It's been an interesting afternoon, Johnny, with a lot to process -- first, a few points of general importance I should make for everyone here: First and foremost, the max-level Boost XP lockout for blessings appears to be in place and working perfectly -- I ran 10 patrols and never pulled a single Boost XP from video plays. On top of that, when I had a Boost Ore blessing from free salvage teams, watching two videos got me a Boost Loot...and a Boost Knight Power. While the health and damage aren't currently necessary in patrols, the possibility of playing patrols on a semi-regular basis without wearing down the repair bar is impressive. Second, I would give serious consideration to buying the Heavenly Lightning Pack in the first 24 hours, while it's on sale for 50 percent off. Beyond the obvious benefits, the livery and the emblem are each secret weapons in their own right. Throw in enough gold to buy two legendary weapons at will from salvage (or basically three, if you win the final coin flip on the last two crates once) plus a pile of Revives for nine bucks and it's hard to argue with. Just about the only annoyance I have is that since I'm already at 50 Loyalty, the additional eight doesn't do anything further...the game still needs either additional Loyalty tiers, or something ultra-valuable to spend the stuff on like currency. Oh, and the lightning cannon is nothing short of horrific -- for all intents and purposes, it's a seven-round carapace weapon on your right arm that simultaneously electrocutes everything in sight. Not only does it lets you do a mean Emperor Palpatine impression, but if they're all statted like the one I pulled, well... On the flip side of Fortification, I have to ask again that improving patrol loot be an immediate hotfix. It's one thing to have an oversight about it in Thunderstrike, but quite another to make a growing playerbase hitting max level wait another month for this problem to be taken care of. For me it's merely an annoyance because I made plenty of level-250 wargear at level 45 before the nerf hit, but there's an entire cohort of people who never had the opportunity and are wandering around with just the crap they can make right now, plus the occasional level-250 crate doled out by a quest or the new reward system (which is appreciated, but is frankly a Band-Aid on a bolter wound). Given that patrols and forging are pretty much the backup route to success in Freeblade beyond being in the fraction of the 1 percent who can consistently hit Legend in events, watching those players get festooned with level-364 legendaries while patrols still literally pay out scrap is frustrating in the extreme. Speaking of events, the daily event loot tables still need work to make them more egalitarian, particularly at Master and Exemplar -- 10 and 5 gold apiece is miserly, especially when the same ranks in a Tier V event pay 50 and 20 respectively -- but I'm starting to think the real problem with events is their entry parameters after people's two free plays. It's really hard to justify putting down 10 gold for a daily replay when you won't even make that back unless you hit Hero, which suggests that either the rewards should increase or the replay costs should fall. Perhaps 5 gold or even 50,000 ore would make the system a bit more forgiving so people could learn it...yes, it'd open events to more spammy play, but that could easily be rectified by capping each event at three paid replays per player. Five attempts at an event should be enough to let the front-runners keep their seats, assuming they're actually as good as they appear to be; if they aren't, I'm sure us amateurs would take up the slack. Also, given the number of commodity buckets we now deal with (loyalty, ore, gold, wargear, liveries, emblems, paint, five types of blessing, potentially even IAP packs themselves), the game could increasingly use a way to exchange them in some capacity -- not necessarily a trading system per se, but perhaps even a counter that took them at preordained rates. For instance, I have a few shades of paint plus a livery about which I barely care, not to mention nearly 50 million ore, several dozen pieces of high and midlevel wargear, plus about 250 Revives I'll never have cause to fully use. What if I could directly trade, say, 50 Revives and a million ore to another player for some anti-Chaos liveries to help finish out the set I'd been making exchanges to complete, or take the Revives and ore to an Adeptus Mechanicus ship orbiting Tarnis in exchange for a few older legendaries somebody got rid of the other day which I could use to forge? Last but not least, forge quests still need to be pared down. I got hit with one to make eight autocannons tonight, which was only marginally less depressing than making 10 helms last night. It's to the point where I can and probably have completed Green Tide in my sleep -- battle-cannon first Ork horde and melta Trukk, repeat; battle-cannon third Ork horde before it jumps from ledge, melta two Trukks and two Orks; melta three Trukks, battle-cannon fourth Ork horde and separate duo; battle-cannon fifth and sixth Ork hordes, melta two Trukks; melta two lone Orks on buildings, then Trukk advancing between them; battle-cannon seventh Ork horde and melta Trukk; melta final Mega Dread; repeat all of the above due to yet another $%&* zero-crate run. Please, in His name, cap forge quests at three items, which is more than enough for anyone to get the point -- because to my continuing amazement, they take a game about piloting a giant fighting robot to vaporize the enemies of mankind in a galactic struggle at the twilight of our species and make it BORING.
