Why don't I feel like I'm getting anywhere in this game, I've played it a good bit but my characters still feel weak and not good. I guess I wasted 2.99 buying the warrior preist unless he's better than I'm seeing. I think the game is worth the money and all, just taking awhile to get into it.. Only problem I guess is I had a glitch where the Orc troll or whatever crashed the game every time I was about to attack.. Also I don't like how I just randomly loose money when I'm at a town..
People keep saying this, and I understand that not everyone is an RPG vet, but a lot of you must have played Monopoly, right? Sometimes you just get a bad roll that results in a negative effect, that's how board games work, it's all luck. Try to picture it as a physical game and maybe it'll make more sense. Imagine that every time you enter a town you have to roll the dice, and if you get a 6 then you pick a card. Some cards are good and some are bad.
I don't have that IAP yet, but do you mean this? http://forums.toucharcade.com/showpost.php?p=2848640&postcount=920
With the WP, you cast blessings that can affect none to all your warriors. During a turn you have either a chance of strong or weak magic or aura or something like that. So I was wondering if anyone know how much getting strong or weak during a turn influences the blessing
Man, just read in the journal. Everything you need to know is there: "The Warrior Priest can gain strong favour or weak favour, affecting the chance of the blessing being heard or affecting multiple warriors."
Hey I might get one of the IAP characters but none really stick out to me. Does anybody on this thread know of the other characters from the original board game? I'm thinking I'll wait and get one of those because they will likely be added...
Using all IAP characters on my playthrough... But I think I will go back to the Wizard again, the Archmage's 50/50 chance of casting offensive or defensive magic coupled with the random spell points per round is just limiting my options of using him properly.
Thanks for the confirmation that Im making the right decision of going back to my Wizard. Would have loved the Archmage though, if he did not randomly switch between offensive & defensive spells...
So what's bad about it exactly? Offensive gives more damage, defensive takes less damage... is there a downside to that? Maybe it's just a case of learning the play style?
Wizard is so much better than Archmage, thought later will feature much more high damage offensive spells but bummer, nope.He ( wizard ) can also use swords and is much better in melee combat.
How is that everything? What he wants to know is the mechanisms and exactly how it changes the probability.
I think the fact that the Wizard can indeed be something of a battlemage comes across as a bit of a surprise to those who expect him to be the stereotypical weedy bookworm type. You still wouldn't want him leading the charge, of course.
Software development is completely different from game development, the majority of your major hurdles well be asset related. I'm not sure where you get the fixed on asset resolution comes from, it was you who brought it up and I mentioned it was a universal build to which you said there would be multiple resolution assets avaiable, you've done a bit of a 360 with that last comment which I don't quite follow. You were only offered a potential reasoning, if you feel you know better than more power to you.
Nevermind yeah bandages can also work as well just read the description again, but have a chance to fail more often
A lot of consumables are incorrectly classed as accessories. Also some accessories that can be used only once (but are not consumed) do *not* have "Use Once" written on them. Some consumables/accessories take the whole turn to use, but don't say so in the description. This all makes for way too much trial and error in figuring out what's what. I hope they fix all these typos.
When I click additional content... It's just blank.. Can't see any warrior or enemy packs.. Nothing shows up at all
