So no gameplay videos of the brute tribe dlc, or skaven, simple question please answer with a link if you know.
How do these village elders come across such amazing rings? First the lighting fire ring, now this? My heros have abundant gold, can we just have rings as quest rewards?
Maybe nobody answers because they don't know. There are pictures in various reviews though. Gameplay doesn't really change, just locations and monsters.
If you like the game, you'll like the extra content. It provides variety and an increased challenge. So, if you like the starting game, and want more, buy the extra content. Be brave, be the Decider!
I am pretty sure there is no review for the expansions. I think if you enjoy the main game and wanted more regions/dungeons to explore, just buy the expansion pack. You are wasting your valuable time contemplating on how to spend your $5/$10. If you are having doubts about your enjoyment of Warhammer Quest, just hold off on buying it and stop asking for the reviews/ gameplay videos of the expansion pack. They are pretty similar to the main game anyways.
So it seems. I could swear I read one though. (Not just a hey this DLC is coming article) Regardless I'm not sure what keeps Marku from buying it. They add new adventures, new monsters and new loot.
There's really no in-depth reviews as you're paying $5 for an app not $60 for a console game. Nobody is going to waste their time on it. Skaven dlc is unique in that you have different enemies Tribe has more loot and slightly different orks to fight. But as it is a $5 expansion it's (echoing everyone who's already replied) more of the same. If you enjoy endlessly dungeon crawling to get more/better loot to endlessly crawl tougher dungeons then you'll enjoy it. If not then no there is no over arching storyline that is totally fleshed out in the expansions. When I finished the last "story" quest in tribe I wasn't like, "whoo I did. Yeah game beaten!" I was like, "Cool. now let's start again with some new characters and do the exact same thing only just a little different." <wow sounds totally pathetic when I put it like that> But such is the life of a dungeon crawler.
Just got this game recently since I loved Hunters 2 and got hooked pretty much immediately. I'm still using the default 4 person party, but I went through about 9 different Grey Wizards, and finally got one with teleport, voidmaster, razor, and night blade. Only bad thing is that he has a fairly low stored power stat, but I can deal with that.
Ok, here's a review for you: just buy the damned expansions and stop wasting people's time here. Why don't you start asking questions about how to gear your heroes or something? How about this: I've been running with Nimblefinger's sword on my Marauder, and nothing else pleases me the way that setup does. 6 attacks that ignore toughness? Yes please. Is there a better single handed weapon for him? I can't give up the defense that a shield provides imho.
Priest is totally more BA than he seems. I'm running him with prophecy cause I think the draft should have sigmar's hammer! Prophecy has a chance to grant an extra attack when you attack. Kinda cool right? Yeah it works on death blows! So as long as you keep killing things in 1 to 2 kits you have a chance to keep attacking. Also I got the blessing Sigmar's rally at Lv 3 and thought 'lame' totally re-rolling this douch. But I tried it out and it is awesome! Move Fr. Smackdown up 5 spaces lay waste to some suckas oh there's a troll in the back of the room? Chaos warrior "get over here!" <MK> style move marauder up, kill troll. Spiders behind us with webbed wizard and webbed elf in the way? Let me just rally them out of there. Maybe not the best $3 I ever spent but he's well worth it! Quest on brothers!
Prophecy is great, it seems to proc quite often. I also notice it occasionally allows the WP to move again, but I don't know what triggers that part of it's power.
While I played through on adventurer lvl, I was against purchasing legend items in towns... Now on hardcore I have began buying, 3 lvl 5 party wipes in 2 days will make the pope cuss
Anyone else notice that with achievements the Trollslayer level to 8 is 8 points yet everyone else I think is 5 lol Nothing major just slightly odd.
What's up with the dragon blade? Ignores weapon skills of wielder and enemy so is it just random to hit? It doesn't "seem" to hit any more or less than other blades
Base hit chance is 50%, 4+ on a d6 . With more weapon skill than your opponent it goes up, with less it goes down. Check the Journal for exact numbers. So, ignore WS is nice for the Archmage, or when the Shadow does not have the "Unencumbered" skill to offset WS deduction from increased Toughness.
Yeah I have the same thing, sometimes he gets extra moves. I also think WP is underrated as a tank, he often lands more blows than my Marauder with 7 attacks does (why does my Marauder miss so often? He even has the orange ring of sure striking)