How do I make a complaint to PixelToys? I downloaded the new update and purchased the new value pack which was on offer that amongst other things would give me the new legendary Lightning Cannon. Instead I got a crappy 105 cannon which is completely useless as my weakest items are 350. I'm not happy to say the least after wasting my money, how can this be fixed?
same thing just happened to me, gone on their main web site and used contact. Good luck I will tell you what happens.
105 lightening canon Same thing happened to me - 105 lightening canon. Useless. The same occurred with the power fist. Was 84. I PM'd Johnny@pixeltoys on this forum and he solved my issue last time. I have PM'd him again this time. I recommend all who have experienced this to do the same. Send him you player id too. Hopefully this will be resolved.
Eloquently put! Couldn't agree more. It's the reason I am drifting away from the game. - I realised that there is no point doing patrols (too easy to be a challenge and the crate rewards don't add anything) - I have all medals on the missions and crate rewards again add nothing - Daily and weekly events are fine but I am never going to reach the top levels so are a 5 min distraction - Quests are the interesting point to gain gold for salvage and crates for forging. However, forging quests just cause me to dread trudging through Green Tide another 10 times...
Currently my loyalty quest is frozen. It's a simple "30 kills" but nothing I do seems to count towards it. Broken.
Hi folks - a couple of you have pointed out getting low level lightning cannon instead of one that's more appropriate to your level. We'll need to release a new version of the game to resolve this properly, but in the meantime - please PM me with your PlayerID (found on the options screen - it's the long alphanumeric character, e.g. abe39069efd19cba1948) and I can help get this to you as soon as we've released 1.4.1.
Also the lightning claw and lightning canon should be unlockable for forging with, say, 50 gold, and not eternally inaccessible without dropping real world cash. I've bought my share of IAPs but I don't think core functionality should be fenced off like this.

Another possible bug - i did not receive the reward from the last daily event (annoyed because i was Top 50!). When i launched freeblade i was prompted by the new daily reward, then notified of the daily event reward at the same time. I think i pressed continue and did not receive either of the rewards! [edit] and i am also having the issue with the '30 kills' quest not registering any kills
For what it's worth, I'm also seeing the bugged "30 kills" loyalty quest. There's no quest description, but when I hit the adjacent Campaign button it takes me to the objective selector for Face The Boss -- I beat the mission on both Campaign and Storm with three stars, but have no progress on the quest. Also tried standing there to shoot up several waves of Kaptains, Boyz, Blitza-Bommers and Buggies, but none of them seem to advance the kill counter either.
Just got the "30 kills" Myself. Probably everyone will get it with in the next week and bugger up the loyalty quest until 1.5v comes out.
I haven't managed to get one of these yet. And im also still getting "very low risk" patrols on all five of them. It's a bit discouraging.
I had to play through a few levels on my new phone and then attempt to sync up with my old phone. I'm afraid I can't be more specific.
Broken loyalty quests is great, because they were the only permenant way to grind free chunks of ore and gold for a little work. This game is fast losing any point. While I'm venting, I had a question for the devs: Is it possible, knowing the placements and availability of destructables/enemies on a given level/event, to calculate the earliest possible attainment of an 8x multiplier? Let's assume that multiplier is able to be maintained through gameplay tricks for the remainder of the level. Knowing the remaining destructables/enemies, and all possible massacre bonus, can you calculate a maximum possible score for any level or event? If not, why not? If so, all scores over this hard ceiling must be attained via methods external to the game, and ineligible for counting towards any leaderboards or reward tiers. When someone is shown as scoring over 1,000,000 it should not take a user pointing out the obvious cheating to have that score disqualified.
Great. Now any reward won from both of yesterday's events is not showing up in my stores. The dialogue for winnings came up, but the crate animation and sound ran in the background unprompted, and once the front dialogue box was tapped away, the winnings of ore and items had vanished without trace. If cheating can't be limited to allow some honest players a look at the top 50, I'd at least like to receive the winnings the game decides I deserve.
AND after a few merciful weeks without it, the event replay freeze and crash is back. Went to replay by Ad, only to be shown the blessings screen straight after, and then have the game freeze on the opening shot of the event. Next update, try fixing all the problems, glitches, freezes and crashes in the game before wasting time on shiny new toys.
