Are you talking about the "report a problem" link from the mail send in the DLC purchases? If so, it doesn't work.
It goes to the page where I select my problem, which I do. I write details in the text of under, and it says in the end after validating everything that I have to contact the editor via their website. the end.

Try "Item opens but doesnt function as expected" option. For me it tells to go to apps site and gives itunes support link as option.

It's best to chose Problem not listed. That always get a response from Apple via email. You've a better chance of a refund when talking one on one.

Ive been lucky with this game, only one crash so far. I love it, no refund request from me, that's for sure.

Update did diddly for my 5s/10.3.2 woes. Same thing; crashes after the opening story scroll.

After hours of play, I think I might have run into a corrupted save game.

I started the game and found myself in the middle of the whole map, out in nowhere. When I travel, I travel instantly (no need to press quick travel). If I enter a dungeon and quit back out, it stays the same (doesn’t reset). If I try to continue the main storyline (IE go to the next story city, this being #7 for me) the game starts loading the city and then crashes.

Anyone run into the same kind of issue?

Okay, after my save file was fixed I finished Reikland mission III but I will still wait until going on, maybe I will restart the game.
If I use the archer he does 100–200 damage and it feels like cheating... He is level 2 and just got an additional item slot but he uses his starting equipment. I just bought a cheap skill which is called charged shot and doubles the damage of the next ranged attack. AP 1 as well as cooldown 1.
There is also a bug or description for the skill missing. Sometimes if I use the skill my archer shoots without loosing AP on its own a single time.

The calculation of a lot items isn‘t working properly and I am sure the archer isn‘t supposed to deal that much damage.

Thanks for the response @ perchang and thank you for the priorities:
Fixing crashes is the most important part.
I also suggested to improve the UI (as well as other stuff) and make it easier to buy/equip equipment but on the contrary to other people I think a reanalysis of the equipment calculation/mathematics is in dire need first of all.
Why should the UI be improved to decrease the touches needed to interact with equipment if all the cool weapons and armor aren‘t working properly in the first place.
I am not a fan of the level system as only equipment makes each class unique and if the equipment doesn‘t work at all as reported by some users or aspects of it, I do not have the desire to continue.

Thank you for working on all the fixes and I hope that you will have some time to rest after that :)

    @Roger:
That’s definitely odd. Even with Charged Shot, I couldn’t get a starting Gladeguard even anywhere near the 100-200 damage you report, not even on crits.
My higher level heroes with good equipment score way past 100 regularly on crits, and people reported even way higher numbers. Which, yeah, is total overkill :p
But for a starting hero it sure is highly unusual.

Out of curiosity: does it say that on the “highest damage on single hit” statistic for your archer?

In other news, Freeze is ridiculously powerful.
I got a Chillblade for my Sorceress finally, and can let her wade right into a group, freeze everything in range, then let the melee guys take care of the rest. Just bought Weaponmaster for her, I expect this to be hilarious at 1AP/attack. Now, all she needs is another slot so she can wear some armor; she’s still lvl1 with only 12HP, so *very* squishy ;)

Well, the update did NOT fix this. When I load the save, the same thing happens. Party starts out in a city, but when I exit the city my location marker is in the middle of the map. Will try to finish a dungeon and see if that works..

[BUG] BK Armor of Templehof STR bonus doesn’t work every turn

Just found a bug with the Bloodknight’s Armor of Templehof.
It says on the tin that it “increases Str by 1-3 points every turn”.
But it only works on every second turn, as far as I can tell.
Screenshot attached, showing that there’s no +Str bonus.

I can also confirm as another poster that my archer gets crazy amounts of exp. as he deals a lot of damage.
Even if the enemy has a high resistance approx. 40 damage are dealt with the ability...

Talk about crazy damage? My level 6 BK Hit for 9K the other day and regular hits for over 1000. One Dungeon I racked up 14k experience.

    @Roger & @Lickzy:
Roger’s 272 max damage look ok, but not for a level 2 Gladeguard. Later on, you see crazy crits like that all the time. Right out the door, I almost never saw crits go beyond 25 or so.
1K and especially 9K looks very much broken, yup.

I currently run a lvl 3 Bloodknight with the Helsturm Mace, and his damage is perfectly within what I’d expect for that weapon. So, no clue how you folks manage that :p Ben/Pete?

