I would say exactly that.... Isn't the game easy enough already? I mean i have to remember the last time i used any healing at all in some dungeons I wouldn't bother trading items in this game at least for now.
Aye, but that's just the end fight. Just use two power reserve items, and otherwise just use the +power items For example, a good setup could be : Robes of the Grey College Staff of Power Chalice of Fate Grey College Hat You get +3 power per turn, and +9-12 reserve for the last boss. Usually enough to get about 24 power available during the last fight, and 10-15 power per round.
I have found the last skaven black quest to be 10 times easier then the last black Ork quest lol And I don't know if you get this every time but I have completed the black skaven quest and have both times received the ring that grants you 3 health at the end of the turn
I bought my Grey Wizard a Longsword (Common) and while I am able to equip it, he can never seem to actually use it during battles. Is this a bug or some oddity with a Longsword? He also has a Staff equipped but both are one-handed weapons so I don't understand why this is happening. He was able to use a dagger and staff pair previously.
Another bow for the item list: Long Bow of Battle, uncommon (Maruader and Wayfarer) 8-10 dmg +1 range attack 1500 GP Got it from the Rescue the Fletcher quest.
That's a good one. I haven't done that one yet. Some of the rescue quests give out pretty decent items. Rescue the Executioner gives you the Executioner's Axe. Rescue somebody Welleborn gives you 1500 gold (good early on). Rescue the thatcher gives you just a little gold. The engineer gives you some fire bombs. I will have to do more of these to see what else pops up. whoda
Laenor - Please add this new Archmage spell that I've just uncovered. Blinding Light (Defensive Cost 10) Attempt to blind he targeted unit and everyone surrounding them. Blinded targets are unable to to anything until the start of your next turn. Cheers
Remove and re-equip it several times. I get this all the time, equipped items with stat boosts don't take effect, or it allows me to equip two of a class of item (weapon or armor) when you're only allowed to have one. I have to keep redoing it til it works. This game is a bug collection like someone said a few pages ago.
Well, after a week WQ gets boring. All dungeons is generally the same, you just walk in and kill everything. There is no exploring, no traps, no surprises, no diversity besides monsters. I really miss times when brillliant hack'n'slash games was released like Icewind Dale.
I decided to purchase the expansion, and my concerns have been realized. The first two story quests I've come across were level 2 and 3, and they're too damn easy with my level 5-6 team. It's a nice change to have new looking dungeons and a few new enemies, so maybe just playing higher level white side quests will make the IAP purchase worthwhile. I came across that hammer of sigmar that I was reading about here, made sure to keep it and gave it to my dwarf. That thing does 65 damage sometimes, holy crap!
does anyone have this extrange bug with the warrior priest, when he gets attack the hits he receive have no sound at all Also is there a limited of how many ambush you can have during a fight? i was ambush 2 times in a fight and i roll another 0 with the winds of magic and nothing happen for me the game still its pretty fun almost like 30h playing but well maybe its just me that i like to collect a lot of loot, but i does need a few more random events snce i think i have seen them all so far
quick question: i got this as a gift so i have all the IAP characters. i've never played it before and haven't played much since i got. i'm using the marauder, dwarf ironbreaker, archmage, and war priest. i get them lined up side by side ready to go thru the next dungeon door, hit End Turn and then they all smash each other?! blood spurts, some text comes up (i think) but it's gone before i can read it. it looks like they all move when this happens so i don't think it's the marauder going berserk. anyone know what this is? thanks me thinks i figured it out: i think it's the chance of damage caused by The Ring of Jade
Bug?? Mage spell: shadow dagger. Attack the targeted adjacent enemy, as well as anyone standing to the target's left or right. Each shadow bolt causes a low number of wounds, proportional to the Wizard's battle level. I'm level 5 and it does 1-2 damage. How is this potportinate to my mages battle level???
