Space Hulk is more of a puzzle where you suss out a way to beat the level while hoping that your dice rolls don't screw you. Warhammer Quest is more grindy as you will need to level up your party, then grind for loot to enhance them further. The way through each dungeon is obvious. Just head straight ahead. Depending on your preference, you may prefer one or the other
Ye, it does have iCloud support. I've installed it again a couple of days ago and my old savestate popped up.
Thanks. I reinstalled it and it has my old save game where I already played 12 hours. Wouldn't want to have tot do it all again.
Just received 3 x Draught of Battle [+2 Melee Attacks] as a reward for a quest, but every time I try to use one it crashes the game.
Just completed the game. This time, apparently, for real. Ending was amazing, a fitting conclusion to this amazing ride and main quest. I loved every minute of the over 400 hours I played. My last succeful hard core game clocked at just 80 hours. Now I'm ready for Rodeo Games next...bring it on!!!! Warhammer Quest will always have a special place in my heart. Thanks to the devs, it was an amazing ride....I had great expectations due to the fact that the original boardgame is one of my favorite games ever, and you really exceeded those. Can't wait for you future products...but for now, just thanks.
Rodeo Games has announced they are aware of these bugs and a patch should be released this week. From what I've noticed any ability, potion, scroll, etc. that increases the number of attacks crashes the game.
Ah, thanks--missed that when I was browsing through the thread for similar problems. I tried a few other abilities that increase number of attacks, and indeed they also cause a crash.
New update to fix crashing when using certain spells / potions on yourself, fix language files for new Black Quest and Slayer of Kings sword now does less damage to teammates.
I don't know how much the loot table grows with Hidden Threat, although there are a few items tied to the region. Brutal Tribe, however, offers a massive addition to the loot table, and most of the best high end gear is gained from Brutal Tribe quests.
What team do people run on hardcore. Ran Marauder, Ogre, Shadow Warrior, Iron breaker and was wiped at level two. Tried same but grey wizard instead of Iron Breaker and still had issues. Just wandering for suggestions. I did hardcore once but now need to redo to get max level hardcore death.
Grey wizard is mandatory. Make sure u try to get blade of night for his first few spells when he levels up. Ironbreaker marauder has the best itemization. Warrior priest is a good option now with his latest boost, 3 blessings at lvl 8 I always equip +2 regen rings and buy green scrolls of healing for every character whenever I can afford.
Ironbreaker killing blow crit damage has been updated to double damage. Getting 6x 9x hits with hammer of sigmar.
I run marauder ironbreaker warrior priest and grey wizard. Warrior priest prophecy seems to proc more frequently now around 20-30% chance. Free attacks ftw 3 chances for intervention is very nice Somehow Irongut's counter doesn't proc at the same rate
Are all the IAPs worth it? If you had the chance, which ones would you retain and which ones would you give back?
As far as heroes go, the Witch Hunter is especially fun, with his own set of quite different mechanics (willpower fuels abilities, increases every round, bestows buff when high, debuff when low. Also, stakes and amulets that offer unique items ), and variety between melee and ranged attacks, offensive spells, and even a spell for crowd control and one for utility. The Shadow Warrior is another IAP I'd go for directly, even if he does not come across as quite as innovative as the Witch Hunter. Mobile, flexible, effective and sneaky, and especially consistent thanks to reroll effects, evasion and reactive strikes (counter attacks and surprisal counter). He remains a moody Waywatcher with a penchant for monotone black, though, so if you dislike the Waywatcher's playstyle (or are satisfied with just one limber elf) I don't think he will be individual enough to change your mind. I quite like both the Warrior Priest and the Archmage (the Warrior Priest can bestow some fun effects, such as additional turns, and the Archmage has nice spells for both crowd control, defense and damage, and even some healing), but they are very random by comparison. Avoid if you seek consistent results, purchase for variety and fun. The Trollslayer is just durned brutal and effective. Not very fun, barely does anything but soaks up hurt and deals it out thricefold. Doesn't really differentiate himself enough from the Ironbreaker (and in some ways, the Marauder) to be a worthy purchase by himself. But if you plan to run a second separate party, he is essential muscle to all the flexibility, variety and pure randomness of the other members. A short bit into the Skaven expansion, my sentiment is that the change in scenery and dungeon tiles is not very relevant and loose its impact after just a few runs, but the enemies are different enough to add flavour. But the expansion seems to be just that, a little spice and some different flavour to the gaming experience, not any drastic alterations to the overall feel, nor any new mechanics.
