I went back to track down what you posted on level up stat increases Nullzone.. seems consistent with my observations as well that there are levels when stat increases are limited to 1-3. I just wished there was a rulebook for all of these published sonewhere - like AD&D for Baldur's Gate for example. Everything was just transparent for everyone to see, read, understand, and plan their characters on.
@Savant: That's been some time ago. Flatters me that you took the time to look it up I never got around to finish that list, let alone the Hardcore playthrough I started to collect data. Speaks volumes that we need to do that ourselves. Like you, I wish there was a manual describing all of these details. Maybe others who play are willing to help out and add to completing the list?
ok your going to hate me but after 25 hours of play and more to come I feel like this game did it wrong with the dlc what i feel like it should have been is like this. for 4.99 you get new expansion land 2 new heros, new tileset new enimies, new loot new lvl cap the dlc should not cost the same as the base game when it offers less.
Dlc is always going to be too expensive from some perspectives. The fact of the matter is you pay based on how much you want the dlc against how much you can afford the dlc. Think of it that way and it keeps things nice and simple.
There is great improvement: at the start of your turn all item effects implied simultaneously to all heroes. The only thing I can ask now is abilit to 10x speed up animations and an armory to keep found artefacts. There are many and inventory is not enought.
Yeahmy save is back after deactivating / activating iCloud. I confirme again the marauder is a beast. Last room : 24 melee attack + 24 range attack. He wiped the room alone.
Anybody else encounter this bug since the update? Game keeps crashing during combat encounters when I use fire arrows (quiver of fire) on stone trolls. Crash occurs when calculating regeneration and burn damage after I end turn. Playing on iPad Air. Seems to calculate the regen, then crashes when it tries to calculate burn damage.
Got a lot of crashes too as soon as trolls are involved (all of them). This is seriously retarded. Most expensive game of the store and the less polished. F2P games are more stable than this shit.
Skraven n brutal tribes pack are worth getting. The IAP weapons are not that good. The IAP characters. I would suggest not buying the irongut. The rest are fine. This new mob and tile IAP is a waste of $ tbh. They could have offered more value for players. That's it for me for warhammer quest 125 hours. If they release a real content pack. I might consider playing it again.
Has anyone found any legendary weapons or armor for the witch hunter yet? So far I've come across some legendary flintlock bullets and a fine silver dagger which I bought in town. In related news I'm really enjoying the new content! I stroll around averland looking for white dungeons populated by the undead and send in my witch hunter party. It's a neat role play opportunity; my witch hunter, warrior priest and grey wizard have hired a wandering shadow warrior to help them hunt down the undead. I excluded my marauder because he's practically dripping with chaos and I don't think he's get along well with the witch hunter. So far they're all lvl 6 and can handle whatever gets thrown them... So far
It doesn't seem like Rodeo stayed too true to the profiles given in the original WHQ roleplay book (the rule book for the campaign version of the board game). A quick google search might locate one. I've attached the battle level table from the rule book for the wizard. As for power points the wizard got an extra 1-6 (D6) per level. However unlike this game, the wizard in the board game could exchange his spells at any town that had a wizard tower. In the skills column you see that at every level the wizard has an extra D6 skill. When the wiz leveled you'd roll a number of dice equal to his level (i.e. 2 --> 3 he'd roll 3 dice). Let's say the newly level 3 wiz rolled the following: 2, 4, 5; he could pick 1 lv 2 spell, 1 lv 4 spell, and one lv 5 spell. Or any combo of the dice (one 6 and one 5, or one lv 11 spell). Spells went up to lv 12. This made a high lv wiz very powerful (until a skaven assassin would ambush magic and kill him). I wish Rodeo would allow for more flexibility with the spell casters here. Being able to pick/exchange spells would be a great way to customize to your play style.
I'm new here so please forgive my newbness. I have an iPhone5 that I am going to start playing Warhammer Quest on. I am getting an iPad Air for Christmas. If I play, download additional content, make purchases, etc. with my iPhone game am I screwed when I get my iPad? Thanks!
As long as you sign in to the app store with the same account on both devices (and there's no reason not to, lol) then you should be able to either "restore purchases" or go to buy it on the second device, and it will pop up a message "you already own this, do you want to download it again for free?"
First of all, welcome to Toucharcade! Hope you enjoy your stay. Sanity goes into the bin on the right, thank you As for your question: I just bumped up from an iPad2 to an iPad Air, and WHQ went absolutely smooth: Backup old device, restore on new device, all there, null sweat. One thing to pay attention to: If you backup via iTunes on PC/Mac, make sure that all apps you want on your new device are already on your computer. I learned that the hard way. I almost never use iTunes, prefer to buy&download directly on the iPad. Ran into some problems, and took me a bit to figure out that "Transfer all purchases from device X" is a good thing to do before you restore your backup to the shiny new thingie.
