Is that 654,000? What were you using to get that? Also, how did you get the screenshot? And what device are you using? There's no way the numbers come out that large on my device, nor do I see how in the world I could time it correctly to actually get a screenshot of the number before it disappears.
Yea 654K dam woot! You can achieve it through a lot of item and ability stacking. I'm using an app called Reflector on my Mac to record my iPhone screen through Airplay. Then I just pause the movie where the number is clear and screenshot it.
Just seen that doc, you really should report issues you find. I didn't even know of some of them. Anyway, I've gone through and marked all the ones I believed to be fixed or invalid.
Well im doing 2-1 and had to restart this mission 6 times now. Its stuck at "enemies moving..." It usually happens towards the end and im not sure how to solve it. Yes i updated it. Im assuming it happens because of too many enemies?
Wow.. After some missions on it (just bought not long ago after patch was released), I kind of agree with someone saying if one big reason for its performance demand is the latest unreal engine, I feel there may not be a need for such "latest engine" for its graphics. You don't play such tb tactical games via close up/ zoom in most of the time, sacrificing a wider map area for planning. I believe there are games that don't use latest engine but graphics is as good, off my mind implosion, xcom etc. Anyways, when latest iPad dev comes this yr, hopefully it will a lot more faster. And yes, this game is addictive. I lost track of time, and I must go to sleep now.
I'm not downloading the new version for a bit just incase!! When it hangs on enemy turn I've found it can usually be recovered- DONT QUIT THE MISSION!!! (On iPad Air 1)- -Press home key to quit game. -<Double click> home key to get current apps running (or swipe three fingers down screen). -Swipe Deathwatch out to kill app. -Restart Deathwatch by clicking home screen icon. Usually this will load the game and RESUME AT MOVE JUST BEFORE IT HUNG. If it is still stuck- DONT QUIT MISSION!! - swipe three fingers or <double tap> home key to get apps running up - swipe Deathwatch nearly out then in again a few times.this seems to break the hang. This usually nails it. I haven't lost any XP on any mission for a while now. Also suggest keeping wifi off and not having any other apps running. I play it by the hour.
stupidity of the day:killing myself with a frag at the end of a mission (without any pressure,i just wanted to try the new grenade..) and losing 15k XP
Card purchases disappeared. Any solutions mates? I just bought 2 two card packs (4 in total). Bought the first pack opened the screen to redeem my cards. Clicked on the first card and the game crashed. Restarted it and my purchase vanished. Bought a second card pack and the same thing happened. I'm afraid to purchase more. I see that there is a patch out. I've done a hard reset and forced quit the app. The cards are gone. I sent an email to Rodeo support. Did I lose my money? I'd love to support them with my dollars and get some new marines. Thanks
The patch would have prevented purchase vanishing. There were a bunch of other nasty issues fixed in the patch. Why not updating when there's a patch out? I'm sorry for your lost purchases. Maybe Rodeo can help you. But don't play the game anymore without updating. That's my suggestion.
Iphone 6. I will try sending savefile but as i understand it happens because of too many enemies. I used marines to block paths so maybe it messed up their respawns or something. I got it on 8th try by simply rushing everyone.
While optimizations are always possible (more on Epic end than Rodeo) personally I love they went for latest and nicest engine. It's future proof, supported, multiplatform and honestly it's downright GORGEOUS. No other TBS looks so great on my iPhone 6 nor my iPad Air (and among my favorites on PC too) with the sole exception of Banner Saga witch has a completely different style (XCOM doesn't even come close). While it's true you use birdview to see enemies etc, personally I use zoomed in and titled view a lot. And I always do before enemy turn (50% of the game) choosing a spot I think action will be...and the engine always delivers. I sit down and watch these short WH40K/Alien sequences (often I AirPlay on TV). Honestly is one of the many strong point of the game...it's one of the most tense and cinematic game I recently played (amazing for a TBS that doesn't even hves cutscenes). I obviously would prefer it wouldn't tear my battery apart like a Carnifex on a fresh marine but I wouldn't ever go back. As for loading I do not feel them any longer than Banner Saga or XCOM when it first was out. That said I obviously hope in optimizations too but I'm really glad they choose this route. Rodeo graphics and animation guys are GODS. I was fearing the transition to 3D but they proved me wrong big time.
OMG OMG OMG!!! I just found out that the game runs on the latest iOS 9 beta 5/public beta 3!!!! I can now transfer my save and continue experiencing this great game on my iPhone 6!! OMG!!!!! To celebrate this, I bought 10 packs. In the third I opened I found this. Not bad, not bad at all! Edit: adding pictures from the phone through TA app seems broken. It lets me select the image but then it's not in the post :/ I'll try again later...
I'm updating now. I hope Rodeo can help too. If not I just gave them a donation for then next expansion.
