Shops not refreshing I bought everything from the capitol shop this morning to test the refresh. I kept checking on it throughout the day and it still says There are no items available to purchase. This is with over an hour of in game time and several hours of real time. I finished multiple quests and even leveled a character, but still refresh not triggered. I will let you know if/when it does refresh.
Achievements I see there are 40 achievements. How do I see them? After completing one half of the map, I have not seen any. There is an achievement button, but nothing happens when I click it. Having fun with the game so far!
Whats the status of next update? Im itching to do another play through and would like to wait next update before starting.
I also asked this 1 week ago because 18 days ago Pete from Perchang was hoping to release an update within 7 days... You are going to have another playthrough but I am still waiting for my first playthrough because I stopped some days after the release and deleted my save file due to all the bugs. I know that the game was improved in the meantime but some equipment still doesnt work properly, there is no way to get rid of unwanted heroes and so on. I am waiting at least until this will be fixed before continuing to play the game.
Okay I found this post from Perchang on twitter: New minor update will hopefully be dropping next week. Biiiig content update scheduled for early Feb.
Early Feb!? # Well at least I guess that means I can uninstall it for now to make room for all the Xmas specials. #
As a fan of the Warhammer universe since my tabletop days back in the 90's, and considering the over use of the license and more than a few botched efforts to create Warhammer universe content by third parties over the years I would have to say 'you can go wrong with Warhammer'. That said, Warhammer Quest 1 was brilliant. I am with others and waiting for more bugs and performance to be ironed out before jumping back in.
Yeah, I'd say good warhammer games are the exception rather than the rule. GW have been giving away their IP for a lot of infinite runners, lane battlers and other awful genres lately.
Well, Warhammer Quest 2 has a rating of 3 stars... I just checked the first 10 pages and there are only 5 other games with the same rating or worse... If a developer announces an expansion people usually go crazy and are happy but there was absolutely no reaction here. I know that a lot websites rated it very good but a lot of users are still waiting for many fixes/changes. I am pretty sure Perchang will fix a lot of stuff before the big update in February and people will be happy but if you say Cant go wrong with Warhammer I have to disagree... Just have a look at the ratings and comments in the app store... I am just allowed to have a look at the reviews of the app store from my country and after the big iOS update I even cant sort them (thank you apple) but they are very mixed... The graphics were a big step forward but regarding the gameplay... Compared with the first Warhammer Quest it is somehow disappointing and I had a lot of faith (I bought the Skaven expansion and all 3 heroes on the very first day) but right now (over a month after the release) I am still not very interested in playing it. I couldnt stop to play the first Warhammer Quest, it was very interesting to improve your heroes. Here you can level up your heroes and there is absolutely no differenece between the classes and the equipment which you can find/buy was full of bugs as the game was released and there are still some bugs. I could go on (compared with the first part of the series there are no ambushes, no journal exists, you cant have a look in detail at the quest rewards or enemy equipment and so on) but I dont want to be too negative. I am pretty sure those of us which are not happy right now will be happy some day after some more improvements. If the newest update hits the app store which finally fixes all equipment and lets us get rid of unwanted characters I will probably continue to play. I can see that this game can become better than its predecessor but its still a long road.
you are totally right, we are almost in 2018 and a premium branded rpg/dungeon crawler like this can't miss all those gameplay things that you have mentioned (i don't f***ing care about outstanding grafix, could be a retro pixel art game as far as i'm concerned, in fact i've enjoyed QuestLord and WQ1 much more than this, to say a couple of names at random)... i've deleted it eons ago, played many hours but it seemed as an unfinished work to me, a very unfinished one... weeks have passed and we are still at the same point, wow...
Dev Update Hello Everyone, I'm very sorry for my recent silence. We've been working on an update to the game (which i submitted to Apple a few minutes ago). We've begun to move on to some game improvements as well as continuing to fix the remaining bugs. This is what the update (v1.101) will contain when it goes live: - Item/Weapon Fixes. Every issue that has been reported has now been fixed. - Crash Fixes. There were some issues related to Deathblow that I've fixed. - Inventory. You can now equip items that are equipped to another warrior. - Side Quests. You can now view the details of side quest rewards by tapping on the icon - Selling warriors. You can now sell excess warriors in taverns. - Feedback button. We've added a feedback button on the save game screen to allow you to send feedback more easily. ... I hope that these changes will improve the game experience for many of you. We're not going to stop here though! We're continuing to work on further improvements and new content. I'll keep you posted Pete.
Dev Update (cont) Sorry, I forgot something! Shops (for Warriors and Items) - we intended that shops should refresh their content every 15 minutes of game time. However, i made a mistake in the code that meant the refresh time was much, much higher (probably more like 15 weeks :-/). However, that should also be fixed when the new update goes live...
Thanks for the update Pete! In particular, getting all items working will be a huge step to having an experience that fits with what I expect you and the team envisioned. Looking forward to hearing about the mechanical and content changes to come in the future. Anything to add more of a feeling of unique progression and difference between characters and classes would go a long way.
Hi @subgenius. Now that troublesome items have been fixed, the classes should feel more different to one another. Each class has around 15 - 20 unique items that only they can use. If people aren't finding these items, then perhaps the rarity is too great, and we'll address it for a future update. With the new content update in Feb, we will be trying to make the new classes even more varied from one another. We'd love to hear ideas from you guys to tell us what you'd like to see in there. As always, thanks for the feedback. We really do appreciate it, and are working our hardest to add improvements to the game. - Ben
Damage Calculation Hello, I started to play this game again after the last update and I have a question regarding the damage calculation. After starting a new save file and finishing a single mission with my wood elf his highest damage in one hit is 56. I am talking about the base character and his base equipment: https://imgur.com/a/PAHfv The best case would be ( 2(strength) + 13(highest weapon damage) ) * 1(there was no resistance) = 15 How is it possible that he dealt 56 damage? Whats the multiplier for critical hits? My impression is that critical hits double the damage if I compare the stats for the other characters but even if critical hits triple the total damage my wood elf shouldnt be able to deal 56 damage.
