Its intentional, as you get deeper into the missions more varied loot is given and there are some cross overs. For example Act 1 offers 4 bits of Tier 4 loot and 4 tier 3 for 4 missions, where as Act 9 has 7 Tier 4s and 13 Tier 3.
Yea, I also question their decisions. Aside from bugs and the intended multiplayer I'm not sure if any additional features will be added to the game aside from content already planned to be released. Normally a response that implies hope would be better than a simple "No" or "Too difficult". At least then we can expect to see it come up in future discussions or feel that the game is improving / changing based on the community's needs, instead of being how it should have on release. This is by no means an insult to the developers but it'd make sense if they considered how much better their game would be if these changes were included.

Its not in the immediate plans of production, we've got patch 1.1 which contains bug fixes, patch 1.2 for multiplayer and any fixes that remain and then patch 1.3 which contains other things. iCloud might be added later but at this time, its not in scope with the current plan
No, maybe I expressed myself wrong. Banner Saga and XCOM are other two great TBS that actually have iCloud sync (together with Warhammer Quest which is is from Rodeo).
Question for rodeo - there seems to be some items / marines not available at the moment. Where or when can we find master of relics and t4 bolt guns (not pistols/heavy). Don't appear to be available from missions or cards. Thanks

Sigh. The sight of all those tier 4 Space Wolves makes me cry and envious. It's ironic....during normal I found nice items, 5 champions and 1 tier 4. Since I started veteran (Act 8-4 now) I never found anything but tier 2 at most but 1 tier 4 item but more important all basic marines. I need a full Space Wolves team.

Has anyone found the master of relics or t4 bolters? I swear they're not in the game yet and I've gone through everything
Master of Relics is from cards packs, like all marines. There's a T4 bolter in A3M2, that's the only one you're getting from me
Ya! I personally think they are the best as a full squad in this game. Again, I really think it's just luck :/ You don't need tier 4s if you are just looking to beat Heroic.. I'm waiting to see what to expect from multiplayer and hope it's fun and challenging, then I can experiment with the other chapters as a full squad.

LOL. Never happened to me BUT...as I have in my house a big room with a many squares floor...I ofter thing about ranges and how far overwatch I would do when I cross it. Not to mention I often dream of the 'click clack' sound of the crab alien thing, the pyro 'roars' and when the dream is nice, the sound of the Melta gun charging.
I think that iCloud support should be prioritized in a game with IAPs. In a world with big games and iPhones/iPads with no expandable storage, uninstalling and later reinstalling isn't so rare and the idea to lose everything, from game progress to free and paid equipment/units is heavy limiting. As it is, the only way of retrieving past game data is by a backup restore, which means losing every new data in apps and progress made in any other game on the device, which is, I'm sorry to say, plain dumb. There should be a way to prevent data loss without losing data from every other app. Cross-device saves would be a nice thing, since many people would like the possibility of switching seamlessly from a device to the other, but that's just gravy; were talking about data preservation, we're talking about an easy mean to lock away our hard earned loot and game progress in case of an accidental wipe, data loss or just having the need of freeing up some space on the phone/pad. It should be more important than adding multiplayer or more content, since adding to the game with no backup options means adding to the potential content loss :/ This is something that should be prioritized in such a designed game.
@S3Styles: I did say "almost impossible": I have two Sanquinary Priests and five sanguinary guard so would like a T4 narthesium and a couple of those blood angels meltaguns. They can be gotten through packs, but is this realistic? Lets say there are 25 T4 items, and the odds of getting one in a pack is 1/20. To get a specific T4 item the average number of packs required are 20*25 = 500 packs...
