Yes, you can. For some this is a big part of the appeal. I start a new game with new characters by resetting the quests and having a leg up with all the dish I have garnered. That's the nice thing about this game. You can play it how you like and no body will bust your do down to punish you for not playing the 'proper' way.
Does anyone else hope for a mordheim spin off? As it'd work alongside the same model... Still loving this game and I'm a gamer since day one and before that an existing warhammer player( it really does bring a part of the original to life) But one concern of mine is can anyone else clarify that certain skills via levelling overlap each other( since the update I wound up with a troll slayer and marauder both holding the blood rage skill) Not complaining, as it's actually a great skill( ideal survival skill for a damage dealer like them both)
What were those elves called, battle dancers? I vaguely remember reading about them in White Dwarf. Were they the Halequins of WFB?
Pretty much all skills and as far as I know all spells are unique to each character. The Trollslayer seems to be the exception as several of his skills overlap the Marauder and the Ironbreaker.
Ok i don't know if i am the only one but this F***** game went by itself to the main menu during a party and removed my save. So basically i lost everything. First time in my life that i see that. It's just like icloud remove my file by itself. Pissed off. 1* rating for this game. I spent more than 35h to build all my heroes to level 8 with rare objects for nothing. EDIT ok seeing comments on the app store i am not the only one...
Wow, I'm really sorry to hear that. I've had the game shutdown a few times, but so far the worst that has happened is it quits the dungeon I was currently in. Hopefully losing the saves is something Rodeo is on for the upcoming patch as that would be a pretty damn frustrating thing to happen.
I hated that about the chaos sorcerer in WHO. Was totally ridiculous! Also turned me off how all the chaos classes were aligned with tzeench. I can understand the mages to be tzeench salves, but the marauders and chosen a should've been Khorne or nurgle. Oh well, blood under the bridge I guess. In related news: anyone have any news on space hulk? I hear you still play as the Blood Angels, ie; the best astartes chapter.
The entire WHO story was so poorly done, essentially tearing apart the lore that made Warhammer what it is to make a pvp mmo. I'm not surprised it failed. I bought Space Hulk on Steam. It's ok, I'd say not worth $30 for what you get. You play as the Blood Angels and apparently Space Wolves are going to be added as DLC.
It also affects the choice of heroes and abilities. Bringing a low level hero with low weapon skill and toughness into a high level dungeon for experience becomes very risky. Cuz if you fail to hit and kill an adjacent enemy, he may take you down in a surprise. Also I tend to position my casters, especially the healer, in the corner. In a non permanent death game wizards' melee attacks could be fully utilized.
I've restarted two hardcore games from scratch since the brutal tribe expansion. Enjoyed both the story and looting. Yet I hope a "reset all quest and retain all items" button could be added. I'd love to play the game on and on, but many of the rare items are hard to come by. Plus, getting gold for training characters to level up is becoming harder with the level cap and more heroes!
For those who have trouble getting enough gold but don't want to give gold master skill to the iron breaker, the underwriter quest grants a token to let warrior be trained for free. Might consider resetting the quest when at Lv7
You can reset story quests. Each town has a button that resets the story quests linked to that town. Is that not what you are referring to?
It came to PC already? I was under the impression it was iOS exclusive like WHQ. I was pretty excited about it, mainly because of my love of the original.
