The director camera literally moves around showing you where all units are spawning from, I can't see how your missing them. Any other kind of visual indicator would make the game far to easy, we might as well remove the fog of war! Your Accuracy is shown in the armoury, its in the bottom right corner.
Any fix for Rite of Ultramar 5% hp to all ultramarines per turn not stacking with more if the same item and also not stacking with passive skills 5% hp heal? Also issue with heroes that have 100%+ accuracy still missing sometime?
I'm guessing what Cisp wanted is a visual indicator of how many enemies are in the current marine's LOS. Similar to the alien heads in XCOM
Thanks for the reply but I think you misunderstood my suggestion. I know the director camera moves around on the enemy turn showing you the enemies movements but what I'm talking about is enemies apearing on the edges of the map as I move along in my turn. Since enemy aggression and movement is started by this most of the time It's often fatal if I miss an enemy far away that I triggered on my own turn by uncovering the fog of war. I'm not asking for knowledge outside of what is in the marines field of view, just a little help so I don't miss a discovered enemy. If you played XCOM I'm talking about the small red and yellow alien heads. I understand that these are design decisions so you don't have to much in the HUD and I know the accuracy is listed when you view the marines but since I currently run a squad of Ultramarines with a bonus to accuracy it would be nice to see the accumulated accuracy on the field.
which is true.I have had very bad experiences with game save backups in the past (if they don't use icloud) and therefore i did backups from important stuff"by hand"in the past.Unfortunately the most important tools for this purpose (ifunbox or similar file-explorer) are not working in that way anymore since iOS 8.3.That makes it even more important if not mandatory to include at least iCloud support.
Grinding shouldn't be necessary to defeat the game on Normal. Even if someone wanted to grind, I would say grinding on Normal is not efficient. The penalty for a Space Marine dying exists, but it's not overly punitive. Anything you've spent can't be lost so if your Space Marine was awesome before, he's still awesome now. I remember playing on XCom and having 3 members of my Alpha squad die in a disastrous rescue mission that I had to flee from. THAT was devastating. I'm really glad you're enjoying the game though
Unless you really need to upgrade your gear or marines I would hoard. There is a fix in the upcoming update that fixes the issue of some people getting all tier 1 from the card pack. Although that is very rare so you could just yolo
Your wrong the camera does move to a delay and you do miss some enemy's movest. I'm curious how I enter the armour from a mission do they just jump on a hover board back to base? and are our unit really that bad at depth/distance/math they can't work out a chance to hit %. ?
As others said, just looking for something that lets us more easily see what a given marine is seeing. It's very easy for enemy units to be obscured by terrain or just missed. If we had a better indicator that Lycian Andros has 3 aliens in view, could make weighing choices more streamlined and clear. Alternatively (even as an option), a color other than the lavender you guys went with for whatever reason would go a long way. That pale lavender is not particularly stand-out on many maps. Are you saying there are no in-mission modifiers to this base accuracy? If so, not ideal not having access to this information in-mission, but also not a big deal. My biggest wish for a UI improvement is just a way to cycle through the marines with unallocated AP.
I second that, now that I have a few space wolves with the AP buff chance, I sometimes miss that they gained AP while moving! I also miss the playtime counter from Warhammer Quest, seeing 40 hours or more meant something I really love the renewed tension in veteran on the early missions. I lost a dude in 2.1, the one I farmed a bit for XP in normal and thought I could play my eyes closed Playing with 4 wolves, but I'm not sure the +5% buff to all space wolves works? I also agree that you don't need to grind a lot to finish normal, but it helps ease your mind when you're nearing the 6k, 8k or 12k needed for an upgrade And having two gear slots really helps in the last chapters. I just lost my best marine with 23k XP that I hoarded for the third slot and it hurts a bit, oh well
Got a Lvl 3 Wolf Marine, Champion with only 3 traits. Every other lvl 3 Champion has 5 traits, if I'm not mistaken.
Totally agree, he's my best marine too, the only one I always take, fully developed too since today, level 17. I only have lvl 1 flamethrowers so he got my only tier IV bolt gun and he's a killing machine. Put him in the middle of the pack, activate a +50% crit seal and a +1 AP per kill seal, use his free fire and he chows through the Xenos like butter
Just took down a Carnifex with a power axe. I'm toying with the idea of doing playthroughs with same chapter only squads. Would like to start with a full frontal Space Wolves only squad. The more assault space marines, the better. This game has totally sealed my wallet....can't even bother to look what is out anymore....I can just play Deathwatch. I fear this will continue till the end of this year...possibly more if Rodeo publish an expansion. The xenos ability that stuns a marine in direct line of sight is mental btw.
I was just thinking something similar this morning. I've had $20 credit on my iTunes account since I bought Deathwatch, and have had zero desire to buy anything else. Every time I looked at what game(s) to buy next, I said to myself, "Why bother when all I want to play is Deathwatch anyway?" This game has had a sad effect on my backlog as well, the only other game I've played the past two weeks has been Hearthstone. Damn Rovio and their awesome games.
Poor Cards Hi All, I'm having great fun playing the game and dropped countless days on it already (grinding.) I'm having major difficulties completing the game on Normal level because i'm not finding any high teir loot or marines. I'm on the last level so used up all the "complete Act deathpack cards" as well as used requisition points to buy over 20 cards and currently i only have 4-5 Teir 2 marines. I have 2x Tier 2 melta guns for tactical marines and most of the rest of my weapons, charms and grenades are Tier 1s. Is anyone else experiencing a low or poor Teir drop rate from card packs bought through RPs only? Concerned i can't complete the game as a result of this, even though im grinding my Tier 2 marines as much as possible!
Not sure it's an issue. Enemies can dodge, I suppose, so having more than 100% accuracy doesn't mean sure hit. Just guessing, though. Maybe Matthew can shed some light on this matter
