I have some major problems with my wrists, so flipping the iPad is not appealing in the least. It should never be required in a game you are playing for that long. It's just silly. Eh? What device? Did you restart after you installed it? Yeah man. Just buy it. Seriously. You're 21 once, skip the shot at the bar and buy this!! Well I know next to nothing about Warhammer and never even knew tabletop RPGs existed (it's before my time) But I love turn based tactical games like XCom and the Hunter series. If you don't enjoy that type of gameplay, this game probably won't interest you I'm also a huge fan of Dark Souls. Quest isn't an RPG like that, but it seems to have the same sense of "the scary unknown"/not knowing what's around the next corner and the same kind of tension. Where you have to be cautious and play smart or you die. So that also interests me. --- Oh and @andsoitgoes - 1) I may be 21, but I don't drink and 2) I was trying to decide whether to buy or save my $$ for other games. I'm sold now and definitely buying but when I'm trying to make a decision, I tend to ask a shitload of questions. Sorry

Pretty much this. Never played a tabletop RPG, love X-Com, kinda wished Hunters was a little better... they've pulled it off with this game.

It's funny. I literally had zero interest in turn based games until this Feburary. All the awesome stories in the reviews sold me on XCom Enemy Unknown. Now I love turn based tactical games. If it wasn't for that discovery, I wouldn't care about Quest at all. Actually I had tried Hunters 1 last year and hated it. Now I love the Hunters series and am downloading Quest as I post this
If you haven't already played it stop what you're doing, pause Warhammer Quest's download and go get Kingturn. By that I mean, Warhammer Quest will be totally awesome and can't download quick enough here.
You are going to love XCom Enemy Unknown (assuming you haven't played it on consoles or PC yet)! It is an awesome game! Also I can vouch at least for the physical version of this game. Also give Aliens vs Humans a try!
How does the Skaven DLC fit in? Do you have to progress to a certain point before accessing it? The decision to force players to rotate the screen to access the inventory is absolutely horrible. I've been looking forward to this for months, but really debating now because of this.
Why do I have to turn my ipad to portrait mode! I always keep it locked in landscape and cant reach the menus. I don't want to have to lock and unlock my ipad every time I play this. What a nuisance and inconvenience. Just have a touch button for menus like other games. Is there one? Also I find touch controls not always responsive. Is a game breaker. Often have to touch 2 times then 2 times again for the action to complete. so i will touch my guy. select the bandages then tap on my other guy twice but nothing happens so i have to tap twice again then he heals. i found that happening often. Spoils the game. Using ipad 4th generation. No probs other games. Can you recover I battles or heal because just got a 'black screen' saying my party dead. Seemed very amateurish to me. Not even visuals or offer to heal? So far not liking this at all but am open to loving it if these things can be fixed. Very unhappy at the moment.
How much? I deleted all my games that had iCloud support first. All I have left are the games without iCloud...like my 12 hours of Hunters 2 progress
Is it normal for the game to spawn another mob directly on your party when you're in the middle of fighting? I just engaged a team of 5 gobs, and the very next turn a new mob of 5 more gobs directly spawned on me. The results weren't pretty.
