Rage attack bug still in effect It hit me again today. Terminator getting hit by space marine rage attack. 500 life left but game ends in my defeat. I won't waste time playing the space marine builds not worth the time until this is fixed. Now if we could just get them to make two handed weapons worth using. hms_dread0
Low level PVP with maxed legendary cards? Just played a guy: danielucho2000, they were in the grey and red league level 5. The player had maxed out teleports rare and epic and at least 2 level 5 legendary cards. How is this possible the top 5 or so players have this not the newbies. Either my forge visits have been really bad luck or they have spent a lot on iron runes or some people have farming bots in this game. Anyone else seen this?
New bots play faster and are more varies than old ones. Still suffer from fatal bot flaws, but at least it's a step to right direction. Well, except for not being humans - pvp still mainly grinding bots...
Definitely a bot. They are much more varied now, but one thing they all seem to have in common is the 5th level of the grey/red league, and their typically idiotic strategy.
My concern is the bots farm the character up to a great deck of cards with minimal time invested. Then the owner takes over and plays the deck which they did not earn. It is running the PVP. I've been playing since launch about 5000 gold a day. But I can keep up with these decks. The forge is too stingy for human players even with iron runes. I've played you and your deck is much better than mine but I'm seeing the bot farms have six zero cost teleports and level 5 and 6 legendaries. No way that was done in a month. Hero craft you need to take action on this. I have a theory on how to spot the bots in play mode. Thanks for reading my rant.
Extreme Forge plus iron runes harsh percentage And just how harsh is the forge? Just ran 25 iron runes on extreme difficulty. 15 uncommon! 3 epic 7 rare 0 legendary The bots have won, the forge is crap there is no way to advance in this game as a human player. I'm done.
Bots are ran by HeroGames because there aren't enough human players to allow for pvp. They aren't accounts owned by people botted to grind coin. It'd be more useful to set up bot to grind gears from single player mission anyway, as that's far easier to solve algorithmically and yield in same wallclock time would be just fine (you can get enough gears for five times the number of forgings thus covering for failures by not grinding pvp for coin only sp mission for gears).
Having just started this game and finally figuring out how best to spend my the credits, is there a way to reset? Shame the promo codes are all time limited and expired, how are new players expected to catch-up?
Overwatch queries Ok, so... Is the overwatch rating the probability that overwatch will be initiated should an opponent end their movement in your field of fire OR does the overwatch rating refer to the probability of scoring a hit on an opponent should they end their movement in your field of fire. Just asking this because I've had countless encounters where an enemy has ended their movement in the firing range of a squadmate equipped with an overwatch weapon (with sufficient ammo) only for nothing to happen. Is this a glitch or have I misinterpreted the overwatch rule?
Overwatch Yes, the percentage listed for overwatch is the probability it will trigger when an opponent moves through an overwatch covered space. Thus the space marine armor ability "+10% overwatch" increases the probability of shooting. The next level ability (as I recall) gives a bonus to hit when firing in overwatch.
Overwatch chance is probability of firing, with scoring a hit based on normal weapon accuracy. Also, only one overwatch attack can happen between turns even if multiple enemies end up moving into firing range.
No One Lives Forever Granted I'm late to this party I'm not even sure I'll get a reply to this but... No One Lives Forever: I've tried rushing, which much to my annoyance has been the easy mode tactic up to this point, but the terminators really get on top of me and I can't hold up. Fighting through, by the time I've taken down Frell I'm out of gas. So what's the secret? I've done every main and side objective up to this point so short of doing PVP, I can't grind any more levels. I'm playing terminator with the legendary hammer, Mjalnir, sword, auto cannon and Gatling, I have terminator, demo and tactical marine at level 4. At present I'm doing all I can to grind, which is the stupidly slow process of logging in daily for the rewards. I want to complete the game before spending money on the new game, and the one that initially caught my attention, Death Watch.
