I thought there was a hidden mechanic or something but maybe it's not even that. I haven't tested it with other grenades or tyranids but I really noticed it when I couldn't bring the warrior down.
Have you ever been able to play the game? Did it crash while you were playing? What was going on when it crashed? What device are you playing on? OS version?
The game was working great until Ireached chapter 6. Now I just can't seem to even get to the menu screen anymore. I had just finished a mission next time I went to play the game I could not. I am using the following - Ipad4 iOS 8.4 The crash consistently happens on the splash screen about 30 seconds after the Game Center notification has disappeared. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Ah! Good to know. So it's not 450 damage or nothing, they can do even (let's say) 100 damage? If so (makes sense) maybe the description should be like...50-450 as in the weapons, instead of plain 450. If I understood well.
Are there others on ipad4 Ios8.4 playing this game and face no issues? I intend to up my ios on ipad4 for this game..any shouters will be appreciated
I've been playing on 8.3 on all my devices. Haven't really experienced any major issues that a lot of others have had.
Oh that's good to know, maybe it needs to be made more clear what chance they have to miss or what it's based on. Couldn't ever tell it had missed or grazed until you actually mentioned it.
@RodeoMatthew: Thanks for pointing out that game-winning lineup. I was looking at creating my own tank and seem to be able to negate 100% of melee damage: traits: 30% reduce melee damage plus 15% damage mitigation wargear: 3x 20% damage mitigation from tier 3 impedance field (may be wrong name) Does this work or do they not stack like this? Also, loot: Has anyone got a tier 4 narthesium from a mission (assuming one exists)?
I was waiting for someone to ask this question, its only been 1200 posts! It works slightly different to that. It uses a piping system so stacking like that would never achieve 100% you'd end up with something like this; An enemy hits you for 100 damage, this is then taken through the pipe where everything is added in a chain effect, for example; Damage in 100 > (-10%) Damage in 90 > (-10%) Damage in 81 > (-15%) Damage received 69
I feel like the lose of all xp could be a potential game breaker for people who refuse to grind in games I'm not having any trouble myself with difficult, that said if I was/lost a lot of xp I would not grind and call this game a write-off as grinding is just boring (been there dont that map) and this game runs so slow it would take a year! That said I do love this game just can't believe such a great game can be restricted by such trivial things, better Dev planning maybe next time Ps this is a great game I'm just nit-picking now after a week with it and starting to pull my hairs out over the little things, I though they would have updated it to address these thing already with a hotfix
I'm half way through Veteran and really enjoying the game. But I'm finding myself missing enemies entering my line of sight and continuing my turn without noticing them at all. An on screen indication of how many enemies that's currently visible on the map would help a LOT in certain situations. Also an accuracy/chance to hit % would be really helpfull. Both of these features are present in many TBS-games such as XCOM and would make this game even better!
Damage reduction: so in my example above: start DMG -30% -15% -20% -20% -20% 200 140 119 95.2 76.16 60.928 = 69.5% damage reduction sounds pretty good, although best to mix it up with dodge if possible. A bit of healing and he'll be hard to kill, fingers-crossed!
Showing my apple-ignorance here: If my ipad breaks/is replaced and I have an itunes backup, will that backup restore this game and the save data as well?
Yes. As a matter of fact if it happens (or when you just want a new one) you restore the new one with your backup and everything will be as you remember (apps, calendar, contacts, positions, bookmarks, pictures,... everything). Just be sure to have a recent backup (usually I do one iCloud backup daily and if I'm going to buy a new iDevice, I just do a backup before going to the Apple Store).
