Personally, I wouldn't give up Blade of Night for Razors, as BoN generally has higher damage potential late game for it's cost. But, you know what other abilities your GW has and what suites you play style.
In the LAIR OF ULRIC how do you keep the "chosen warrior" from taking damage (and losing the quest)? Have been in three times and all three in the 1st room lost because of this. Also my app has a killer bug in which when the vicious river trolls regenerate the app closes. The only way i have been able to get past this is kill the troll the 1st turn. Any suggestions with either of these problems? BTW party is the ogre, shadow warrior, the other elf, bright wizard. All are level 7 except the ogre at 6.
Im at 8/9 quests done and final one isnt showing. Do i need to buy IAP stuff for it or im missing something?
The last quests are in a set location on the map. Before I realised this I was wandering around for ages trying to find the light switch.
Generally the quest many people seem to miss is a town to the far west of the map that looks like its part of the Skaven expansion put is actually still part of the base game.
Lair of Ulric: There are a few fairly easy ways to do this one. First is with a Grey Wizard who has teleport and can stay out of harms way. The other is with one of the archers who tend to have better than normal damage avoidance and can hang back, the Shadow Warrior especially gains abilities to aid in this. The Bright Mage's shield spell is excellent at preventing damage from landing. Finally, the Ogre is good and drawing agro away from whoever you are trying to keep agro off of. Vicious River Trolls: I've seen this bug as well and it seems linked to Burn damage, either off of the Bright Wizards spells or the Shadow Warriors arrows. Try avoiding Burn effects on the trolls and see if it still happens, otherwise I'd suggest emailing Rodeo Games as hopefully they get on fixing some of the bugs that still are hanging around if enough people complain.
Bought the hidden threat expansion, so far adventuring with level 8 shadow warrior, witch Hunter, grey and bright wizard and no sweat at all. Prefer witch Hunter to marauder because WH has melee, range and spells and thus more ways to play him. Sad bit is after finishing half the quests still haven't found better loots than the one I got from the basic pack....
There no roads there. My mage is still 4lv while everyone else is at 6lv. Is it possible that everyone has to be at 6lv for new quest to unlock?
As far as I am aware there is no level requirement to access quests. Be systematic (even though this takes time it does work unless you have a bug of some kind).
That seems to have been my experience as well, although it is likely that your party will be wiped out if underlevelled...

Thanks a lot for the notification, undeadcow, much appreciated! Well, with that field to choose from, my vote goes to WHQ.
It shouldn't be. This map kind of sucks but it's all I could find: http://calmdowntom.com/wp-content/uploads/mzl.aljlblzd.320x480-75.jpg Ignore everything below the river to the south. Do you have all 7 of the towns shown there unlocked?
...and WHQ wins TA forums GOTY Glad and surprised to see this TBS jewel win. Congrats Rodeo Games! I've played 40 hours on one save only and it still feels I could play so much more.
Excellent news and pleasantly surprising. Hopefully Rodeo will hear about it. (I'll try and post to their Facebook page later when I'm done the stuff I have to do this morning)
We did hear about it! Thanks everyone for voting! It really means a lot that you lot love our game so much. Makes all the late nights and early mornings worth it! Things are quite hectic in Rodeoland right now. We've been sorting out what's next and how to do it. Should have some form of announcement over the next few months. Vague, I know. In the meantime, good adventuring and thanks again. - Ben
