Great Game. But I am really frustrated with missing with my bow all the time. Why is this??? Does it depend on the bow ???
I can't check in game at the moment, but if memory serves me right, it is depending on your ballistic skills vs the enemies ballistic skills. If you are both on par, then it's a 50% chance to hit (i.e. rolls 4,5,6). The higher your ballistic skills, the higher chance you hit. There might be some level difference modifier in there but the game isn't transparent about that. There also isn't a whole lot of gear to improve ranged attack hit% so good luck. It's not so bad once your number of range attacks increased. When you only have 1 shot and it missed, yeah that is annoying.
I would absolutely love it if they released some additional dungeon tiles. Fighting in tsame dungeon over and over is getting old.
I have noticed with the grey wizard that his damage for his spells are not going up with his battle level... Has anyone else noticed this? His offensive spells are really weak I'm level 4 now and still getting the same damage
Not sure if anyone posted it yet, and frankly I am too lazy to check, but I found a way to reroll level ups. Once you're at the level up screen and see something you don't like simply close out of the app in multi tasking then reopen it and you'll be outside of the city with your character unleveled. I did it to get good spells for my wizard guy. Game got boring though after level 6 though sadly.
great work with both lists! I really appreciate your effort. I found one more skill for Trollslayer, missing in your table: Reaction Strike, same skill as in Marauder skill tree.
Been playing for about 2 hours now and I'm enjoying this one a lot. Does anyone know if there is a way to see what your wizards reserves of power are? Do you only get reserves if you've used a specific item? Or is there a random chance of having some reserves? Do reserves only last for that turn? Just being nit-picky, but is anyone else slightly annoyed by the attacking animations? Sometimes they are silky smooth, but sometimes they are a little jerky. It looks out of place for a game that otherwise has terrific polish. Maybe I'm just a stickler for frame rate, I don't know.
Game, certainly not that many bugs in it. It comes across more that you've had your fun with the game and want your money back to spend on something else.
Here is something for the item-list: Staff of Power - Staff - Grey Wizard - +2 Power/+ 1 Toughness - 5.000 Gold
Whoah. Awesome item. I'll add it. (I guess it's a rare item, right ?) Edit.: Both Troll Slayer skill & Staff of Power added to the list
Yes, it is a rare item. I got it as a reward for the quest "War in the Darkness". Pretty nice item. In combination with the "Vestment of Shadow Hood" and the "Robes of the Grey College" my Wizard now gets 4 power every turn.
I think it's Warhammer: Shadow of the Horned Rat. That was definitely a fun game. It looks like the sequel was Warhammer: Dark Omen. I didn't even realize there was a sequel.
Look at the character info boxes which appear in the lower-left corner when a character is selected. Check the three sets of numbers there below the health bar. For warriors it goes ranged attacks remaining, toughness, melee attacks remaining. For wizards I believe the numbers are power reserves, toughness, melee attacks remaining.
Yes. I found this all very confusing, but if you're on the World Map, if instead of selecting a nearby town and clicking Travel, you instead click on the Fast Travel button in the upper-left corner (may only be visible if you've bought the Skaven Expansion) you'll be given an option to switch regions. You can see the fast travel button in the Upper-Left corner in this image right below where it says Stirland and lists my status for Stirland quests. Warning, from what I could tell the Skaven area is a bit harder than the main area. It's hard to say for sure, since the game does scale enemies a bit based on your team's level. But from what I saw, even the basic Skaven enemies will be pretty tough until your team is level 2 (maybe even higher).
Besides what Dejin already said. There are two kinds of power: Power and Power store, which is determined per turn and per dungeon, respectively. Per turn called Power: For Grey Wizard (GW), determined each turn by D6 roll: 1-6 (if 1 is rolled, you get 0 power and an Event happens instead) + (GW Level -1) + bonus from items like Robes of the Grey College (+1), or Vestment of Shadow Hood (+1), etc. where it says Power in the item description per dungeon called Power Store: GW gets D6 per experience level + Power Store from all items carried by the wizard where it says Power store x-x, in the item description, for instance: Shadow Staff 7-10 and so on. Do not have data for Archmage.
