For armor items it is just a matter of luck. I have a 200B armor item better than any purple item I could find / craft so far. Generally speaking I still think that 225B crafted items can give better stats than 222 purple. I'm focusing on items with lot of strengh and toughness and if possible crit chance.
For weapons, max blue has much higher damage output. For armor, I'll go for purple as got additional attribute In my case, i go for purple melta cos of the 2% chance find items =_='
Hi everyone! I thought Id introduce myself - Im Johnny and I am the lead game designer for Warhammer 40,000: Freeblade. Ive been meaning to post here for a while, but we have been working pretty much non-stop on developing the next update to the game. First of all, thanks very much for all your comments and interest in the game! Theres a lot of tremendously useful feedback here that were looking at. This feedback helps us shape the game and we hope to address any concerns you might have in future updates. As stated above, development is still ongoing, which means we will continue to make tweaks and refinements to systems as we go. I cant guarantee Ill get round to responding to you all as quickly as I would like, but I will do my best! Also... yes, the story will continue! Id strongly recommend loading up on wargear now to get ahead when the next update lands, but suffice to say, youll have a reason to use your new gear! Look forwarding to contributing here!
Hello Johnny, and welcome to Toucharcade! Nice to see you dropping by. Thanks for giving an outlook on the future updates, looking forward to them.
This question is probably the one we get the most often; we definitely appreciate that there are a lot of Android fans eager to play the game. Well be announcing our plans for supporting other devices and platforms soon. Ill return here and relay said announcements when we make them!
Johnny if ur truly work for Pixeltoy can u please answer as to why everyone dosent get the same monsters in daily event? making it impossible to get top 100 some days and suuuuuuuuuuuuuper easy others. Proof? ye i made multiple accounts and get different monster all the time..
Special overkill mission I've also ran across this mission (once). I noticed it when i was farming some random missions for a quest, and it was in the middle of chapter 7's page. I have no idea how long it might have been sitting there. I attempted to play it, and the game crashed after about five seconds. Mission was no longer there when i loaded the game back up. Has anyone figured out how to get it to show up again?
Bugs and/or things I don't understand Few things to leave here for feedback. I'm playing on an iphone 6plus. Quests: On a fairly regular basis, the daily and weekly quests vanish if i quit the game for some reason without finishing them. The quests will no longer be available, and there will be just the countdown clock to the next quest availability instead. The loyalty quest will (sometimes) reset itself as well. This is particularly irritating if I have already spent some time making progress on it. As noted elsewhere, the forge x number of items quests are somewhat buggy. It looks to me (so far) that you have to not only go to the forge using the forge button next to the quest to start crafting, but you also have to use that button to go to the forge to collect the items. Using any other path to get to the forge has inconsistent results. Forging It would be nice if there was a somewhat more transparent system in place. Someone posted earlier that in order to create an epic item with a maxed forge, you need 3 rares below a certain level, one epic item, and a rare item of a specific level. However, just putting six epic items into the forge leaves you with a rare item of lower level than if you'd just gone with six rare items? It seems somewhat counter-intuitive(to me anyway. Ymmv).
Misread my lock screen notifications (glasses off) and briefly thought my rank in yesterday's event was "waster"
Thanks for the warm welcome! We're glad to hear that you're enjoying the game - we put a lot of time and effort into making something that we hoped would stand out, and it's good to see that =) There's a few queries here I might be able to help with. I notice these echo some of the more common questions that are appearing in this thread, so hopefully I'll answer a few of those too! Hi Tarry85 - the mode gives the same enemies to every player in Daily Event to ensure that the competition is a fair, balanced one for all participants. Weve not heard of cases where players have completely different enemy configurations and if this is the case, then this would warrant further investigation. Im going to send you a PM asking for details across your accounts so we can see what might be going on here and resolve any issues that may be present. The Special Overkill Mission is the level we showed off in the Apple Special Event that has been specially optimised for the iPhone 6s and 6s Plus; weve not included it on other hardware for this reason. This might explain why some of you are seeing the mission vanish again if you have cloud saves on an iPad, say. The mission unlocks when you get to Chapter 7 on an iPhone 6s or 6s Plus; if the mission has disappeared and youre on one of those two devices, wed suggest closing and reopening the game - the game should check to see if youre eligible to play the mission and should make it reappear on the map. Were aware of a few issues relating to quests and were sorry to hear that youve been affected by them. The good news is that the next update to the game should resolve these issues and allow quests to function as normal! Firstly, Id like to say thanks to yourself and everyone else who has been providing feedback for the forging system. Its been great to see a much, much larger sample size of players use this and given us a lot of useful data! In light of all this, we are considering improvements we can make to the forging and upgrading processes to address some of the points that have been raised throughout this thread. I dont have anything concrete to share at this point, but I wanted to let you know that this is something were looking into; naturally, Ill let you know when these changes are coming!
Hi Johnny, It is great to see reply from the developers. I was curious as to when/how the different packs are unlocked. Are they unlocked when a certain level/WG rating is reached? Or it based on medals etc. I can see the following packs listed as iAPs: Starter Warpbane Warpspite Tarnisian Hero
Fwiw: this unlocked for me on a 6+. No complaints, like! Can't object to a piece of legendary kit. But it clearly isn't only the esses.
Do you know which packs will unlock when you complete which chapter specifically? Starter Pack is Chapter 1 etc
O Lord. There's one reet early - I was offered my second £5 "bargain" within a week of buying the starter, iirc (have bought two £5 and one £2.29 blessings pack, total). I got offered a £8 one (Tarnisian blah? Three epics, iirc?) somewhere quite early (ch.4 or 5?! Complete guess), and the £13 two-legendaries-and-750 gold was definitely the final chapter.
Also worth comparing value pack offers with what you can get through salvage mission gold imo. (Guaranteed epic for 140 or guaranteed epic + guaranteed legendary for 300 - best use of gold I've seen so far) 2*legendaries + 750 gold = 4.5 legendaries + 2.5 epics @£13 Or you can buy 3.5 of each for £8, or *seven* of each for £15. Imo, the top end time limited IAPs really don't pay off.
I know the games have near nothing in common but this game for some reason scratches my Infinity Blade III itch nicely.
