Re: Special Mission Chapter 7 Yup, that was just for that quest. Got it done faster than I thought, even without finding that infantry swarm mission again. I think that was a Patrol, but still not sure. Re: Special Mission Chapter 7 Yesterday it suddenly popped up a few times, but I could not figure out what is triggering it. Didn't increase in level, and the only equipment change I did was outfitting the Orange Stubber for the quest. After 4-5 times, it stopped appearing again. I wonder if there are more of those; seems a bit odd that this would be the only one.
I understand what you mean. I dislike freemium mechanics. Had a few bad experiences with premium titles though lately so I'm trying a few good F2Ps.
I can understand why companies use this model. A successful premier game brings in crazy money. CoC has adverts on prime time tv!! I just think that quality of games is suffering in favour of a phycological flaw we all seem to have that means we need to upgrade, progress and get the gold coloured underpants!
Hehe, gold coloured underpants- nice analogy!! So I spent quite a bit of gold and HOURS grinding to get 25 patrol medals for chapter 7. Blasted through that and now I need 55 patrol medals for chapter 8!!!!! Still love the graphics though so I may stick with it a bit.
Short update: I've been mailing back and forth a bit with their Support. Friendly guys so far, but apparently swamped by incoming requests etc. So if you contact them, expect it to take a few days before they reply. I mailed them my Crashlogs so their developers have something to chew on And I asked if they can 1) increase the Forge limit, so it doesn't become useless once you hit level 39/40. 2) tone down Patrol difficulty a bit for level 30+ 3) explain how the Forge works exactly. Really hope to get something back on that, will save us a lot of trouble and work 4) explain the trigger conditions for that mysterious Chapter 7 Special Mission; and if there are more of those. Will keep you folks updated. Also, carefully optimistic news: They know about the Forge Quest bug already, and are working on fixing it. But no ETA yet.
AH! Was thinking the very same thing...bot ftw? Quick question: what is a "massacre bonus" I need 4 of em for a Loyality Bonus - is it mowing downs lots of orcs? is there a good (early/easy) mission to do this? Also what is it with the game crashing so often after watching a "free blessing" video? It hapens about 25%ish in all my games (iPad Air 1, latest iOS, 10 GB free HDD Space, only this app running)
@Prinny: Not 100% sure about how to trigger the Massacre bonus. But I didn't have any problems scoring them just by playing a few missions normally. I *think* those are triggered by killchains, i.e. kill a certain amount of enemies within a set period of time. So obviously missions with lots of enemies - preferably infantry - are best for this.
I've got the dreaded daily quest asking to forge 10 uncommon items... :/ I know a way to avoid it was explained it but I couldn't reproduce it. Could someone explain what needs to be done to avoid/skip a daily quest, step by step?
Errrr well I often can skip the loyalty quest by closing the app, killing it (on iPad Air double tap home key and swipe out app), then restart. Bit naughty really!! This usually has the effect of changing the quest but not if you've already done any of it. Otherwise use Ore to forge the items, come back just before it's ready, go to quest screen, hit FORGE button and complete the quest with a few gold (saves wasting tons if gold but still takes ages).
I don't know about Air 2 but us Air 1'ers have this problem- I just try to ignore it and hope I'm not frying my GPU. It's either the low RAM in the Air 1 (1gb is way too low for a high power device and I suspect recent OS updates may have filled up more of it), or not enough processing power, or something to do with the game going on and offline for adverts and patrol missions as these get laggy too. Only way to minimise them is a) don't get free blessings b) get 1 blessing occasionally, never two. My 2 cents...
Thanks....I usually either skip blessings (pressed for time) or am greedy (go for two) so this may be a reason (however stupid that is) @ 1GB Airpad.... I know right. I got burned twice with my "need naow" greedyness... getting a iPad 3rd right after release - half a year later behold iPad 4rd much better getting an iPad Air1 behold iPad Air2 has 2 GB Ram and 2 (3?) upgrades on the chipset *fistshake* ...and then no Airpad 3rd gen this year *angry fistshake*
If the game crashes on me it will give me a replacement quest, even if I have allready completed part of it. Seems to happen with the loyalty quest the most.
Ah well there's still been some amazing games that run really well I guess. Let's hope we get more PC ports like Transistor which runs on my Air 1 like it was made for it. I haven't notice anyone mention how Freeblade it runs on the Air 2 yet?
Air 2 runs smooth The air 2 runs smooth with no lag. Can play all the ads you want. I highly recommend picking up the air 2 for this game if you find a deal this Holiday season
Special mission Bah , how do I get this special mission? I've completed all 8 chapters and never seen it. There must be a triggering event....but what???
Weird. It wasn't too long after unlocking c7, think I went through the extra missions you get for each chapter from c1. I'll try and note what does it if it happens again. Groan.
Multiplayer Any inside info on the multiplayer coming out? I would love to see us in a clan fighting other clans. There is a game called Avatar fight where you have groups fight each other. Maybe you can have a co op mode and do patrols!
