Hi all, i am new to the game , is it worthwhile to purchase starter pack / value park now? Or wait till i am higher up in lvl? Read that the legendary weapon gather will scale to ur current level?
So, I took a run through tonight's daily event, made Exemplar, and...my "Competent" quest didn't clear. After a dozen complaints on this forum it's still there, apparently waiting for me to score Legend whenever cheaters and luck permit. Fixes on the other stuff I can wait for (and have been), but this...Johnny, you had one job and you let it slide? This is starting to get forge-quest frustrating in very short order, especially because I've mentioned on several occasions the need for a quest rescan button -- if we had one, these bugged-quest shenanigans wouldn't even be an issue, but without one we're at PixelToys' monthly mercy for patches. Of course, that rescan button won't fix the salvage ore bug which also remains in full effect, but it'd be a good start...
Same here, loyalty quest still broken. You said it would be fixed with the next update, and we've waited patiently for that to happen. That (and other critical fixes) should have been priority one, and it is unacceptable that this has not been addressed. Fixing these issues is certainly more important than coding an advert for a free model to take up 1/3 of the screen. Makes me angry that I spent money on this game, and I certainly won't be spending anymore until you guys fix the issues in the game.
Yeah that's it. I'm done. There are still 3 million plus scores in the tiered event. Nobody is watching, nobody is fixing, nobody cares. They'll be glad I'm finally quitting this broken game because that makes one less "complainer" affecting their potential ad revenue...
"Competent" quest has not cleared for me either. that is what I was waiting for the update. Guys if you can not fix it get rid of it. Johnny please pass this on to the developers, I'm loosing my enthusiasm for the game. I am happy you got rid of that idiot who made 1 million points in the latest event.
With only an hour to go in this event I'm still seeing what looks like cheating, tell me if I'm wrong but 1,828,263 seams a bit steep. How on earth are us genuine players meant to get close to winning anything when cheating is still going on? There's no point in banning them after the event has already finished and we have lost our chance.
For what it's worth, Leoric, that screenshot suggests that only 60 percent of the five level-364 battle cannons up as prizes yesterday went to cheaters. The rest of the world had a perfectly fair shot at the other two, right? This would be why Legend awards need to be percentage-based, Johnny...there's cachet, and then there's legitimately unattainable.
Last couple of pages on here has had no reply with johnny although he could be busy it kind of looks like this game is done with, I have spent a lot of hours forging some decent fitouts and with the last update of this game I have received a whole lot of 350 legendary items with no effort, 3 objectives added, patrols tweaked on difficulty and the absurd event scores/cheating thing going on with not even a hint of anything, sort of says game completed and not worth anymore attention???? For people still spending their money should ease up on that until some sort of response does come from the developers,
A minor but interesting update tonight: while earning a high rank (Master, this time) in the daily event still didn't clear my "Competent" quest, the evening salvage run yielded a pair of Boost Ore blessings, followed by a green wargear crate. It's something, at least.
dantom - I've been playing since December and have reached level 50, obtained the lightning cannon and gauntlet, and for a short while only was in the top 25 of the final objective in chapter 11 without making any IAPs (sorry Johnny !) Takes a lot of grinding, but that's part of the fun. Sure the game crashes every now and then, and getting rid of my last "forge 20 items" was a pain in the backside, but you don't need to spend cash to enjoy playing. That said - if you want to speed up progress it's up to you #
Hello Johnny, thanks for the much needed update! Already started seeing some better salvage drops and the forge is working quite well too. No performance hiccups whatsoever, everything works smoothly (iPhone 6s plus). Unfortunately the error regarding the "competent" event ranking still haunts me, even though I got several master rankings last week (still young for legend ) I've had a forge 20 items quest (gives a purple reward ) and still struggling to get past it, but it's ok since I am always forging to get better items. @fellow players: What is your favorite build? I am currently seeing almost every top player with gauntlet, battle cannon, stubber and autocannon, can't help but wonder why I am not viewing melta guns (perfect for vehicles!)
Melta guns are ok, stuck with my gold melta for some time but the a golden stubby kills everything just faster. the lightning cannon is great but sometimes it kills too quick when you need to get the timing right for the multiplier. Gauntlet is definitely the way to go. I keep good versions of the other weapons just to change things a little.
annoying error A couple weeks back i had to restart my game due to issues with syncing. probably caused by the game center error but last night, and this morning, when I try to send out a salvage team. the game hangs the game says i have a team available, but when going there it says no available teams and am unable to click out of that screen. the only thing to do is to restart the game any ideas? Damn, I thought the Lightning canon would be my first option but that tip about "getting the timing right for the multiplier" really changed my perspective And I've got to speed things up a bit, I am currently at level 43 - must get to 50 soon for that glorious legendary stubber! Also - is the thermal cannon "off" the list due to its small area damage? It almost one-shot kills most vehicles at my current level.. @darrinsden Try rebooting your device - another player also experienced connection problems that were eliminated after rebooting, I've had no problems today whatsoever.
That was my assumption too, but is happening on both of my devices, and a reboot hasnt fixed.. may remove and reinstall but dont want to reset my progress again if that happens again, I will just remove Having no problems with the game at this point, except get no salvage teams I can get my free ore, free blessings before a mission, just not that
I think the thermal cannon is better, it may not have the coverage but can speed up the kills you get. I find with the lightning cannon you learn how to use it at the right time.
All right, I'll bite: anyone have their event access go down tonight? I kept returning an NFCA-2 error despite multiple resets, which means I didn't get to take my usual evening shot at the daily event or my last shot at the tiered one. Frustrating to say the least, especially when I remain competent-quested.
