Try backing up on itunes on itunes first (pc), then delete and reinstall from itunes. I just did when i changed device. But in theory it should get the saves from 'the cloud'.
vect, DLJ, thanks for the tips. The second time was much easier However one strange thing happened: I've been extra careful to avoid hurting any bloodletter, but in the last turns one of them got accidentally hit by an overwatch (nothing critical, he was ok), but I did not get the achievement for not killing any of them... very disappointing... PS: by the way, do you also have this "server maintenance" issue? it's been 2 days I can't play...
Well this didnt work... Still having the disconnected from server issue. Is anyone else having this issue?
Guys, we know that about one fourth of players have faced server maintenance for over than 24 hours! Please accept our apologies for this emergency which caused the crash of one of the servers. Here goes the key for 3 rare cards - XYKXGVETFZ (will work till Jan 31, 23:59 GMT)
And now for some bugs: Killing 2 enemies in one shot, only gives +1 defense with the terminator ability (maybe also an issue with the heal?) Using a 'draw an extra card' attack (eg the epic axe) does not give you an extra card (at least not if used as the last action in the turn).
Do you know what level and weapon did not give the +1 card when used as the second action. O confirmed that the power axe and thunder hammer legendaries both work as advertised on mission 3-1 by testing in combination with ambush (I had a full hand at the start of the next turn). I know that it doesn't show the +1 card symbol when it zooms in for a hit cinematic, but it still draws. As for the multiple kill glitch, that's interesting (and I'm too lazy to try it with a flamethrower). Hopefully it'll be caught in the next couple patches. I do know that the energy refund for multiple kills by squadmates (the power armor bonus) works, but that's significantly different enough that it has no bearing on the armor/heal.
This is great but I am still having the "disconnect" problem that I started having yesterday. As this happens within several minutes of getting online and basically means that I am reliving the last action ala groundhog day every time I log on, any ideas on how to resolve this. I basically am unable to play or do anything at this point. I have tried deleting the game and reinstalling from itunes but that did not do anything to resolve the issue. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Sorry sorry! I've been hounding on some real life females! Vect, myself and another high level player had an email chain about this, I will take some time during this ridic nyc snow storm to post the relevant parts.... Long story short, always runes over boosters. I've personally gotten lucky a few times with 2 of the 3 40 pack boosters I've bought (2 legendaries in one and 3 in another), but have found in my ~250-350,000 total runes forged that the only good way to do it (when NOT using runes) is forging straight through on hard when you have 6000+ runes accumulated. I usually do this at the 8000 mark when farming my way up to 15000 coins for rune pack. In addition, it usually yields better results when you forge 50 straight runes on extreme. The forging mechanism has some pattern which they built in to give you multiple of the same high level epics/legendaries it gives you when doing it all at once...probably a gift from the deva, assuming people know how to utilize this for maximum effect.
I am willing to bet that this is the series of events that is actually occurring: 1) you start your turn with 6 cards in your hand 2) you use the first card of your turn, leaving you with 5 in your hand. 3) you use the legendary axe or w/e draw card, which drops you to 4 cards in hand but then draws one immediately. 4) your turn automatically ends with 5 cards in hand. You never see the 5th card because it just jumps to the next guys turn. 5) eventually it rolls back around to your turn. The maximum number of cards you can have in your hand is 6, and The game sees you have 5 cards in hand, so it draws 1 for you, bringing you up to max. You start your turn with a full hand and wonder WTF. Now I know it's weird system, and the whole "draw one card" "bonus" is not useful if you use it as your second action. However, if you use it first, you do effectively give yourself another card to pick from in that turn, which has a chance of being a solid advantage (albeit a small chance normally, but you never know!) P.s. You can test this card max by using a supply card with 5 or 6 cards in hand. The same thing will happen. But that's not why people use supplies in their deck...
The other use fullness you are maybe forgetting is when your action also uses one or more cards to buff your attack, for instance if you are attacking with a melee weapon and you have one or more buff cards adding extra damage to your attack, you could feasibly use up 2-4 cards in one action and that add an extra card would help replenish your stack for the next action. I know I have sometimes found myself with just one or two cards in my deck after one attack due to this.
I was left with 3 cards and ended up with 5 in the new turn, so... -need to verify though, maybe i forgot that it used a chain card or something Regarding the heal, it does actually not say 'per kill' but '+1 if attack is lethal.' So not a bug strictlly speaking, more a frasing thing i guess.
Nm it worked, my bad eyes then. Even works if you miss with the weapon. I take my whole 'bug post' back
Forging discussion To continue to discussion regarding forging I just made a number of runs and recorded some stats, if anyone is interested. Each run was 25 forging attempts. The first was using "Hard" (200 gear cost), the second "Extreme" (250 gear cost) and the last was "Extreme" with Iron Runes. tl;dr - Extreme is for suckers unless you've got runes. As MeanMachine indicated the best ROI (w/o Runes) seems to be on Hard. Basic Data: Run 1 (Hard) 15 Failures, 10 success (60% failure rate) Distribution: 13 Common, 4 Uncommon, 5 Rare, 2 Epic, 0 Legendary Net Result: 3 common items, 3 uncommon items, 3 rare items, 1 epic item Run 2 (Extreme) 22 Failures, 3 success (88% failure rate) Distribution: 0 Common, 7 Uncommon, 4 Rare, 11 Epic, 1 Legendary, 2 unknown Net Result: 2 uncommon items, 1 rare item [Note: Two separate server disconnects during run resulted in failures of unknown rarity] Run 3 (Extreme, iron rune) 25 success (0% failure rate) Distribution: 0 Common, 8 Uncommon, 11 Rare, 4 Epic, 2 Legendary Net Result: 8 uncommon items, 11 rare items, 4 epic items, 2 legendary items No significant pattern was observed, but the sample sizes are smaller than the 50 that was mentioned earlier so the jury is still out on that. If someone has gears to burn it would be interesting to do runs on lower difficulties and see how the distributions compare
Runes how did y'all get so many damn runes I've been using 3-1 to grind Any update on when the next missions come out? I've completed all missions, only side quest I haven't finished is keeping brother Moron alive on last mission. Any advice? Dude just runs at enemies and makes tons of bone head moves.
You have to basically follow him around with one or both squad members while sending your main character (and one squad, ate if needed) to the boss man. Took a few tries but once you see the strategy you'll adjust and complete quickly. As for your second question...I was told be an insider early next week or early in the week after
It's going to be interesting once multiplayer comes out. I wonder what the player stats will be. For me I focused more on weapons rather than leveling my squad. My main squad mates are only level 3. If anyone has maxed their squad what this the cost per level? I got some really nice cards from all the booster pack I bought.
I am curious when you say "nice cards" could you be more specific? and how many and of what type of booster packs did you buy? As to squad level, it gets pretty pricey as you improve them and as you improve your main hero skills. I think I am only up to lvl 3 - 5 depending on which squaddie it is.
Run with 25 hard, no runes1 13 Failures, 12 success (52% failure rate) Distribution: didnt record it Net Result: 4 common items, 1 uncommon items, 6 rare items, 2 epic item Nice rolls
I have mostly legendary and epic weapons. Also, 2 jump packs, 2 teleport, several shields and stun, burn, ambush, and several move cards. I bought the largest booster pack first than the second largest and some small packs.
Squad mate levelling can be calculated by 800*(L) where L is their current level, or 800*(N-1) where N is their new level. They go up to level 8, so the final upgrade costs 5600 credits.
