LOL at the buffs line...impressive. I have the same 'fire at everyone even if far away' glitch pretty often too, especially when using the flamethrower and the Fire All skill (can't remember the name now, not Black Rage, this one is the good one that fires only at enemies in range). My marines GET DAMAGED if they are at flamethrower range tough, even if the Marine is firing at a out of los enemy.
Looks like I can't play this any more - stuck in an endless sequence of crashing. iPad Mini 2, running latest version of iOS. Act 2, Mission 1, Veteran. About 4 turns in, start of the enemy turn (I don't get a chance to do anything to try to break the loop). The enemy moves a few times, then the app crashes and goes back to the iPad home page. Tried everything, including turning the iPad off/on, but no luck. Any suggestions, or do I just have to wait for the update?
Just got this- the game locks up on the enemies turn every time I load the app. 4th tutorial mission. Regretting buying this now...
Force quit Reload Pinch at the screen as if you were manipulating the camera during the loading and into the enemy turn. This should fix it. This is fixed in the patch, coming tomorrow/weekend/monday

No matter how many times I see my Marine killing a xeno with a reaction power fist animation, I fell in love everytime. May change with the patch with the patched chainsaw sound, which I resorted like others to do with my voice so far
Opened 20 packs last night: I got a tier 4 space wolves powerfist (nice but available from A9M2), a tier 3 stimpack (immediately sold) and everything else, including all marines was tier 1 or 2. Obviously all but the powerfist was sold. Now that is £20-worth of packs(they were free but required grinding). Is Rodeo Games seriously trying to say that that is worth £20?! I really hope future IAP will not be such a frustrating cash-grab EDIT: I've turned automatic app updates off until it's confirmed they haven't nerfed the RP grinding.
@RodeoMatthew Ultramarine skill Born Leader is incorrectly deducting AP points at the end of a player turn. If gained +1, it will -1 Max AP and also in the process -1 from AP not used. It can result in an overwatch that has no AP to spend during the enemy turn.
I would really not recommend this. The patch contains many fixes. The RP grinding has not been changed for this patch.
@jamesp agree re the cost/reward. I'd presumed paid cards were always higher return than rp ones but it doesn't seem to be the case unfortunately unless I'm wrong? Was there mention of a rebalance in the update anyone?
We're not changing any of the balancing in this patch. It's purely bug fixes. As I said before, its very unlikely we'll nerf or change anything. Unless we deem it to be truly broken.
Even though the RP farm method mentioned a day or so ago may have the devs grumbling a bit I highly doubt it'll be nerfed anytime soon, if at all. Even with the speed run I calculate that you can only grab 2 or 3 packs per hour, since you still have to go in and sell the excess loot. Plus after the first few runs its so mind achingly dull! This middle-aged geezer did a cost analysis and figured out this "work" is less than American minimum wage, thus my entertainment time is better spent doing sometime more fun. At least the XP grind method in Act 2.2 is somewhat entertaining
I'm more than happy with anything, I'm from a time when there was no level of interaction with devs. And between the rp grinds and xp losses haven't we all equally loved and lost? I just hope the great team at Rodeo manage to (eventually) make some money out of a great and fare game. Good stuff
If you were a Beta Tester or invited into the new beta, Patch 1.1 is now available through Hockeyapp. Please back up your release saves to itunes and download the patch over the top, we're not expecting anything to go wrong but just to be sure. Thanks,