First off, welcome to this fun 40k game! Both this game and deathwatch are immensely enjoyable. They're similar in a lot of ways, but both are worth playing. As far as your difficulties go, it's been a long time since I played that map, and they've changed progression since I've done it, but it doesn't sound like your under-equipped. How much have you leveled your terminator armor and your squadmates? You probably want at least lvl 3 squadmates (if not lvl 5) by this point, and a good few levels I. Your armor as well. iirc, I only sent one marine down the hall to reach the bonus objective while the other two stayed and fought. You don't want to engage feel until your marine gets back. Don't fight anyone in the hall you don't have to. As far as the frell fight goes, don't line your marines so he hits more than one at a time. Try to stay near each other so he doesn't go super crazy with his porting. And remember, he'll chase/attack your lowest hp marine he can reach, so try to use that to your advantage. Good luck, and hang in there. Some levels are definitely tougher than others, and if you want you could probably skip the bonus for now and come back for it later. Just wait til you get to the last level... That's when the fun really begins And we'll see you soon in the deathwatch thread
Thanks for the response Vect. My main is level 12 with tier 5 terminator skills, my squad mates are level 4. I think you are thinking of the first Frell encounter mission though. In "No One Lives Forever" you have to take down the boss charging the tesseract. You get constant Chaos spawning behind you, and as you move forward 4 terminators spawn, and when you get close to the boss Frell spawns with two more terminators. The closest I've got is battling through until Frell spawns, then abandoning my squad and the chaplain as a distraction while I rushed the boss, but by that time there was a massive pile of Chaos behind me and they didn't last long when Frell got involved. Fighting through, by the time I've killed Frell I have only my main left with way too many chaos marines spawned, and rushing, Frell and the terminators do way too much damage to ignore.
Ah, yes, you were right. I was thinking of the previous frell mission. For the one you're on, i definitely played with my character and squadmates maxed out skill wise. I used all-melee term armor setup with term and scout squadmates. This is important because your main will basically need to be able to solo the boss in order to win, and melee is much more effort-efficient damage. Basically my deck was mostly L melee cards and a bunch of low cost cards for moving (move, spring, teleport, -effort). First clear the marines at the top of the stairs. As the last one is about to die, try to predict which way the npc teammate will run down the stairs and go that way with your team. You all want to go down the same staircase (but not too far ahead, don't want to spawn terms early) so you can focus on two terminators at a time when the spawn. Then kill the other two terms and two marines. As they about a turn or two from dying, you make a break for it down the bridge with your main char, spawning frell. The key is to make him port towards you and run as far past him as you can so he tries to chase your marines instead of your main. It's possible (but harder) to do this with the last to terms too. At this point, you're making a mad dash for the boss with your main while the rest of the team kites frell. Eventually they'll get overwhelmed and kill, but who cares. They'll have bought you time to own the boss and get the victory (and the cool teaser cut scene)! Good luck!
Passing that mission is not hard. I did the mission with the first 2 conditions (get the box and win while frei is still alive). With that passed and all other side-quests I got my max level 13 (2500)hp. I did this with a level 2 terminator squad member and a level 2 scout(free to play player). The only problem in this mission was to win while brother Carl is still alive. He is a very powerful ally in that mission(his blaster and melee and op). After that I started playing PVP and grinded coins for the squad members rank up. After entering the legendary league my scout and terminator were about 6-7 level. So I went back to play the mission and the tactic was simple. Kill the 4 terminators while not losing hp. After that I charged with my hero down to attack the frei and the 2 terminators while my 2 squad members and Carl were fighting up the 2 by 2 approaching chaos marines. I stunned frei and the 2 terminators with the terminator rocket launcher so my hero could kill them. After killing them my hero had about 1000 hp so I was prepared to use a life rune if he dies vs the boss. I got my blue stun move card so I stunned the 5k boss and ended up winning with 400 hp left to spare. At the end Carl was low and had about 300 hp so I had a bit of luck as well. I managed to do that in my 3rd attempt after upgrading the squad members. If the prefer other classes for your hero for example the scout using a lot of companions is a very good tactic because they are a good distraction and also deal some damage. That's about it. Waiting for the new campaign. I hope this helped. Good luck
