20 healing mists. Still can't remove poison on hardcore. Anyone managed to remove poison in hardcore?
Hmmm in hardcore mode. Journal says its permanent for hardcore. I might start another save game to test it out. Can't risk losing any character in hardcore. When brutal tribes was released. The map gave a lot of orange items and great weapons. I think They changed it, I can't see relic blade and dragon blade for the quest rewards anymore.
Yes, in hardcore mode in dungeon, I had several effects listed including poison, after ring of jade, poison effect was gone?
Interesting. Could you remove poison with anything else? Or only with the Jade Ring? Might either be a bug, or that autohealing items (Jade or Regen Ring) remove Poison even in Hardcore. I didn't manage to get poisoned yet (tried a few times, though), so I don't know.
I'll monitor and try, I generally run with grey wizard so I will try a few different things and see if/when poisoned
I used the Archmage's mass healing spell and it removed poison, as did the Warrior Priest's ring. I have had a unit that was poisoned and couldn't be healed, but he had lower strength, which I believe is what might sometimes prevent removal and healing.
I can say with certainty regen rings do not remove poison in hardcore. My grey wizard has 2 x regen rings. Doesn't work. Fail fail fail repeatable. Same applies to heal mist and heartbeat
What exactly do you mean by "had lower strength"? E.g. did the unit go down with 0 Wounds already? Which is when the Poison Strength reduction gets permanent in Hardcore, according to the helpfiles. Speedweed: Does any of the two approaches work for you? Or for anyone else on Hardcore.? I am swamped with work, so I cannot test much in the next few days. And just for the record: we are all playing on the latest version, yes?
Yeah, the unit had gone down, still had 2 strength but could not be healed. That was prior to the last patch. So far, playing hardcore I have yet seen a character whose poison effect cannot be removed by healing or regen. Not certain what triggers this issue to take place but I'll keep an eye on it as I play.
Unless the journal is lying. I have been unsuccessful with removing poison with healing spells or scrolls in hardcore. Will try void master if opportunity presents itself. 20 turns with healing mist n 2 x regen rings have failed to remove poison.
I don't know man, I just ran on the skaven exp with my newly grouped 4 due to a a cheating dungeon party wipe, and I can confirm that a gigantic venomous spider poisoned 2 party members and that effect was removed with potion of healing for one and healing must for the other. I assume I have the latest version, all expansions and characters bought. This morning I lost my 2 lvl 7s on the aforementioned wipe so I'm definitely on hardcore
I lost a lvl 8 geared Archmage. Used all 12 scrolls on my other 3 characters. Couldn't heal my downed Archmage. I am curious what is the criteria for removal of poison. It's not really a threat if you are fully geared. I lost my Archmage while leveling the new characters. Btw did anyone see relic blade n dragon blade for dungeon reward since the patch?
Haven't seen them since patch or perhaps they are programmed to be 1 each. N I been farming quest items so it's strange.
Some items are indeed unique. I.e. getting 2 Relic Blades or Sigmar Hammers is not possible. I cannot remember which piece it was; but I held on to it for quite a while, and during that time it never showed up as a reward. After selling it, it came up again every 4 or 5 dungeons.
I think all quest rewards are unique, both blue and epic. This way, if you dont sell quest rewards, you can increase the chance of items you really want to appear as rewards. On another topic, I have started a new hardcore game. My old group is now so decked out it is no longer funny. My hardcore group is marauder with MB, ironbreaker with IAP axe, trollsalyer with the epic axe and grey mage. Nothing, and i mean nothing lives for longer than first round. So, for a challenge i will now try to level a new group to lv 8. Rules are simple: no dwarfs, no marauder, no grey mage. So far i am using the 2 non mage elves, bright and priest, some times the ogre. The arch mage is too weak and unstable. Any thoughts on this project, must have skills etc I have the heal spell on the bright wizard as he needs to heal.
