Wait, your potions disappeared after use? Mine just went grey after a few uses and couldnt be used anymore in that dungeon. In the next dungeon they were available again. The uses, limited uses is confusing sometimes. I know I got a bomb that apparently has limited uses in a dungeon, but doesnt say that anywhere in its description.
Items are permanent, they don't disappear. Remaining uses are in the bottom left corner, under the char panel.
Speaking about gameplay itself for a change....I'm still sweating. Just completed a super hard dungeon with just my Sorceress alive. 2 nasty archers I didn't notice at first, hidden behind column I took AGES to reach across a chasm tempested my men with arrows and soon enough a wall fo minotaurs shielded them. My first captain shielded everyone as Simgar commanded him, but he was knocked out soon enough. Thanks to an incredible dress I found the dungeon before (super good looking, with a gold serpent on a blue background) my Sorceress had incredible high INT so she could mass kill several beats, but she couldn't reach anyone to cure. Then, my explorer opened the door and almost immediately another Minotaur cut her in two. Goodby my badass archer, called 'deathblow a plenty'. Same minotaur almost killed my other captain. He managed to survive long enough to let my sorceress retreat and prepare her might spell next turn. The Minotaur was evaporated by the pain word spell, black shards of his soul everywhere (I love both the effect and the sound). Rest is history....she managed to kill everyone n the two following rooms and avenge his fallen comrades. It will cost me a TON curing their wounds...just when I had saved 2K for the freeze sword....but at least I got an awesome new skill for the empire captains, that negates all armor resistance for all enemies for one turn. Cant wait to try it. WHAT A GLORIOUS GAME. Pic of my love:
Yeah, I thought they were permanent, I was surprised to hear someone asking about replacements. Glad to know there is something that shows remaining uses, I certainly didnt notice it. Its weird though as most items with limit use note it is the description, not sure why the bombs do not.
Ah whoops, i hadn’t realised it was still there, I had thought two characters (dark elf and empire captain) had a potion - and when the captain didn’t have one I must’ve been assuming it was use and gone like the first one! Thanks
I got a weird bug today. The game was running... wel it was running okay. Got to the second dungeon and got a crash to desktop. Today i saw an update, so i tried updating. I have an iPhone 6 on the latest ios and have over 4 gb of free space. But somehow the update kept asking for more room on the device. So i figured i uninstal it and download it again so it has the latest patch installed. But after uninstalling i saw that i have to pay for the game again!! I’m not going to pay another 6 bucks for a game i purchased yesterday. Anyone know a way around? Edit: nevermind i can redownload it at purchased items, but not by using the search function in the store.
So, now my game is broken, too. I was ambushed on a way to a mission and after that ambush or inside the ambush the game crashes to the homescreen. Tried it about ten times, it always crashed. That save game slot is now useless. Nice. Im playing on an iPad Mini 4 with latest iOS 11.0.2 and WHQ version 1.003.
@pitta: Im fairly certain the Sigmar Armor is unique, as it should be. Personally, I prefer the Hatemail: 40% Pierce Resist against those pesky Archers, and 20% chance per shot to do double damage. Especially good on a Pistol Captain @Dukat: Yes, Slash/Crush/Pierce % is damage resistance, e.g. 10% Slash and someone hits you for 10HP you only take 9 damage. In addition, you have melee & ranged Deflect, which totally negates an attack. @merefield: I personally like that you can get ambushed by serious stuff early on, the world is a dangerous place. And, it teaches you to run But personal taste, Id say. For the cooldowns, I suggested something similar during Beta. Dont know if Perchang will implement it, though. I dont rely on active skills that much, as I play in such a way that even having all my actives (not) ready doesnt make or break the game. Combat currently is only melee & ranged enemies, I really hope they add in enemy spellcasters and enemies with skills at some point to make things more interesting. @PcKid: Weird. My best guess is that they did something for iOS 11 that 10 doesnt like. Youll have to wait for Ben to give more info. @Slaanesh: No worries, you werent offending or arrogant at all. And I honestly dont know how many testers were there, but Id be VERY surprised if it was only Pitta and me @ste86: We asked for seeing the reward details before starting a quest, definitely something they should add if you ask me. Give them some time to fix the crashes first, then they can take care of adding extra bells&whistles. @stelph: Aside from early on (where a few bandages and 1-2 Potions should do the trick) even with an all-melee party you shouldnt need that much healing. I carry 3 healing potions at most, and thats always been enough; even when I did stupid stuff like fire an AoE attack into my own guys, or have them all walk through fire. Note that items do NOT deplete, you only have a limited number of uses per dungeon. Unfortunately thats not obvious from the description Ah, Pitta answered that one already. @pitta: Huh? The remaining uses show now? Didnt notice yet, thanks! Will check. @Maelwolf: The Greatsword (I assume thats who you mean by Twohander) should be able to use the Torch too. Gimme some time and Ill check and report back. @pitta: Ouch about the sweating victory. Well, I hope you learned your lesson to never open a door when there are enemies still around And Minotaurs should die in one round of focused fire anyways, they only look scary but are just glorified cannon fodder
Remaining uses are in the bottom left corner, under the char panel? I simply don't see it at all?? In a dungeon I see the character panel with items on the left hand side of the character panel. I have a health potion there and tapping on it only shows total uses and not remaining uses. #
If you can enter the ambush and then it crashes after you move or something you can choose to "quit dungeon" from the menu. But if it is crashing before entering the ambush then I feel your pain. ☹️
Well, I didn’t count you-know-who If there are more like that after completing the two main storyquests, I don’t know as I didn’t play more sidequests after that yet. And if I missed a bonus storyquest or somesuch, it’s rather well-hidden; I did look for something like that
Im sorry, I played always on iOS 11 so youll have to wait for Ben or Pete for that, assuming they are still alive. Last time I heard Games Workshop sent a Necromancer to rise them up, they died of exhaustion 3 days ago
Spoiler The Gray Seer at the end of second campaign has 1-2 spells. After you complete the game, he pops up in the white quest quite frequently in my game, loving being shielded by the Warlord and firing fireballs at me.
@pitta: yeah thats him alright. Interesting that he becomes a regular enemy after completing his story.
Do play white quests after completion. The mix & match of enemies is the best ever, it really ramps up the required strategy.
If it helps I have iOS 10.3.3 on my iPad Pro 12.9" first gen and it works fine. and Pitta, thanks for clarifying the potion usage thing. I was tapping on the potion while it was greyed out and it doesn't show the remaining uses, the potion needs to be available to use to get that info. # Now if they could do something about showing the remaining cooldown time, rather than the total, for some items that would be most helpful.....unless I am not seeing that as well #
