Yeah on the iPhone 6s Plus this game looks absolutely stunningly gorgeous! The phone just screams along at what feels like 60 + fps. The plus is the perfect size for gaming and even for the DJI pilot app. Nothing like being 1,500 feet high going through clouds while watching in retina! It's such a dam shame this game isn't a paid game. This game has everything about it that could cause you to get sucked in, DEEPLY! Customizing, rpgish, awesome graphics, solid gameplay...
Just wait. Too many currency types, ridiculous timers and even towards the end of the second chapter you're going to be outmatched without serious lucky loot drops or some good old IAP. I'd gladly have shelled out $15-20 for a FULL experience but I'm not even giving these guys $6 just to end up having to pay more and more a little down the line.
I'd seriously like to know how far that IAP takes you before I take the plunge. What do you think, bro?
My guess they would generate much less cash at a $20 one off price than iaps. History seems to tell that they generate a lot more this way. Damn it looks awesome but those pay walls. Lulls you into false hope as the first few missions glide by easily but then the paywall hits with very rapid increase in difficulty. But decorating your Imperial Knight is so much fun.
What a shame. I'm normally all over games with AAA visuals but the reports of multiple currencies, timers and adverts mean I won't be touching this with a barge pole. The consensus seems to be that the core gameplay is a hoot and for that I'd have gladly paid a high end premium price, even for a game with IAPs for folk who simply want to dive in at the higher tiers of gear. I don't mind a little grind but timers, multiple currencies and adverts really grind my gears.
The game is excellent. It looks and sounds incredible and runs like liquid silk on my 6s Plus. I've only completed the first chapter and so far so good. Yes, the pop-up ads are annoying and disrupt the atmosphere and flow of the game. I'll see how things progress from here but I will not be throwing money at this game if I hit a pay wall. I have no problem with spending a reasonable amount in order to progress, but I won't be milked for high levels of cash. Some people might be happy to spend ridiculous amounts on IAPs but not me. We shall see what happens as I progress into the second chapter!
Great game and the freemium aint bad so far.. Yes it has adverts and currencies galore but im halfway through chapter 2 and have yet to hit a grind.... (drops mic)
LOLOLOLOLOLOL , NOT FAR , these so called "starter pack" exist in every free to play games and this "starter" pack only gives you 6" loyalty " and don't even offer you the premium currency for the game which is essential for progression like drawing rare legendary items from crate / unlocking forge slots ... etc however for $7 it does include 3 legendary items & 80k in game currency ( not premium currency ) which makes it okay, i'd rather fork out $40 for 5360 gold & 35 loyalty for the level 3 in game buff which i m sure would be enough of premium currency to gamble with the chance of obtain the more powerful equipment.& progress through to the end game ( 300 gold for drawing 3 best loot crate so that gold i could draw like 60 BEST crate full of legendary ultra rare items which make sure nothing stands in my path ) for a loot-driven third-person action shoot ’em up. Get better gear and you’ll be offered access to further stages, have to look at the end game ... don't fall for these "starter" thing............dont play or ready to pay a small amount of $ people are exaggerating things here in this forum ( talking shit like this game have multiply currency / timer / non stop ads ? lol etc ) this game only have two currency which is the gold ( premium currency for unlocking forge slot / essential progression needs and the ORE which is the in game currency for spending on minor needs ) and its understandable because i hate free to play games too, but this game is really well made and i love warhammer so i think $40 is acceptable for supporting it considering this game is gonna have multiplayer & the event mode !!!
Anybody know how to save your account and progress between devices? With an IAP game I would hope they have that feature baked in.
graphics are gorgeous but otherwise the game does not cut it for me. i got an iP6s+ and i cannot manage to make the 3d touch thing work properly. too bad ... i don't like the gameplay.
Please do NOT turn this thread into a freemium bitch fest. The IAP and free to play mechanics have already been discussed at length, which is fine, but when everyone starts piling on and talking about the downfall of the industry and the scourge of free to play and blah blah blah just make another thread in General Discussion if you MUST vent about this. This thread is for the topic of Warhammer: Freeblade and nothing else. Thanks.
