I would be surprised if all three were $2.99, pleasantly surprised that is. Just in case I have $14 in credit waiting..
I'd sure think if they said "pack" that means more than 1 hero in the IAP, but I do agree this does seem significantly under their normal pricing scheme, so who knows.
Thanks for the pic, looks great. The interview above (I think) said that each character would cost $3 as before
Sounds good. One of the few strategy RPGs that really worked its way into permanence on my ithings. Unfortunately, despite being on my device since day one of release, it has fallen into my virtual pile of backlogs. Seems the update will give me the push to pick this game up again.
I'm so behind on my games, but I will be insta updating and expanding... Just may not play till the weekend.
I agree. The author of that article has a great style of writing. I was laughing out loud at some of his antics in the dungeons.
I’m pretty stoked for this update to go live. I’ve held off playing at all the last 3 weeks in anticipation of playing a fresh game with all the new content. It’s been hard to resist going back but hopefully it all pays off tonight. It sounds like Rodeo have actually lowered the price of the heroes, including them all in a single $3 bundle. Not that I wouldn’t have bought everything anyways, but now it really seems like a huge value for what little the game and updates cost. Heck, I’ve bought entire consoles with multiple games that I have gotten less enjoyment out of than Warhammer Quest.
Out in Europe but, at least in ITaly....it doesn't download the update (it just spins)...maybe a AppStore glitch here. Maybe it is still propagating. Can't wait for people to play it...what I saw from the beta was awesome and finally there is a real challenge...that makes the game even more awesome. Mostly, I can't wait to see how the story develops...the start is really great.
It's out worldwide now. I purchased all the new characters and the expansion pack. Every character have to be bought individually, so that's cleared up.. One thing I'm not sure I like is the availability of individual weapons as IAP's. Buying them would be akin to cheating, and if the dungeons get as easy as the previous ones if your warriors is fully geared up, it's potentially a very bad idea to buy them. Also, one of the cool things about the game have been the joy of randomly finding a powerful artifact, buying them outright is just not the same. It's not clear if the weapons can be found in the dungeons outside of IAP, but I would guess not. I'm not sure if I have the time to start a new game today myself, but I'll keep an eye on this thread to hear impressions.
Downloading the IAP's took a little time for me too, it keeps spinning for a while, but after a minute or two, confirmation was complete.
