Sounds great - but at least now people with nimble fingers can continue their games without loosing exp, untill the patch comes around. Btw im afraid its not uncommon, that the director camera frames badly, eg. showing only the alien and not the marine being shot at. So you cant see if its hit or mis etc. -im on iphone 6+ so its unfurtunately not simply a 4:3 aspect ratio issue. Its not a major issue, but if your looking at the director camera anyways.....
Should i wait for patch to use more pts? No iap so far Team- Assault 1 Blood Angel tier 4 1 Space Wolf tier 4 2 Space Wolf tier 3 Tactical 1 Ultramarine tier 4
Hey guys, Really hurting for another Medusa Plasma Gun. Let me know if you have one drop and where! Thanks gang
Oh man, now I get it, thanks. I never happened to see this, I replayed a lot of 1.2 where I simply position my marines and overwatch every turn and I,be never got this issue, even when new enemies spawned on a just killed one.
Just read through like 30 pages but not really seeing any discussions about leveling strategies. I am only in act 1, but was just wondering how people were using exp? So far I have only been using it to level them for Accuracy, as I figure anyone under 80% accuracy probably needs more, since missing = 0 damage. What kind of strategies are others using? I was thinking get to 80% accuracy, and then think about unlocking skills/traits/ability stuff?
@kennfusion Once you're happy with accuracy unlock a wargear slot then go after the traits/skills etc you prefer. Being able to take grenades or other buffs will make a difference. Edit: there's also the scaling cost to account for, when the price of accuracy gets above 2k for a wargear or 4k for a skill for example then +2% accuracy isn't worth as much as the new upgrade. Once the upgrades are unlocked you can go back to accuracy and health, there's no level cap so sky's the limit I guess?
For the ones interested, I'm trying to transfer my save from iPad to iPhone. I never do a physical backup (I use iCloud) but I was able to do this. 1) backup iPad via iTunes. 2) extraction of save directory via iExplorer (demo version) from iPad backup. 3) backup iPhone via iTunes. 4) now I can see the iPhone DW save directory but unfortunately I can overwrite it (with iExplorer). Anyone know a program that lets you overwrite a file/dir in the backup? If so, I would be able to restore the (modified) backup on iPhone with my desired saves.
Has anyone else had the issue of the game failing on start up. I constantly get booted every time the game tries to load up. Running on a ipad4 iOS 8.4
Isn't that just a matter of setting the right permissions on the backup files? Setting them to enable writing by every user could do the trick.
Apparently you can't. IExplorer doesn't let you, nor iFunbox that I can see. Did you manage to do it?
Keep in mind if your weapon fires 5 volleys then 80% means you hit with 4 and miss 1 - very unlikely that you don't hit at all. So to evaluate new weapons you can pretty much multiply damage by hit chance unless it is a one volley weapon where not hitting really hurts.
It doesn't mean 1 in 5 will hit it means each volley has a roll with 80% chance which isn't the same. Each volley can miss.
Each volley "can" and often each volley "does"!!! Nothing like trying do down a Carnifex with your last Overloaded Plasma Cannon shot and seeing the word "miss" slowly rise next to it! But his math is not wrong if you're looking to work an average!
This may be news to no one but me, but I just had a Tier III Plasma Cannon drop from a normal difficulty mission. Act: 2 Mission: 4 Weapon: Tier III Plasma Cannon (Triplex Alpha) Also, that google.doc loot table should get a sticky!!
Yeah, managed to get up to chapter 6 without a single issue now it can't seem to get past the initial splash screen. Tried rebooting the iPad and clearing the game from Memory neither of which worked
Yeah should have been more exact of course I am talking about averages. Point is with 5 volleys deviance from the mean is very rare. Also I was hesitant to equip my tier 4 weapon because I only had 60% accuracy until I realised it has 3 volleys making a total miss very unlikely.
