Vect-- Obviously it doesn't exist, or the guy would have posted a pic in his post! tryin'a fool us and shit!
Howl exists: it heals all allies within 15 spaces for 200hp, and it is only available, from what I have seen, in Gunnar's deck in the tutorial level: 1-1, when he teleports down to help out.
Wow, I either never caught that the first time or have just since forgotten. Either way, nice catch. Now herocraft just needs to put that on the wolfie!
So I finally got around to "finishing the game" today. That is to say, I finished the last mission while keeping brother Carl alive and finished The Rain solo again (never bothered to try after they fixed it til now) and I must say: Wow, that was challenging! I had to get the right combination of luck, timing, strategy, crappy AI pathing, and cards to get the job done, and I still only pulled it off by the skin of my teeth (ie main character was brought down below 100hp by the attack that triggered my rage and subsequently allowed me to kill Oraix)! But now that I'm done, I actually was able to kill off everything on the board with Carl + 2 except the last two terminators and Frell. So thank you HeroCraft for the wonderfully tuned game! After endless mindless runs of mission 3-1, I can genuinely say that this game is 100% beatable without paying a cent, and I hope you guys enjoy your $20 reward I know I'll enjoy the legendary spear, autocannon, and overwatch bolter it netted me (And That I didn't need to do 38 mission runs to earn!) Happy new year y'all! Here's too looking forward to the campaigns and pvp that 2015 will bring us
The worst thing about this game is that you can not turn off the noisy music separately from the sound effects. Ho w can a big rich studio come up wth such a stupid design decision.
Hi there Im now stucking in 3-3 "Chased by Flame" Can someone give me a hand? I use only my main with all low turn items but seem like it wont work...
You're on the right track. Remember, the lava rising is turn-based, not effort based, so never take 1-move turns if you can avoid it. Also, remove any -effort cards from you're deck for this. It's not a bad idea to bring squad mates to distract as many of the enemies as you can. It's a good idea to bring the Einar because his jump-packs can help him get past obstacles/bottlenecks. Other than that, just load up on low-effort cards and any jump-packs or teleportation cards you can get a hold of (and save them for moments when the Enemy is blocking your advance). If you're still having trouble after that, if your main characters scout deck is level 3, you can get the skill that makes move cards cost 3 less effort, although the mission is definitely doable without this. Let me know when you complete the mission or if you still need more help. I had hoped he would have tried this before coming here, but in case that I was mistaken, do what redplague said!
Card info Hi all, So I was just wondering if anyone out there had put together a compilation of all the different known cards including all the corresponding upgrades? (i.e. take the legendary young kings blade card-use version. At lvl 1 the card does 460 dam and has a 85% chance to hit and causes the target to discard 2 cards with a use of 8. At lvl 2 it does 505 dam and has a 86% chance to hit. But what does the card at lvl 3, 4, 5, and fully upgraded version at lvl 6?) Just wondering if anyone had put together a list of this nature. Would be nice to be able to look at different versions when deciding to scrap something or not, not that I would scrap a legendary card per say but some of my rares could definitely end up in the pile. Oh and has anyone seen a card that could be upgraded to lvl 8? There appears to be available slots open on the cards indicating that some might have this option or is this something that just has not been utilized yet? Also on a unrelated topic, has there been any kind of announcement when stage 4 will be coming out? thanks
Thx guys, actually i was pass that stage right after put an question in here. I do excactly what u said Vect Raised the Scout skill, and the most importance is figure that the Lava flames is Turnbase. I keep thinking moving 1 by 1 step is the fastest way to passed all object, but in this situation we must move 2 by 2, as far as we can.
Glad you got past it. Now enjoy the next few levels while preparing for the sharply-increasing difficulty
To my knowledge, there is no card list/compilation out there, especially not with stats of cards at each upgrade, & I wouldn't expect one to exist unless there is some way to read them from the game files (which is far beyond my understanding, I just know that it has happened with games in the past), if card trading was implemented, or if a list was released by HeroCraft. I say this because of how incredibly difficult it is to level up a legendary card to max level (or even lvl 5, which allowed you to see what the maxed out card would look like on the evolve screen). To get one level 5 card, you need 16 individual drops. At the rate you can forge legendary cards, you would need either to have once in a trillion luck, pay thousands of dollars, or grind tens of thousands of runs. That being said, it wouldn't be that hard to get a list of lvl 1, 2 & 3 stats together, it would just take someone caring enough to do it. But basically you use whatever cards you can get your hands on until you can fill out your decks with epic and legendary cards. I personally auto-disassemble any C, UC, & R weapons and keep every E & L weapons and any UC,R,&E move or use cards (like -effort or teleport) until I've maxed out 3 of them. I don't throw away any E's or L's because you never know if you'll end up getting 5 of them in a row and it actually ends up being the best card in your deck even though it would be far from ideal if every card was equally leveled. Ps I've seen no mention of lvl 8 cards or an ETA on the next update. Just crossing the ol' fingers and hoping its sooner rather than later
I'd say throw out the chance of failure in the Forge (and tweak the chances for higher rarities, if need be), and let players use their acquired or purchased Iron Runes to instead increase the chances of crafting cards with higher rairities. The risk of receiving nothing in return for your investment in decidely less fun than slightly reduced chances for higher rarities but guaranteed success, to my mind. And, with the right balance on your part, HeroForge, hopefully the purchase of Iron Runes can be made at least as attractive.
I would agree that something needs to be done to make the Forge more attractive to use. I typically use the 50/50 hard option. Last night I blew 1000 gears (5 chances). I had 2 common, 2 uncommon, and one rare pop up... all failed so I got nothing. A week ago I bought 5 iron runes to use with the extreme chance. I got 4 uncommons and a rare, all of which were useless. I won't be doing that again. Now its possible I have the worst luck, but that kind of result is just depressing and makes grinding for gears even that much more unsatisfying. Wish they would tweak the chance of the card failing so it didnt happen as often, or maybe tweak the iron rune so that not only does it guarantee success of the card but also lowers the chance of getting a useless uncommon card, maybe instead of their being a 32% chance for UC/R/E and 4% chance of L (for example - i am sure the actual % are different) it could instead force those % to change to something like 20%U, 40% R, 30% E, 10% L or something thus forcing the chance for a better card higher and improving our chances of getting something useful with the use of the card. I just don't know what exactly could be done and still leave the element of failure involved. I do know that its depressing when 5 out of 5 chances at 50% results in 5 failures to even get a card.
I've been trying to find the time to write a heavy post about this... me and a few other fanatic players have been discussing this about 2 weeks and we;ve found some very clear patterns..... I'll try and post this weekend, but in the meantime use the following rubric (and this is given you ARE CORRECT, WITHOUT RUNES THE BEST BANG FOR BUCK IS RARE FORGING FOR 200): NEVER FORGE WITHOUT RUNES WITHOUT MORE THAN 4000 GEARS TO SPEND IN A ROW
I am very interested in seeing your explanation for this... I don't know trying to bank gears and then hold onto them to hit that level seems a bit challenging... Not sure I have the patience to hold onto them that long.
Lol, you should also save for the 25 rune pack. Normally I don't craft at all til I get 15k gold and then do all my crafting all at once.
I've been working my way slowly through this game. Have to say, I loved the Chaos Dreadnought level. Fought my way to the point where the Drwadnought appeared, had a WTF moment, fought it, beat it, fought down to the crate and took it, fought my way back up to the mission end point
