I want Dark Angels, but after hearing some of the comments of the other chapters, I am not sure they will be included.
No worries! RodeoMatthew posted many times previously to repeat that PvP does have balancing. Technically, you could be facing the guys with the most awesomely OP killteams out there and still have equal chances. At least, that's what it sounded like! He spoke the word and so it was.
I cant remember the specifics but my Long Fang Ancient said something about wanting to kill a Dark Angel. There are other comments about their dark and treacherous history. Maybe I am being presumptuous considering the overall popularity of the chapter would have many people calling for them to be included at some stage.
Tip to folks doing Mission 9.3, do not use Blood Rage when in LOS of the Void Bomb. I activated it on one of my marines because I had no other marines in LOS, he finished off the last big unit and then immediately shot the bomb, mission failed lost 25-30k XP. GG!
I have lost 50k on that mission alone and lock up bugs. Gave up trying. Haven't touched the game until patch because I got sick of wiping on that mission.
That's a shame, I have had the "Enemy Moving" bug occur once (before there was a workaround) so I lost that mission, but I haven't had a lock up as of yet. Bugs aside I am pretty happy with the game but your issue sounds pretty frustrating.
Just makes the point of farming xp useless. And I haven't beat that mission yet. Patch will hit and it will all be good!
I am not completely across your locking up issue, does it happen after a certain number of turns? There are still levels in Normal which I find good for farming XP, in fact I know somebody said that it is more efficient to farm XP in Veteran but I have yet to see this; sure the XP per kill is higher, but so is the time-to-kill.
Oooohhh! I thought you meant comments by players on these forums!!! Well... I disagree then! Dark Angels would make an awesome addition if the other Chapters keep bitching about their treacherous ways in the in-game chat!!!
I'd also love Salamanders (with Heavy Flamers)!!! Black Templars would be awesome (two-handed Power Sword for the win)!!!
Wish I hit the lottery, I would buy Rodeo games and hire another 91 employees for an even 100 to make it pump out a ton of content haha make it a Turn Based strategy MMO of sorts lol Love the damn game haha!
Or Imperial Fists! Just imagine that bold yellow punching through a bug... Actually, I'd happily pay $3-5 to unlock a new chapter of marines. This is definitely my favorite game this year so far. As stated earlier, the "Alien-esque" feel is perfect, and it really captures the 40k atmosphere. I just really hope Rodeo keeps moving forward on content to keep growing the game. I mean... chapters... psychers (want Librarian!)... other xenos... the possibilities are huge. Oh I do have one possible bug to report. When I equip my Sanguinary Guard with a tier 4 stimpack, it stays greyed out all mission. Even if I use a few of his AP so the new total wouldn't go above 8, it still stays greyed out. Some kind of conflict with the max AP rule?
Oh no, by the machine god. My game just crushed while I was grinding for XP. Currently on the "Burn the Bridge" mission, with my recently acquired Sanguinary Guard. So the game crushes every time on the first Tyranid's move. I have probably 20,000 to 40,000 XP banked for each of the marines. Help please, dear tech priests! @RodeoMatthew @HazeTI Also, the other two glitches I have encounter along the way. One is that when the marine has too many buffs, his active abilities could not be seen. The icons of "Retaliation" just would not disappear after one turn. The other is the "Black Rage" ability sometimes make the marine fire at everything even when the enemies are out of range. Except for flame weapons, the other guns seem to hit the targets. Hope that helps. And again, I love this game! You guys are amazing!
Loving this game, my GOTY as well even though I am advancing slowly... Finally got to the c***fex and I was frankly surprised how few XP I got for this brute. Is this standard in the warhammer universe? No wonder everyone grinds super early missions...
