Matt said there was no lvl cap at all and gave his highest as an example. If you read through the thread you'll see a lot of your questions are asked and answered.
Found it! It was post #142 on page 15. There you go: So there is a cap, but it's above 100. Translation: my level 15 guys have LOTS of room for improvement!!!
I'm afraid the only other option you have here is wait for the patch to come in a few days. That should fix the problem and let you end the mission.
Its actually a 'stats' cap, higher tier marines reach it quicker than lower tiers because they have higher base stats. With enough time lower tiers can be 'as good' as higher tiers (except for abilities). Its about 200k XP I think. I'd have to check Multiplayer works a bit different to the single player campaign. Don't forget, I play this a lot.
RNG is RNG... And in an RNG system there is no balance, only probability. (Wall of text incoming, the story is relevant ) My friend I play Hearthstone with hates when I get packs from watching him, because the last 5 times straight I have drawn a legendary. He once bought a $50 card pack and drew two legendary cards, one a double. You may never draw the ultra, ever. Where I may open a pack that has two of them tomorrow. Expecting something from RNG is asking to be frustrated. I love this game, I believe it needs a crafting system or a direct purchase system alongside the pack system. RNG will eventually burn people out. Give them something to look forward to or grind for if they want something specific, make the cost ridiculous for specific things if you have to, but put a light at the end of the tunnel. Another option may be to be able to raise the tier of a marine you have grown attached to because you spent a lot of time on them, although in the lore, the whole "disposable heroes" concept makes sense. My opinion of course. People grinding for specifics is a concern, but if the price is high it will be a grind that people who love this type of game will find value in, and they aren't moving on to the next game. E
Question: Oath of angels (wargear - purity seal) 'Get 25% veit chance and 50% crit dam for every blood angel alive on the team' So is that all team members or only blood angels? Or is it all team members that gets the bonus *number of alive blood angels? (Probably not though...) And is it one turn or permanently? -normally states that more precisely for other gear
As far as I know: There is no "Chapter only" item that affects other chapters so a Blood Angel only item will only affect Blood Angels. It is for one of your turns only, the turn u activate it on. Buff ends as soon as u hit end turn:
Oh man I'm reading these replies and thinking of my T3 & T4 +crit% wargear (carnifex? lol) and wondering if I'll get that lucky with my RNG again. Vale squad. @ RodeoMatthew - The mechanics in this game are on par with the best of them. I know it's basically a build on Hunters, but five guys in an attic producing a more engaging experience than many AAA titles is astonishing. The only way to improve this game would be to make it sprite based (one can dream).
I've lost count of game hours. Here's the team though, with details on their wargear layouts! @ChaosProdigy Couldn't find a T4 devastator.
I finished the game in normal difficulty and wow the last two missions were breathtaking. I just played the first two missions in veteran and almost lost half my team of n00bs I wanted to level up because I didn't realize the hit points of basic enemy dudes shot up 3 or 4 times lol. It feels like a different game in veteran difficulty already. I really need to get higher tier space marines. Only got 2 Tier 3 for now and lots of tier 2. I intend to keep between 5 and 7 of each chapter to run special squads of space wolves etc. I discard the lower dudes or duplicates, and keep at max 2 assault, 2 devastators and 3 tacticals for each chapter. It felt weird at first to discard marines because I named them all, but they got to honor their chapter on the dole
Congratulations brother! How you managed to beat normal with T3 only squad is amazing. I had a Wolf Guard since, well, as a reward from the tutorial or first act pack.
Grats brother! Have fun with Vet and don't forget to update us on all the epic loot you find so we can share with the community!
Congratulations! Gotta admit, I'm a little jealous right now... Spent so much time grinding that I have yet to finish the actual storyline!!! Will be pulling double duty to catch up!
