15.13€ for all the IAP. Just grabbed them all :D Can anyone tell me how to equip the weapons to the characters? I can't find the page where you do that (it must be dead simple, but...)

I hadn't got too much into the game on my iPhone. Last night I saw the sale of all the IAP and decided to give it a try on my iPad (too small on the iPhone, as with XCom). It's the best decision gamewise I've made lately. Great, great game. In the end, Rodeo Games got more than 15€ from me by giving me the game for free. Nice and smart commercial move :)

I believe it has been said earlier in this thread that it is possible to find weapons in game that are more powerful than the IAP weapons. So the IAP weapons would be, at best, a way to make the lower level game a little bit easier (but it isn't very hard to begin with). It's more fun and rewarding to find your own legendary gear anyway :)

I guess that it's as I said in the "price drops" thread then: a way to make the first levels easier for newcomers as me. In any case, I got the game for free two weeks ago, so I'm happy buying all the IAP for 15€.

Anyone can please tell whether the warrior priest and the dwarf troll slayer are worth getting?

Did the last update make the warrior priest worthwile?

I'm not sure because I've just started playing this game, but at $0.99 each, I would get everything as I did, to have the whole experience ;)

I dipped out since the very original couple of bonus classes and region...but at $1 a piece had no excuse to grab everything BUT the legendary weapons (hopefully they're not required to defeat the late game baddies). :)

I bought him in the end. You can increase the number of attacks with spells and potions. Moreover, he seems to have some nice abilities that compensate his 1 attack per round.

Actually, I take that back, for a buck it's worth getting all the extra characters.

I am still thinking about getting the IAP weapons as well. They don't look too overpowered in the end and might be helpful for weaker parties.

I just have a question: what happens to iap weapons if the character carrying it dies? Do you lose the weapon you paid for as well?

Once he levels up a bit his area attack is good for bashing mooks.

Why do people not recommend the IAP weapons?

They don't seem too overpowered (looks like there are even better weapons in the game) but they are still good.

The bow seems to suck but I don't know about the others.

It's generally because the primary point of the game is to farm equipment, upgrading as you go. Simply buying weapons takes away from that, and removes some of the challenge from the earlier levels when your equipment isn't always top notch.

Regarding the IAP sale, of course I just bought the two extra lands and two characters for $16 total last week. However, since I only paid 99c for the game, in all $17 isn't too bad for a super high quality game.

Tempted for the weapons, but in principal I don't like IAP that actually helps you in the game.

I have seemingly hit a wall though with gold, it's gotten very hard to level up.

Thanks to Rodeo for the IAP sale, I was able to finally purchase the rest of the content in this game beyond what was given with the base game - All warriors, expansions + enemy packs, and legendary items! I do have one quick question if anyone knows, does the difficulty change anything content wise besides enemy health/damage? For example is there a difference in enemy abilities between Casual, Adventurer, and Hardcore? Or is the only difference that Casual enemies have less health, and put out weaker damage hits, Adventurer enemies have more health/damage, and Hardcore is the same as Adventurer except heroes have permadeath?

I would hate to miss out on extra content or extra missions playing Casual, however I don't have a lot of time to grind out games like I used to in the past so just planning to play again for the experience. I understand people will comment saying, "PLAY HARDCORE, its the only Way!!!" That isn't my question though, just looking to see if there is a difference content wise between difficulties. I remember games back in the day that would cut content short if you played at a lower difficulty.
