Cheers
It's been posted in the first few pages on this thread. Here it is again Warrior Packs Archmage USD 2.99 Trollslayer USD 2.99 Warrior Priest USD 2.99 Region & enemy Packs Skaven Expansion $4.99 Purchasable Gold 4,000 Gold $2.99 18,000 Gold $9.99 60,000 Gold $29.99 The Skaven Expansion is worth the purchase. They extra content and enemies is pretty fun. For the additional warriors, they are not necessary but does add a bit of flavor to your gameplay. I like the Archmage but find the Trollslayer and WP meh. Just stay away from IAP gold. Just stay away and don't waste your money. It's not necessary at all.
