I will be contacting them via email to give my opinion about how the skills work. Pointless calling it an RPG when that would be a big part of it if we were able to chose from each warriors selection. Got my Marauder and Waywarcher on level 6 and Grey Wizard and Ironbreaker on 5. Quite happy with them all although the Ironbreaker is the worst out of them, it seems a shame on my wizard also as 3 healing spells and 1 of them is completely redundant because of others. I believe I've been lucky with some skills others are useless or more of a hindrance than a help really which is unfortunate.
Loving the game, but finding it a bit easy. I am playing the harder difficulty, but not hardcore right now. I have the expansion but haven't done any of it yet. Are the Skaven more of a challenge?
Basically the game has a few missions which you get from the towns in the game which are main missions, along with that each time you exit a town your given a choice of your main mission from that town or around 3 randomly generated side missions. Usually to rescue someone, kill someone or complete the dungeon to get the item at the end. After you have completed all of the missions all the randomly generated missions continue to appear for you to complete to get your warriors to the max level and of course get new better gear! The expansion obviously gives more main missions along with the side and a different army to fight against, I use to collect Skaven. So far I've spent 19 hours on the game and I usually don't get stuck into most of the games I purchase and I buy a lot!
i`m wondering if skaven expansion has better lot than the main game. I`m pretty much stuck to the stuff i got and haven`t found anything usefull in a while.
And do they ever miss less at some point?? It seems like 50-70% of my attacks miss. Sorry for all the questions but also, how do I sell those bags you get? They don't show up when I select sell in towns.
If you ask me, the reason you'd replay this game is the same reason you'd replay the original board game. You enjoyed playing it the first time.
Been playing this a bit more, rather disappointed with it, I swear it cheats. I lost count of the times I'm walking down a hallway and get attacked by archers at one end, as I'm killing the last one, more spawn at the opposite end and by the time I get to them, they've picked off 1-2 of my chars :/ Also why can't I leave a dungeon and keep the xp I made there?
Not sure if difficulty = cheating but the amount of times attacks miss is definitely an issue that needs to be resolved.
Level up, equip better weapons and pick your targets more carefully. I believe this is the correct chart:
Appreciate it. What about selling those loot bags? They don't show up when I select sell in a market.
If you're not happy with the skills you get, there is a workaround to it. When you level up your warrior and see the upgrades + new skill, the game does not save automatically. Before you leave the training grounds, restart the app and you should end up just before you entered town, then you can level up your character again and you may get a different skill and stat upgrades. On another note, I see some people complaining about their Grey Wizards. I personally think he's beast, but only if he has the Mindrazor spell (see page 125 for details). It's a hard-hitting ranged attack that normally cannot miss; what more could you ask for? Even if you only get to cast it once per turn without using up power reserves, it's so handy for taking out the most dangerous monster in the room. My wizard has 30+ power reserve and if I save it till the boss room, I'd usually be able to cast it 5 times and easily take out the boss before he could damage my party.
I wonder what equips do you use with him. I do exactly the same with the wizard. But i have 25 power reserve + the wind cast in the round. I have: -chalice of fate(4-6 power reserve) -shadow staff(7-10 power reserve) - vestments of shadow hood (1 power) -robesof the grey ... (. 1 power) EDIT: yeah its that hammer. My precioussss
Is there anyway to work around the bug in the Grey Seer Tail quest. No matter what I do this quest dungeon in uncompleteable for me. I've tried killing only the boss, kill all the enemies, then the boss, clearing the side area first, etc. Nothing is working. I've seen people claiming they beat the game, but I'm wondering how they managed that since this quest seems unfinishable to me.
Same equips, except I use a Grey College Hat (4-6 power reserve). My base reserve is 13, so with the minimum power reserve boosts from equips I get +5 from chalice, +4 from hat and +7 from staff, which sums up to 29 total reserve. Do you happen to remember where you got the hammer? Or is the location irrelevant for loot? EDIT: Nevermind, saw your previous post!
