Yeah, I'm going to take my time with these new campaigns missions, until I max out to 45 so I don't get stuck on the 3 Star a mission Quest as mentioned a few posts up
Probably a stupid question - is the max you can forge an Epic? i.e. can you forge Legendary wargear? Starting to get to the point where I'm saving up for and equipping legendary items. However, it would be good to use duplicates to target specific types of wargear rather than rely on RNG. Note: I'm not pushing the top spots on the daily challenges so I can't target those wargear items.
Hello to everyone here! As Johnny is away at the moment (it's Christmas!), I'll introduce myself. I'm Marcus, another designer on Warhammer 40,000: Freeblade. Firstly, everyone at Pixel Toys has been working very hard on getting the new 1.2 content to you, and we hope you are enjoying the update! We're very happy with all of the feedback we've received since launching, and wish to continue making improvements and updates as we move forward with the game. To answer some of your questions - yes! There have been improvements to plenty of the effects and visuals throughout the game, alongside the new content and bug fixes. We hope you enjoy the new explosions and weapon effects as much as we do! As some people have mentioned in the thread already, we are aware of an issue with the required Medal scores for the new missions. We have pinpointed the cause, and are hoping to update the game with a fix as soon as possible. I'll post here as soon as the update is available, and we thank you for your patience in the meantime. It's possible! Legendary Wargear is our top tier of Wargear, so it won't be easy, but you are able to preview your chances of Forging a Legendary item based on what you've placed into the Forge prior to starting. There are also a number of other ways of getting a Legendary item, such as a rare chance in an Epic Supply Drop, Salvage Team, and Daily Events. I've seen a number of posts throughout this thread with some great tips in these areas!

1,000,000 for 3 medals!! There has to be some sort of score multiplier from events to get near that score.
Anyone L45 and max medals? (387 realistically, I assume...) If so, what're you forging / able to salvage?
I'm there. Looks like 246 epic for the forge. Salvage is 315 legendary, 270 epic. If there is a combo for legendary forging, I haven't ran across it yet.
Tah! Just bouncing off the arse end of L44. Wondering whether or not I'll do something daft with salvage once I hit 45 (and probably late at night). (Question is: what to do with all my luvverly wg then?! The eternal "spend or save" dilemma :hmm: )
Does anyone think they have the forge figured out since update? I'm on ch 8, can forge 200. I can forge a blue 200 easy, usually 4 g and 1 b. I cannot find a combo to forge a purple. anyone? I had 5 purple and it was going to make a 144 g.
I'm still attempting to make sense of the forge setup. But in general I've found that if i have an epic in the forge and its trying to make a blue(or green), i need to drop down the levels of the other ingredients. So put one epic into the forge, and then mix and match with the other pieces until it stays purple. Hope that helps.
So right now, this is what I'm getting: 1 purple 228, 1 blue 200 gives me a blue with a tiny chance of purple lev 205 Add a blue 215 gives me a blue (solid) 220 Remove that blue 215 and put in a blue 200 instead, gives me a purple(solid) lev 246
Read from page 25 on here and there's some ideas on how the forge works. At the moment though, you're very limited by the max level of the forge. As you've all mentioned. Quick note on legendary - it's 100% chance if you use 5 purple and 1 gold. But you have to a) have all the purples around the same level. B) have the gold item a few levels higher than the purples. C) make sure your not hitting the max level of the forge - otherwise it'll show some crap as blue result. From memory the max legendary I was able to forge was 199. Using something like 5 purples of level 140 and one 160 legendary items.
Holy crap. Took a run at legendary salvage today. Assuming it'd be the good ol' 300 gold for a legendary. NOT SO!!! Suddenly found I'd run out of gold. Looked up, 320 gold (!) to open the final crate! Either I've lucked out on a one-off with an unusual number of items, or else salvage has been rebalanced so's legendaries are now 620 gold. ####sticks. Edit: oh well, guess I'll just have to enjoy my epic legbraces @300g, LOL.
Well, at least that makes it easy to decide whether or not to drop cash on 1,050 gold. CLEARLY NOT Edit: unless I forgot to watch the video. *facepalm* I forgot to watch the video, and wasted 300 gold, didn't I? ####.
Anyone able to score above 100,000 on the new missions? I don't get how to get 10 times my score to get 1,000,000