@Crayonwarrior: Yes, if you want more storyquests after completing Middenland, you need the Reikland expansion.

I still think, for the sake of strategy and expressing the game at its full potential (which is imho huge), that no weapon should do over 40-50 HP, ever...and that’s only those who require a big sacrifice, like 4 APs.
You shouldn’t be able to insta kill the most powerful enemies in the game (around 100HP), critical or not.

I just reastarted a game using fresh chars with normal weapons that I know calculate things right....and the game is imho at its best (expecially if you go directly to the Skaven territory as soon as possible).
Ultra tense, every strike and APs count, cover really matters as you HAVE to hide from archers or fast enemies, spending precious APs.

I hope that when they will check the items that don’t work properly, they find something wrong in the code and all of a sudden every weapon is nerfed big time :p

Right now, the short sword is the best ‘sword’ weapon for the captain.

Also, the freeze spell should have a massive cooldown, as it’s powerful as it’s awesome.

    Got something for a guide?

I *might* be able to start writing on a gameguide this evening.

So, a call for everyone: If you have an interesting skill combo, hero kitout, tactics, etc. and want to see it in there, by all means post it.

@Pitta: I really would like to see you (and others) play.
I’m currently on storymission 5, and even at level 1 without broken weapons my folks just mowed through everything so far.
The only battle I lost so far was a 2 Minotaur ambush against only my level 3 Bloodknight. He only died because I didn’t have a healing potion on him at that time. Two more rounds, tops, and he would’ve won.
And don’t get me started on the Chillblade. With that, even my 12HP squishy Sorceress can singlehandedly win pretty much any fight against only melee enemies.

@Perchang: The Chillblade’s Freeze should be an active skill, maybe 3x per dungeon? But definitely limited in use.

    That reminds me:
I wonder if there is another factor for damage, like hero level vs. monster level: Regular Minotaurs (like in the Monsterhunter storyquest) he always killed in a single round, no problems.
In that ambush, I needed 3 rounds to kill one, triple the usual.

    Limit damage:
I agree with you on that. It’s way too easy to go full nuclear on enemies. Not sure about the exact numbers, but somewhere in the ballpark of ~50 damage max even on a crit sounds about right.

Also, I think that focusing on ranged attacks is way too powerful a strategy. But no idea what to do about it. Just hitting them with the nerfbat so they do way less damage and/or hit less often just doesn’t feel right.

Don’t get me wrong: I absolutely enjoy figuring out those overpowered combos ;) Only, it doesn’t leave much challenge for me.

If you want challenge (at least for a limited time) use as less as tanks as possible.
I’m using Sorceress and Loremaster, plus 2 glade guards (sometimes a captain and a glade guards).
It’s more difficult expecially against enemies with resistances till you don’t have a variety of weapons and slots to cope with every situation.
Not ‘hard’ but definirle harder, because you don’t have anyone to absorb ranged enemies.

I wish I could go into a dungeon with less than 4 chars.

The initial staff of the sorceress is super powerful too imho, expecially for a starting weapon.

That said, this game is truly special.
I’m super enjoying my actual playthrough and I must be super lucky because at every fork I find something cool (but not too powerful) to use.
If Perchang sticks to their plan to support this for a long time, it will be my new home for the next years.

Imagine....new tilesets, chaos warriors, big enemies, bosses, spellcasters, traps, ambushes and tons of new items and spells.

    DROOLING.

Afaik that’s correct, yes. Wouldn’t be much of a challenge if you had a full equipment set right from the start :) It adds the items for a purchased hero to the loot/shop tables.
Also worth noting that there are clearly tiers - better items cost a lot more, and are notably better than their cheaper counterparts.
Don’t worry about it, you’ll come across his stuff soon enough.

@Pitta: Yeah, that’s how I started my current playthrough, mostly squishies and melee only :p Sorc, Mage, Gladeguard, Slayer . Definitely had to be more careful, but it got a bit tedious after the first 2-3 dungeons. And I’m bloody exhausted currently, didn’t feel like high-level play where I need to be sharp and alert all the time, so I relented a bit.

The most difficult early game group I can imagine is 4 Elf Mages: low HP, weak weapons, no armor or other gamechangers at the start. To ramp it up to “suicidal”, make them all melee-only.
