My lv1 witch hunter walked into an undead dungeon to hang out with his roommate from grey college. And he walked out in one piece with plenty of xp. "That was easy" he thought to himself The next morning he proposed a picnic for a group of four. The champion of Chaos and high elf professor shrugged "why not?". And that's when everything went wrong. Now the marauder is stuck in a narrow corridor between the wall and a long dinner table. Wielding the ultimate hammer of Sigmar, he can smash the two enemies from ahead and behind without a sweat. But every turn zombies and skeletons would come up to block his way towards the necromancers. "You cant escape a certain death!" he roars, but the nasty bastard and his across the hall just keep summoning more of their pets and throwing foul spells of Nagash at the warrior. Gandalf the grey took a bad hit and while running for his life he got sent to the void which he had used so many times to heal allies. But this time no healing. And vicious evil undead creatures would be waiting for a bite of his flesh outside. My Archmage tries to cast a hand of glory but is pinned down by the vampire lords. Even if he did get the marauder close enough to the master necromancer, there would be the sacrifice of Gandalf. Witch hunter is overwhelmed by the whole room of corpses. He was trained to fight them, but not an army. Will shaken, health low, he could not land even one more swing on the coming undead. "How did all this happen", he wondered as he closed his eyes forever.
Bug or arcane rule I didn't know about?: Playing a hardcore game and had my first full party wipe on hardcore (Vampires are evil ) but 2 members didn't get wiped out when I got back to town. The sequence went like this: Turn 1: 2 party members get downed. Unfortunately, they were the only ones with any healing abilities/items left, DOH! Turn 2: Those 2 party members de-spawn and remaining 2 members go down as well, double DOH!. Turn 3 (start) - get a "You have been defeated message" after the final 2 de-spawn. Go to the return to town "scene" on map, go back to town, and find out that only the first 2 downed members are dead, the second two are alive and well with all their gear.
This happened to me also. Turn 1 - Bright wizard falls. nobody else has any healing items left. Turn 2 - Bright wizard disappears. Shadow Warrior and Witch Hunter both fall. Turn 3 - Shadow Warrior and Witch Hunter disappear. Dwarf Ironbreaker falls. "You have been defeated". When I got back to town, the Dwarf Ironbreaker was alive, all his gear still equipped. I am also unsure if this is by design or a bug.
/shrug. I feel for you if that happened to your game, but I have over 200 hours of play time in and have never had an issue. It's definitely not a wide spread problem as I've see one maybe two posts about it happening in the past on FB and at least one of those got all the data back after contacting Rodeo. Has it happened more than once to you? Maybe it's your system rather than the game?
I don't know about you but I've tried the game on iPhone 4, 4s and 5s. All clear. Could I ask what device you're using? Galaxy III perhaps? Just kidding. Anyway I think the developers are quite dedicated to updating and bug fixing. That's actually one of the reasons why so many stick around and play it over and over. You should try to report the crash. Btw I understand that this is a most discussed game on the forum, if not the most. But what is some one who can't play it and has even given a bad grade to it doing here poking his nose around? No offense really, just so curious.
Ok, I have some questions for you all! Does the Hammer of Sigmar only drop in the vanilla areas? Has Rodeo fixed the issues with the Shadow Warrior's Reaction Strike and Sunfang? It seems like the Hardcore poison issue has been resolved: regeneration removes it, Waywatcher's Herbal Lore removes it, my Grey Wizard can remove it with his abilities, so it seems like it has been fixed. Has anyone else's Witch Hunter not been gaining wounds when he levels? Way too much of a glass cannon for me...
My problem with this game is that everytime i try to play it, i encounter a new bug crashes. Now they fixed lost save, i can't finish my current dungeon because i am fighting a troll and he's making the game crash every time it's his turn. Playing on mini and air. This is the ONLY game i played with so much problems. And i own dozens of them. So sorry but my vote went device 6....
JUST got the Hammer of Sigmar on my new save. It dropped in a white quest, characters all level 5, in the Skaven zone.
I've played this on the mini and air with absolutely zero problems. I've deleted and reinstalled several times and never lost a save. Try closing all apps and restarting your devices.
Judgement Bullets: all ranged and melee attacks have an increased chance to hit for the remainder of the turn. I just got them and haven't tried them out yet. I also saw rare armour that was +4 toughness, +1 movement, +1 ranged attacks, but I think I prefer his blue armour: +2 toughness, 1 wound/turn, +1 melee attacks. I so desperately want to find a rare sabre or pistol for him, I hope they exist.
You can buy a rare sabre and pistol from the towns. They're random drops from monsters too. Best weapon I've come across for him is the legendary silver dagger, which you can also buy in town. I'd really like a legendary pistol, or a better legendary weapon vs undead. The dagger is great and all, but come on... it's a dagger. It doesn't seem right!
I don't know. I kind of like the fact that he is a badass Pilgrim that shoots people with a pistol and stabs them with a dagger.
