    Love the game!
Just one thing.. Why is EVERY random event bad? Why arent there good random events?
Ive been through 10+ and every singel one has been something bad. Now I just ignore them.

Most are bad, but there are a few good ones. I've had a nice halfling feed (and by extension heal) my party twice now in dungeons. Most of the time, though, they are bad, which is true to the original game.

If you've ever played any GW games you quickly realize this: although everything looks badass and they make for fantastic gaming, there isn't one of their settings I'd want to exist in for even a millisecond because they are uniformly about worlds where war is never ending and life's only utility is to further the endless struggle.

Yes, there are good events, but the vast majority are designed to hurt.

They can be, I've had a few where villagers give me money after stopping and fixing their houses.

I absolutely love how there are narrative pages that describe what's going on as you travel or go through town. It's like living a book.

Okay really last time: what determines whether you block/counter/block then counter? Or is it just random?

It's determined by behind-the-scenes dice rolls. Rodeo Games elected to make the dice rolling invisible.

I knew it! They're watching me aren't they?

Anyway, it is an important aspect of combat to understand, right?

Best laugh I've had all week!

Just started the game last night. Am enjoying it but wish they displayed movement points like they did in Hunters 2 with the little circles.

Read up! Basically it's die rolls though.

Counter is when a rat or bat death leaps you, doesn't happen with anything else.

Does anyone know where we can find out more information about some of the stats and item stats?

    For example:

Pinning - this is on each char, I assume it's related to the chance of getting pinned by an enemy? Dwarf/Marauder are low, Elf is high.

I have a helmet for my wizard which has a Power Store 4-6 stat. Is this explained anywhere? It appears to have a one-time use, but my WOM score doesn't change and it's not clear what it does.

I also found a ring that claims 1 Wounds per turn regeneration, but my dwarf doesn't actually regen health after a turn. Is it bugged?

Finally finished the 3rd level and am absolutely loving this.
If you have liked either hunters then you will like this. It is more than just hunters with a fantasy re-skin. Battles are more intense and up close.

I am playing this on hardcore and every level is a close thing.
Also as for the IAP. Rodeo games have nailed it. I don't mind paying for extra levels and hero characters and wish they had done this type of thing on hunters 2.

As for the gold IAP, this was also in hunters 2 and I have never needed to purchase any. So don't let any of this IAP put you off.

Well done rodeo games, this has to be one of the top IOS games out there.

    Big thanks.

the next time someone from devs or producers will go to the wc, they should wear jeans with f tiny zips like menus in the game on iphone. honestly the game is good, would be better with more stats and showing rolls but the direct porting of ipads menu on iphone sucks i should say.

I was pretty sure this game will eat up all my gaming time for a long while..I even woke up this morning knowing this is the GOTW or rather will get my vote..But then an earth shattering news that came from a galaxy far far away put the world upside-down..

Anyway I still want to congratulate Rodeo games for the brilliant job on making this game..(claps)

Magic users have a limited supply of reserve power they can draw on if the current WoM alone isn't high enough to cast a desired spell. That reserve power doesn't naturally regenerate inside dungeons, so you need to use it wisely.

I have that same ring on my dwarf, but it definitely does work.

Where can you see this store? I couldn't find it anywhere.

    Hmm :(

For those interested, I managed to find the actual rules to the boardgame, which may help to at least explain things in a bit more detail: http://users.telenet.be/WHQ_TheHouse/Docs/WHQ%20-%20Rule%20Book%20v0.01.pdf

Definitely like the game from the little bit I've played however when I put it on pause or lock my screen then unlock it to go back to the game I can't figure out how to get out of the inventory screen. Pardon my noobness if it's an easy answer.
