May I suggest that standing behind a view dry strongly *before* bothering to prove it wrong *yourself* is a waste of energy.
What about the gold taken away from quests? Only one other person mentioned this has no-one else come across it yet?
yes we all consumable iaps but you need to realize that is not going to go away any time soon, i'm pretty sure that counting all users on TA that hate iap we are not even 5% of all the people that like free games and prefer to buy iap instead of paying up front without any iap
You're overreacting and blowing this situation hugely out of proportion. The game includes many events that cause negative effects, including physical damage and the loss of items/gold; it isn't just a collection of mean-spirited events deliberately engineered to whittle down your gold so that you "have" to buy more. The most significant thing here is that your entire complaint is about losing the amount of gold you can make by selling one random weapon found in a level one dungeon at the very beginning of the game.
Lol at this thread being derailed by iap discussion nonsense. Lol at me lolling at the whole thing. Game seems great. Dont need to get iap if u dont want to. What else is there to say? ....thats a rhetorical question so please nobody answer ir respond. More real game impressions would b awesome.
Is there anywhere I can see some photos of the IAP classes? Just curious what they look like. Oh weird, I had initially read that the classes were $3 each but then lately people have been saying they were $5. I just checked the store and they're indeed $3.
Serback events like gold loss are true to the boardgame and Games workshop stuff in general. Progression is balanced with them in mind before the iap opportunistically layeed over. To be brutally honest opportunistic gauging is a defining characteristic of games workshop. This dev is playing it mild vs the bullshit they do with physical copies. Either take an ethical stand about the dubious source and stick to it or stop whining and accept you'll take it for the product... and you already ponied up
Is there any content penalty if you play on Casual rather than Hardcore? That is, will the Hardcore have access to additional levels, higher rewards, unique loots, etc.?
Sorry everyone. I didn't mean to sidetrack onto iap. Didn't know the board game took your gold so its new to me. If that's what he original game did then that's fine.
Good point. One of the things that stopped me getting into Games Workshop's stuff is the fact I wasn't a millionaire.
Can someone quickly inform me whether the extra classes and location are unlockable outside of iap's?
I don't get the tutorial. Do you always die at the end? It just kinda ended abruptly and just tells you that your entire party died. What?
Don't think so. La Amenza Occulta (expansion pack) $5.49 The Region of Reikland 6 new settlements with all new quests
Trying to be cautious, but I gave in and bought it! Having to turn the ipad for inventory sounds lame, I hope they change that but I haven't played yet.
The tutorial is supposed to show you your established adventurers waking up in a dungeon after a failed battle late in their career, which is why they're all overgeared and overpowered at that point. When you come up against the unwinnable troll fight, the game fades to black and then re-opens back in time with weak level one characters and an "Every adventure has a beginning" narration.
