Having trouble understanding the Training grounds. E.G. it says on a particular warrior of mine that it needs 240xp to train. I assumed that the 1800/2000 below my warrior is his XP so I have more than enough with 1800 to train yet the two boxes under him for training are blank. So how do I train?
The XP figure at the top of the screen is the amount of experience you still need to earn in order to be able to train.
you need to fill the exp bar to 2000/2000 for example you cant level up like you are saying "1800/2000", after you complete the exp bar go to a town and select the hero that have level up it should have a arrow going up with that hero go to the training ground and you should be able to pay the gold to level up
I completed my first quest, close one. Lost two of my warriors. I played on iPod Touch 5 this time, it plays pretty well although the text and menus are pretty tiny. I got better performance than on my iPad 4, I was very surprised with how low the framerate often gets on iPad 4, you notice it during attack animations. Not impressed with that, but it doesn't seem to hurt gameplay considering everything is turn based.
Its wierd that the animation when attacking looks that slow since in a gameplay video in youtube looks fluid Hopefully it can be improve with a update
Well, "dudette", perhaps. Posting all of this information has made me realise just how vague and incomplete the journal is when it comes to a lot of things in this game, though. That's odd; you might want to look at resetting your device, making sure it isn't overloaded with individual apps, and has an ample amount of free space left. I've also been playing the game on a 4th-gen iPad, and it works exactly as you'd hope the most powerful iDevice would: the movement and animation are perfectly smooth and fluid, with no slowdown, jerkiness or low framerates at any point, in heavy combat or otherwise. I'm not sure why you'd be seeing poor performance on a 4th-gen iPad, because I'm not, and you shouldn't be.
It's just a regular one-handed mace. Only my marauder can equip it, then I lost the ability to attack for the whole of the next encounter.
I'm sure you're all over this but did you have a random encounter before hand or was the mace cursed? I've seen cursed gauntlets before
If it was cursed before it doesn't seem to be now... I checked the bottom left for status ailments and looked at the mace's info in the inventory and didn't see anything unusual. Can't remember if I had a random encounter.
Did he get into berserk mode at the start of the turn? Sometimes berserk mode backfires, inflicts damage to every friend and foe around him and concludes all moves.
If the Marauder couldn't move or attack, that'd be the likely culprit. If he could move but not attack at all, that'd be something I haven't seen yet.
Does anyone know about the foodstuffs you can buy in the market? Found some Sausages in Marburg that say "single use, +9 strength", and they're 400 gold. Is this a single turn of +9 strength or a permanent boost? If it's one way then no thanks, if it's the other then oh hell yes!
Yeah dude. You rock I'm currently replaying a few sidequests to get my 7 to at least 2 because even at normal, I'm getting my rear handed to me. I love this game. I could lose all other forms of entertainment and if my wrists were better, all it would take is this and KotOR all the time. Non stop. It's bananas. For some reason I'm not feeling the need to rename my characters... Anyone else feel the same?
Responsive Devs! Hey all, nice info in this thread. Thought I would throw my two cents in. Great game. Really liking it so far. Also, I found a bug on the IAP screen (wrong language), emailed the devs from their site, and they replied within 10 minutes! Talk about responsive developers! I'd like to thank Richard at Rodeo for listening to me and letting me help. Buy this game! We need to support companies like this who bring us good stuff and listen to the players.
