Yea gameplay is a bit slow, turns shouldnt take that long to do either. By turns I mean when you make a move then have to turn the direction of your character.
Can't find myself playing this again. I don't mind iphone / mobile games that are time consuming but this game is just painfully slow. It just feels like you get no where, especially the turn mechanic. Also; why is it game over if one character dies? I'll be 20 minutes into a mission and die. With no reward? Just seems silly
Just finished Hope and Fears (mission 2-3) with all sculls. And I haven't spent one cent for IAP. It was really tough, but doable.
Not so much. It takes about 1-1.5 hours per mission. Frankly speaking I spent more time managing cards, rather than playing missions. User interface for decks building and cards management is not user friendly at all. I hope that developers will fix and streamline it soon.
Here is a suggestion that could possible fix a lot of heart-ache people have: If you get show or meter attacked, your character turns toward that enemy automatically. If I got shot or attacked from the side I wouldn't just stand facing away from them. I would turn. This would help with the flanking that happens all too often especially in melee
I've installed it the other day as I was browsing for some WH 40k in the App Store and it's not too bad, although I can see I would get frustrated in a long run with a sluggish gameplay. If you talking time-killer this app kills it softly and slowly...
WHAT? You can move without the move cards? HalleFreakingLujah! I was just reading up in this forum and getting ready to post about how frustrating it is to try to play a mission which should take me 2-3 minutes to finish but instead takes 15 minutes because I'm continuosly tyring to get new move cards. Worst gaming experience of my life! But now you say it's not neccessary, thank you! Will try this game again asap!
My feedback Thumb reach I play on my iPhone6+ and the UI need some work to make parts of the UI more accessable. For example the confirm buttons pop up in the middle of the screen and I can't reach it. Please put such UI elements to the left or right side where the thumbs easily reach. Filters Many players have gone into depth about this. I can only give my +1 that it must be improved. Trying to work with the deck is pretty much so frustrating it's impossible. Mini map and zoom out +1 yes please Other than that I can only say that I don't mind the freemium model. The trick for the devs is to keep it balanced and fair in multiplayer. I can grind as long as I feel the time is worth it. I can pay sometimes as long as I feel it really gives value.
Codes? I've just finished reading through all 25 pages here on this forum as well as post 2 replies of my own, including feedback. Unfortunately none of the codes mentioned work any more, so I never got to use them, and I feel sad about this... any chance of a new code?
Click on your other cards and instead of using it, click the foot icon. It'll allow you to move consuming any card. It'll use that card, but you'll be able to move. It's still s really slow game, compared to most turn based.
I have another question: do anyone understand what Rage is? Does it only give you the chance to increase your attack damage once by tapping on the screen? If it is only effect of Rage - than it really useless thing.
I'd like to add a few more UI-tweaks. Cards to the left I'd very much like to have the cards in a list on the left hand side instead of on the bottom. Why? Because of the reach problem again. Card action/move Again, please move this interaction to the left or right hand side instead of in the middle (my preference would be on the right side) Fast forward I'd very much like this as a toggle instead of a touch-and-hold. (as in Heroes of Dragon Age. Toggle the fast speed once and it will stay in that mode forever until toggled off) This kind of stuff might seem small to some people but to me it's the polish and creates a nice friction free playing experience and it shows that the devs understand mobile devices, finger placement etc. It's a bit different when you don't control everything through a single mouse pointer Thanks!
Rage is a bar that builds up and as soon as it fills, you gain a turn regardless of your effort. When you take that turn, the next attack you make is boosted by the fast-tap up to a maximum of 200% damage iirc. So the best way you could make use of it is that right before it fills, you burn a ton of effort since you know you will be going again right after. There are a bunch of class skills that affect how you gain rage and what you can do with it once the bar fills, I think the terminator armor especially has a load of rage related class skills.
Thank you for the answer. So iRage also gives me turn immediately. It makes it potentially a bit more useful. But without respective rage-boosting skills it usually happens only once per game unfortunately.
