Thanks to all who are adding comments into our Google sheets for Tier IV loot tables. Unfortunately I can't view/resolve comments on my iPad so I will update when I get home tomorrow. THANK YOU TO ALL THOSE WHO ARE CONTRIBUTING and everyone else... You're welcome to participate and we appreciate your help. Honour your chapter!
If you have jailbroken device you can easily find loot tables (and open their uassets files with WordPad or another text editor) in \DeathwatchGame.app\cookeddata\deathwatchgame\content\campaign\loottables The only problem is there are no names of Levels/Items in loottables files. But you can guess that WT_T4_BA_InfernusPistol is Dante`s Flame (Tier 4 Infernus Pistol only for Blood Angels. BA means Blood Angels, SW - Star Wolves and UL - Ultramarines.) and "CutOff 4" where this pistol drops is "Watch Station Helius". Some Tier 4 misc items are describesd like WTP_RiteOfUncreasingService with no indication it is T4 in the name, but they are always located in the end of the file. I know it is not totally fair, but in result you will have exactly the same table, but much more faster.
Thank you very much for the insight! I do not however, have a jail broken device so looks like it'll be the hard way for me!
Does anyone have insights on the added damage per AP spent for plasma guns? And how about the Attack range of enemies?
Oh, I am accustomed that people with i-devices usually jailbreaks them =D Here archive with all loot tables: https://mega.co.nz/#!Z582zaAR!tOS-MvNbn-1Dbq4R5IOT3nsIzBtNI-qjRIpRRtSRmp0 https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1-PKU0B4Vrcrd2iYGTi5vVfEI6h2oTjaJiHyPh55yjgw/edit?usp=sharing - Quick and dirty table made from that files (maybe with some mistakes). Exclamation mark at the beginning of the item name means tier of that item is not specified in files, but, probably, it is T4.
Which mission are best for RP? I'm doing 2.1-2.2 for XP currently. & yeah it's most definitely not an exploit, you know how some people are haha. Rodeo said they're going to ajust it so I'll try and get the most out of it as possible. That's about 15 packs worth you got there, good luck getting some sweet tier 4!
For the "finishing the map in 2 mins" - how are you crossing the map in 2 mins? I can kill 'him' in one shot but then have to drag my team to the other side to finish. ....help a fellow marine out
Yeah I thought the mission you're talking about here was the mission they talked about first, but I found the one best suited for a 2 minutes finish I think. It's another one of the early missions and with a space marine with the right abilities (anything adding AP, being the ability giving 20% chance of adding 1 AP for each move or the seal that gives you one AP per kill), it's indeed possible to finish in one or two turns the mission, not even moving the other marines. Pretty sweet. And 2.1 and 2.2 are great for easy XP grinding. Once you got a good team, you could play almost indefinitely. I guess easy fixes would be to spawn more difficult enemies 10 turns after the prompt to go back to extraction point, and to limit the number of bonus AP you could get in one turn. Not sure it really needs a big fix though, this is part of the game, and finding the best strategy for grinding XP or RP isn't really an exploit imho. But a bit of fine tuning could be needed.
@vicsark Thanks, I had ideas at the time of playing that might be a fast map but couldn't and can't remember which one it is. I'll go through the early ones again, cheers.
Well it's technically possible because it happens in the tutorial but as far as I know there are no plans to alter the squad system. Kind of takes all of the fun out of it if you do this though, ruin the community Sharing and experience in one fell swoop. I might as well just post the loot table myself.
Signed up to report an issue on the second level in Act VII or VII, which requires you to clear a base containing a tyrant guard and a hive guard, and which follows a level where you run ahead of a wave of Tyranids to reach said base. Game caught hanging in enemy turn. Not fixed by any of hard close of game or soft or hard close of ipad. Deleting the app fixed the issue, but yeah, it also cleared out the 15+ hours sunk into the game to that point as well as IAP booty. I assume the crashes will be fixed in a patch but feeling extraordinarily let down by Rodeo right now. Not so much for the buggy game (these things happen, I get that) but because this should have been avoidable. How is cloud backup not enabled? Even backing up saves via iTunes would have avoided this. Both of those features were in WHQ. I've loved your work since Hunters 2 and had a great 100+ hours with WHQ... And DW was proving to be the best of the lot, until this epic WTF moment. EDIT: IAP also gone without a trace.
