Very true. I bought this game at full price and bought all but the iap legendary gear. The enjoyment and longevity those purchases had was commensurate with the cost and no mistake.
As far as DLC... the Shadow-guy, I forget the exact class, and Red Wizard are must have's, the Witch-Hunter is great, with other appropriate DLC, and the rest can be ignored as most of the other classes either aren't that useful or too similar to a class you already have and the weapons pretty much ruin the game.
I picked up this on the last 1$ discount and got plenty of play out of it, even if it did get repetitive. It's well worth trying. I dont do IAP, but there is plenty of variety even without that.
I agree, worst purchase ever! You only get a glimpse at the IAPs but you don't get to see the whole list
I think what this person means is that he wants a description, which the App Store dosnt have. It just has the name, not what buying the IAP does, what it gives you, etc
Yes but this is free at the moment so why no download and check it out. The IAP is as follows: 2 x $4.99 expansions providing additional enemies and levels - more or less tripling the orignal content, with tougher enemies more quests etc 7x $2.99 additional characters each adding different skills, weapons and abilities. 3x $2.99 undead packs, zombies, vampires, necromancer and skeletons to smash up 5x $.99 legendary weapons - not recommended unless you want overpowered characters. I have the content expansions 2 characters and the 3 undead packs. IAP is totally worth it, to me at least#

That's what I did, I got the game for free and all the IAP's at 0.99 each. In the end, for around $20 I got the full game with all IAP's
Bought at $5, wish hunters would get some additional content i prefered it over warhammer. Both ate great fun
This is a fantastic game and if you have any like for RPG / Strategy RPG / rogue-likes then grab this NOW. The DLC is optional but I'll warn you - it's good stuff and I've spent $25+ on this game with IAP combined.
It's optional if: A) you don't mind areas marked on the map you can't go B) picking up a lot of loot for classes you don't own I bought the game on release and forked out for the decent IAP on sale, I must have enjoyed it but the model still annoys me, have IAP sure but don't make it feel like you've bought an incomplete game.
Yeah it's a bit forced for sure. And it was a turn-off. BUt the game is just so good I had to forgive it.
