Can we please not? As one of the many people who have to scrap almost all newly awarded wargear because it sucks so hard it only has value as ore, the concept of having to confirm each and every one of those deletions makes my eyes bleed. More constructively, it'd be helpful if we could set a do-not-destroy flag on key wargear items, protecting them from inadvertent loss to Scrap Worst Items commands, manual scrapping or use in forging. I suggested it an age ago, but there's obviously far more urgent fixes to be made.
As someone that finds an average of 5 creates on each run, I am no stranger to your above concern. Your proposed alternative sounds like a fair compromise between the issue and the resolution Thank you for being so diplomatic, didn't realize I hit a nerve. Wouldn't want your eyes to bleed lmao!!! Besides, tapping scrap and then "yes" or "no" would be faster than holding it down on every one of them anyway, unless you like or prefer holding down the scrap button on each item, that's your thing. Speaking of which I equip nothing less than purple and only have two purple items equipped....so as one of the many people who have to scrap almost all newly awarded WarGear....I would still rather have a pop up box rather than not. I feel it would be most useful to have the scrap 'teeth' icon on the item list not just in the wargear and forge screens, but especially on the crates opening screen, directly after each run, before the score dialogue box. That way you get to juice useless items as soon as you see they are redundant, instead of having to navigate through 3 other screens first. And best of all the code and animations already exist in use elswhere.
Thanks for all the feedback, folks. As before, I'll comment in broad strokes. First and most importantly, we hope to have 1.4.1 on the App Store as soon as possible. This will fix an issue that's been seen with some of the loyalty quests and will allow me to reward people who have received an underlevelled Lightning Cannon with a more appropriate weapon. Regarding some of the other issues raised here recently... SCRAP CONFIRMATION - Some good points raised here - by default, we slow down the speed of the scrap process based on item quality (commons are very quick, legendaries take several seconds). But maybe we could do something like show a confirmation dialog if it's something appropriate to your level that's Epic/Legendary quality or above. We can have a think about this one! CHEATING - If you spot any scores that you believe are untoward, please PM me! Scores of 1,000,000+ are almost universally cheating and we have banned players who have submitted bogus scores. EVENT RESTART HANGS - If you're experiencing this issue, please PM me with your device, iOS version and as much information about how you're reproducing this and when exactly the game soft locks and we can try and investigate this. I appreciate there may be some duplication of information from what's been reported in other posts, but this will allow me to compare several different users and work out if there's any common ground.
Johnny, can we take this list of 1.4.1 items as tacit confirmation that the hotfix will not be addressing patrol loot balance? I hate to be so repetitive on the topic, but it's becoming increasingly clear that this issue is causing you additional work in multiple arenas (adding the reward system, updating scrap commands) as players deal with the breaking of the top-level loot cycle. It'd be worth having a Scrap Non-Rare Mission Loot button at the end of each mission, simply to sweep out unwanted white and green crates -- that cutoff would leave people manually scrapping blues, purples and the occasional orange, but for my part I'd rather evaluate those personally. If I might ask, without getting into usable details, what have you been able to learn about how people cheat? It'd be extremely interesting to know, for instance, whether these are exploits taking place during mission/event gameplay or some form of post-mission editing that allows the input of new scores. As for spotting cheating, I've got nothing. Blatant seven-figure cheating is easy to make, but anything remotely subtle blends into the volatility of Freeblade's inherent scoring system. That's why we'd like a look under its hood, because it's still not clear why one run scores twice what a superficially identical one does, let alone how a cheat run is scored.
Free Salvage Is anyone else finding that ever since the last update the first free salvage is ALWAYS 30,000 ore and the second one (after the video) is usually a boost of some sort. I think I've received 1 or 2 gen chests for the second free salvage, but definitely a lot more boosts than before.
I've been running these for a month now, and the rarity definitely feels adjusted against the player -- I used to pull a level-300 crate about weekly and the legendary crate once or twice a month, but these days it's just ribbons and ore, maybe the occasional green crate.
Daily quest What's the deal with today's daily quest? It says 60 kills for 10 gold. I get double that on most levels and it still reads 0/60. What am I missing?
Yes I'm getting this to, also my weekly quest is 500 kills for 150,000 but after many kills it's still reading 0/500.
It seems lots of the quests are broken. Plus my salvage just got stuck looping the 'launching' animation as a buttonless dead end, so had to quit the app once again. Upon restart, the salvage counts as used. 2nd time this has happened this week. To Johnny, you have my details from the last time we tried to identify the cause of the events crash. If you need any more specific info, just drop me a pm.
Okay, good news folks - 1.4.1 is now out. To be clear, this only contains fixes for some of the more pressing issues raised here on launch day; you should be able to progress loyalty quests and I can start handing out level-appropriate Lightning Cannons once the update has been installed. If you were affected by that, you should receive a PM from me shortly. Other issues such as patrol balancing will come in 1.5 as planned (part of that particular balancing change requires the new story chapter to be present... ).

iCloud saves should be working as expected. One thing I've found from personal experience is that sometimes on updating iOS version, some iCloud settings can be disabled. To anyone experiencing difficulties with iCloud saves, try double-checking the following on both devices: - That they're both signed into the same Game Center and iCloud accounts. - That Freeblade is cloud-enabled on both devices. To check this, go to your device Settings -> iCloud (on the left hand menu) -> Storage (on the right hand menu) -> Manage Storage -> Your iDevice -> Show all apps if you don't see Freeblade -> Enable Freeblade if it's disabled.
if you could add an option to pick which icloud save should be the master that might clear up some issues.
Is there a way to tell if the initial drop for the lightning guantlet is bugged? I don't mind running the quest until it drops, but I'm starting to wonder if somethings wrong.
For all those this may have happened to , simple fix. Installed the new version and as far as I can see all the bugs I noticed have been sorted. The problem was that Game centre did not connect and the events would not connect. Go to set up and sign out of Game centre and then sign up again and this will reconnect with the game. Thanks Johnny for the fast fix to 1.4v
I have iCloud save turned on for both iPhone and iPad, but it only seems to save progress from the iPhone - I can't seem to get the progress from my iPad to replace the iPhone cloud save.... have tried all sorts of combinations of turning off cloud save on one device at a time, both devices, etc and still the iPhone progress is the only version that gets recognized in the cloud.
I have a problem with GC, it's frezzing. So I'm stuck forever with loyalty quest "Get to top 5% in the event". May be all quests should get 1 week to accomplish and then change to oanother one?
