Bought the skaven?(opens the 13 quests at the bottom), as well as the bright wiz and warrior priest. Mainly because I was running out of inventory space lol. I wish they would add the ability to store at least another few lines wether its all the time (as it is now) or in town only. Like diablo /lineage2 etc. many games have an inventory and a "stash" to store items that can be accessed only in town. This is becoming a very expensive game lol x.x
@phrenik: The "13 quests at the bottom" are Averland. I recommend doing the second expansion first: forgot the region name; it is to the West, two of the towns should be Altdorf and Nuln. Averland is tough, with dungeons level 6-8, and strong enemies. And yes, a storehouse would be great. With all the new stuff, current inventory space is not enough anymore. As for price: well, I bought everything except the Ogre; and it is definitely worth it for me. Decent price for an excellent quality game. @Rawl: I never warmed up to the Trollslayer, found his damage output too low: low number of attacks, chance to trip and go berserk. Thanks, will pass. The Shadow with the "Martial Prowess" skill and geared up for Melee I found much more to my liking.
With 3 melee, they seemed to get in each other's way more often than not, given that all corridors are 2 squares wide. That and random archer spawns give them fits when they have to move all the way back and forth. Tried it, seems that at any one time, 1 fighter will be sitting at the back useless. Anything I am missing?
That's why I have 2 Mages It works well enough with 3 Melee. Always entering a room with full movement helps a lot. Then you can move your folks in waves, if possible: guy farthest back moves forward and cleans the way for the next character.
Marauder and Grey Wizard is way too op. My Marauder has that skill that gives +range attack based on your melee attacks, and another skill that doubles his current melee attack or something. Toss in a few casts of Blade of the Night from the Grey, and I'm looking at 1 turn clearing objective rooms.
Okay, I think in the original area, poison can be cured. In skaven wxpansion, poison just wiped my party while I was testing theory's dang it. So, to recap i have found that spider pouson does heal but the globe things in skaven expansion will not heal nor Rez if you drop.
I've been wandering around the Skaven zone in my hardcore game and have healed poison multiple times, using heals spells and regen rings. I'll have to pay attention if that poison was off globes or melee. Perhaps the globes are what is bugged.
New update makes the game crash at startup on my 3GS. Won't go past the Warhammer logo screen with loading underneath.
Were you having crashes prior to the update? So far in very limited playtime (maybe an hour) I haven't had an crashes on my 4. I am cautiously optimistic though after the last patch to fix the stability issue.
That sucks. Now I am worried about crashes starting again in my game. Seemed like the last patch worked for the first day, and then I started having constant crashes. I wonder what rodeo put into the last big update (new region, new characters, etc) that made it so glitchy on older systems. I know they don't have the specs of the 5's, but the main game engine that the older phones had no problem with when the game first came out hasn't changed.
Now I am curious about the crashes. I am honestly surprised it runs on a 3GS at all. My best bets: either memory issues due to the additional content; or some changes in relation to iOS7 and preparation for 64bit. Do the crashlogs show anything interesting? SystemConsole (from Appstore) also shows details most of the time.

FYI it isn't mentioned but latest update solved the iPad Air 'slowdown' bug....now the game is smooth as silk even on the new hardware.
That's from SystemConsole judging from the format, right? Unfortunately very generic. "-9" means "kill that process immediately, use force if needed", if I remember it right. If it keeps crashing, check the iOS crashlogs: They are under Settings - General - Diagnostics & Usage - Diagnostics & Usage Data, and sorted alphabetically. If you see lots of "Low Memory" entries, check those as well: the last line of the second block says "largest process". If that is WHQ, it points to a memory issue. You should have an entry "Latest Crash WH Quest" as well, and "WH Quest" at the end of the list. If you sync your iThingie to a computer, these get copied as well; but I cannot remember where they end up exactly. Look for the filenames, they are the same. And if it's too annoying, pack up the crashlogs and send them to Rodeo Games And no, just for the record, I am not a programmer or anything like that but big part of my job is tracing and reproducing bugs, so I know a thing or two.
Finally started on averland. Was leveling up my chars first before venturing, the new items do help against the new mobs. I had a question about an item for the grey wiz I found as a quest reward Spoiler its the shadowmancer hood a rare item for the grey wiz. It gives +1 power and 4-6 power store (ish can't remember exact # ATM). Anywho, I can never seem to use its power store irregardless of where I am in the dungeon, if I'm in battle or to , it's grey'ed out all the time. My staff etc and consumables work just fine. I had a blue hood on my grey that had power store before and that worked as well (I do know these are 1 per dungeon items). Anyone else experience the same thing? Is there. Trick to this? Tia Also to add this item has no flavor text on the back. Not sure if that matters or anything just found it weird. Side note. I'm just running an iPad 2 and nothing really else running in the bg(just settings, and safari) and do see my game crashing more often after the update. Although it may just be random I haven't seen it happen more often during a particular point. After being fully leveled. I decided to try my way watcher again, and like it a tad more than the shadow watcher for its evasion purposes on the harder mobs. Not having alacrity (shoot then move before being pinned) does still erk me a bit though. Having all the various dodge passively and equip makes it feel more like an assassin. I have 5 range attacks 2 melee so I tend to just snipe mobs with that. If your reading this rodeo, a town stash to keep various items you find would be awesome especially if your planning on having us buy more dlc content!! I wouldn't mind a "group prayer" option either. Even if it cost way more and is unnecessary (since you only take 4 units in anyway, a pray for every char is unnecessary). But would save a little time, and later we do get more money to spend without thought. Albeit some of the purist may object if these were not in the original board game. Just throwing out ideas that I thought would have been cool/ save time/make life a little easier
Same here, and it has been mentioned several times on the FB page. They got a few items working last patch, so hopefully it's something fixed in the near future.
Then I am the only douche bag who hasn't seen it removed in my games so far, Was poisoned by a spider. Scrolls, heals n regen all failed. Granted I don't get poisoned often unless I am trying to.
