Buy FF Tactics since it's on sale NOW. You can always get this next month (or whenever you have the money). As for playtime, you can probably "finish" Warhammer Quest in around 20+ hours (inc. the expansion). That's really the point where I am now (just bought it last Saturday), where I have excess gold and the trick is really getting the last one or two items to fully optimize my Warriors.
In my opinion this game does not have much replay value. All those dungeons look the same, random events are repetitive. For most events I skip the text because I already know it. I almost finished the game (without expansion), there is just the final dungeon left, and I regret having spent the money. The game is too short. The in-app purchases are heavily overprized IMO. And as for the standard content, I feel like I have been ripped off, paying more than usual for just half a game.
I only have the main game, no expansion, and I'm at 19-20 hours now according to the save file stats. Just got my first warrior to level 6 and going to give the black dungeon a try. I did some side quests, but only enough to level up to the recommended levels for each story quest. You get a lot of playtime for your $5, at least I did.
Well, the biggest problem with spreadseets, is that you can't find them via google, and if I ever choose to close my toucharcade account, or this thread gets deleted, no one will ever be able to know that there was a Spreadsheet available. Hence why I'm thinking about putting everything we've done into a wiki. It'll also help with getting additional details about the game (IE : monster list, monster stats, where to find items and so on)
Anyone with the Hammer of Sigmar can confirm who can use it ? I believe there's an error in the spreadsheet (It says Troll Slayer can use it, I believe it should be Warrior Priest instead : the Troll Slayer can only use two handed axes it seems)
I also believe it's only unlockable with a Warrior Priest purchase (it's listed under one of their abilities on iTunes/marketing copy).
It can only be use by the marauder, ironbreaker and warrior priest And to get that weapon you dont need to purchase any iap i have it before i purchased all the extra content
cool! do put the details about hardcore and tactics under different difficulties in it. i've been dying to find out what veil revival would do in hardcore. would the poisoned to death warrior being revived still suffer from the permanent -1 strength?

Edit.: i'm also missing the description for the plain Great Axe. been moving around, but didn't find one in shops. Let me know if you happen to see one in a shop by giving me it stats (Mostly its damage range and cost )
Goddammit. The only thing I hate more than the game crashing is finding that my party has left the dungeon, forfeiting the hard-earned EXP, loot and being unable to return to that quest. To top it off, when I enter the next dungeon, the accessories that I used in that aborted dungeon are still used up. WTF?
Pathetic. Calling what you get for just three quid "half a game" and feeling ripped off over it is just pathetic. Any devs reading, ignore this utter fool. He doesn't deserve the iOS device that cost him hundreds and hundreds of pounds, if he's then going to whine about getting a great game for it for just three pounds. Pathetic. Did I mention pathetic?
damage 3-7 thees two handed axes are deadly. in the right hands their dual blades can easily cleave through the toughest enemies.
It works for me, but it's only checked once right at the start of a fight (It's rolled just after you see the screen that lists the enemies that are going to appear) Thanks ! Edit.: Do you have its value, too, please ?
is this a game or a bug collection?? Talk about crash city, its incredible this was allowed to release with so many bugs. Already contacted apple about this and applied for a refund.
Hammer of sigmar dropped in random encounter right after i've bought Hidden Threat, so it can be hidden incentive.
He's actually got a point. The tiles and dungeons are quite repetitive. There are quite a few balance issues, too (The critter mobs are way too easy to kill when your party is level 4+ : their stats almost don't change, they just get more HP) The game could also use some additional enemy types Basically, the enemy list is : - Rat - Bat - Spider - Big Spider - Orc - Goblin - Troll - Skaven (if you pay extra) Can't say it's very varied. The UI is also not that great. The game isn't well documented (Where's the complete skill list ? Where is stuff properly explained / documented ?) The game is good, for sure. But it does have issues. While it might not be important to you, others might find this issues to really be a big thorn to their enjoyment.
