Thanks @Carabak I'm so pleased to tell you that we have alreday done and submitted exactly what you suggest: - removed ALL option to buy Warpstone for Gold - added Warpstone rewards for rolling an irresistable force and for entering an Arcane Fulcrum - ensured that all Plunder Packs always include: 1 scroll, 1 Warpstone and 1 additional Scroll or 1 additional Warpstone (50/50) With that, healing is now 100% a game mechanic and cannot be paid for. Additionally, revisiting Plunder Packs ensures that you will never grind to a halt for running out. I hope you like it! The new build is waiting for Apple review and set to auto-publish on approval. Finally get it! After strugling every day since release, I finally get this game! I have got to the last chapter, no IAP, which I think is a rip off for a $12.99AUD game. Finally realised how to equip and use the scrolls and can now get through a level without using gems for health or revival. Tha spell that pushes the bad guys back, (wind blast) is excellent, as are the buffs to give you a little space to move. Great game. One more session to unlock the Chaos Sorcerer. I question the probability balance on the game; I had every wizard have a miss, twice in a row in Act 2 Children 6. I know there is a 1 in 6 chance of missing, but the monsters seldom, if ever miss.
@Gavx The version was done on Friday and submitted to Apple same evening. The way it works is that it now waits for manual review from the Apple App Store crew. That usually takes about a week, but no guarantees. We have set it up to auto-publish as soon as it is approved, and you should then get an update notice if you own the game. So we're hoping it will be out this week! The sooner the better for us of course. I'll update here too when it is live! @eugenemcardle Glad to hear you figured it out and that you like it! In this thread you can read about the imminent changes to IAP structure. I hope you find them in better taste The dice balance is fair, I promise! In fact, monsters and wizards share the exact same algorithm for dice rolls. So the double fail and monsters seeming not to, is just bad luck or a matter of perception.

I was looking forward to this release since it was announced but the F2P model for a pus game put me off. AngryJoe however, put the final nail in this games coffin for me
Wanted to let you know here first! The build with no Warpstone for gold was just approved and should be live on the AppStore imminently, it's already live here in Norway. If you own the game, you should get a update norification. And you can probably go into the AppStore to do it right now! If you don't own the game, I hope you will try it out now! If you like the game, pretty please help us by rating it. We have no ratings at the moment. And help us spread the word if you can! A lot of people don't know about these changes. Personally speaking this update has completely transformed your game Turbotape. Frustration has been replaced with tense excitement. The game is immersive and atmospheric and feels like a real game rather than a freemium shell. Really like the spells, cards and spell casting...and now I can save gold up to buy scrolls instead of Warpstones. Will go and put a five star review on App Store and a few other places.
The patch fixed most of the issues with the game. Would be nice if the in-game cash was actually experience which could be used to "upgrade" your dice to 7 sided, 9 sided etc. Good to see that the loot picked up now includes gems, even on replay. Also, would be nice if nice if health was restored to the wizard who moves to the arcane magic spot.
Good move, dev. Will now go back and try this again. Warp stones aside, my initial hesitation was partly around the game not quite fulfilling my expiectations. I was expecting to be piloting a kick-455 wizard taking on all in his path, but found the earlier missions to be more "work out which beast to mindhack and let it do the hard work, bc it's a whole stack harder than you'll ever be." Hoping this changes. Will look forward to finding out!
This needs to be seen more around here, the dev removed the IAP for warpstones. Quick to bitch but then where do they go when the developer responds directly? Love this game!
Great changes but I have yet to play this game (will probably be patched further before I do get pasta few older games). Backlog curse and all.
Great game, finally picked up the Chaos wizard. Once the mechanics click and you realise that movement etc is restricted with certain spells, the strategic possibilities are endless. This game needs more love, a truly great game I will be playing for a long time. Thanks Devs, your hard work will pay off.