I was going to wait for a patch or two before buying, but impatience got the better of me and got the game yesterday. As somebody who played the crap out of H1 & H2, the answer to your question is, YES. That said, unless you have a device that has trouble running this (and based on your comments about 2 minute mission runs, seems doubtful ), H2 is redundant next to this in the same way H1 was redundant next to H2. Although, you might enjoy playing through the H2 campaign just to see how much of a resume for working for GW it was. For example, the aliens in that game, particularly in top down, but also in behavior and attack are nigh indistinguishable from the Hormagaunts, and the Hunters looked a lot like Space Marines, particularly in top down There is more gear variety in H2 than here, but a less developed rarity system, and outside of the shortish campaign, not a lot of varied content. I burned through collecting all the legendary weapons in H2 in about 2 weeks and, at that point, not much to do. If you're happy with this, other than for curiosity purpose, you might as well stick with this. It's the culmination of putting together everything they learned making H1 & H2 in a much better looking engine with the licensing to just go full WH40K instead of WH40Kesque.
Awesome! Maybe since there isn't much tier four on normal, we can share the tier three loot in normal? I have a couple things written down...some of the tier three is useful when you have new guys because of the accuracy. We could have the headers say heroic t4v veteran t4, normal t3
I added a "Normal Tier III" column, great Idea @RodeoMatt can Tier iv loot drop on normal difficulty?
The below are the items I'm missing or need more of (mostly missing) in no particular order. Any of you guys know which Chapter/Mission the following are lootable from? Tier 4 Plasma Cannon , The Doom of Behemoth (Ultramarine only) Tier 4 Bolter, Wrath of Damocles, Tier 4 Heavy Bolter, Xenos Slayer Tier 4 Missle Launcher, Lament of Heroes Tier 4 Granade, Concussion Granade Tier 4 Granade, Chrono Granade Tier 4 Purity Seal, Rite of Ultramar (Ultramarine only) Tier 4 Wargear, Impedence Field, Tier 3 Shield, Iron Halo (Ultramarine only) Tier 4 Stimpack, Stimpack Tier 4 Wargear, Auspex Tier 4 Wargear, Charmed Chrono Tier 3 Relic, First Company Relic Tier 4 Narthecium, Legendary Tier 4, Pwerfist, Frostskull's Strenght, (Space Wolf only) Tier 4 Bolter, Frostbite (Space Wolf only)
I'm on either 6-4 or 7-4 can't remember which had to kill a blood guy boss and then escape the tyranid ship and I get my team on the exit skulls and it won't go to the victory screen. Anyone else have this problem? Will the patch this week fix it?
Currently have 26 of 72 Tier IV items with their locations and difficulties listed at: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1jgBk8AWrrh52v9G0isQJiD0_EfllEXCtpEaYyFtHc3w/edit?usp=sharing I just finished doing some updates and I thank you all for your participation. I have opened editing up to the entire community so please share what you find, when you find it. Cheers! Lickzy
Alright, if you are frozen on "enemies moving", I actually managed to get the enemy to take their turn without waiting for the patch by doing the following: Force quit the app. restart. When the loading screen comes up ( after it shows the Rodeo logo, etc ) PUT your fingers on the screen and move them in and out as though you are trying to resize the camera view. Keep moving them back and forth and once the Enemy Turn screen pops up you will be re-sizing the screen before the app locks out your input during the enemy turn. It sounds completely bizarre, but somehow as long as the camera is resetting on the enemy turn, enemy actions still occur instead of hanging in a loop. In my case, I needed a Termangant to fire all four of his actions. Then everything proceeded as normal and I completed the mission with no Xp loss. This feels very situational and your mileage may vary, but it worked for me.
