Hey, just ran into a bug, actually, quite literally it seems. I was playing third chapter, first or second mission, when, as my last action, I boldly sent out a marine into a black tile, just to have him vanish completely. Nothing else happened, so next turn I sent another marine to check what happened and there was an enemy unit in the place where my other marine should be. I proceeded to complete the mission and while he never returned, he certainly was there to receive his xp. Not the most honorable behavior, if you ask me About the speed of the game, I guess it comes down to taste. I very much enjoy watching the movement and fighting, because I like to feel immersed in a game. But then, I guess I'm the minority, since I use my device as my only gaming station, and I only play when I have enough time to sit back and enjoy.
Awesome team! But what about that poor guy on the right? I hope the wolves are nice to him... I have a question about the quality of live patch - will it contain iCloud save?
Which map were you playing? Which mission? can you screenshot the location for me? Which marine was it? Sorry to give you the 21 questions but its all helpful information. Can you mail it to [email protected] Thanks.
He'll get dropped along with his 200,000 odd XP when I get another wolf to replace him. Its really just a small patch to fix some issues before the bigger, multiplayer patch.
I've got that wolf you have in the middle and a t3 wolf along with him, waiting to gear them up now though
No one ever said community management is easy job Nitpicking is fine way to show logical fallacies. Since im not really hostile i had to point it out because someone else could in future cling onto sentence like this and set some real flame. It sounded like game was made to extract money from annoying player with slow progress. On the other hand though if its true and first 30 pages are about issue like this it shows how game design was disconnected from expectations. Of course its their vision and their game, like it is our money and im just going to vote with wallet and not buy any inapp unless this is changed to my taste - because in current form im not enjoying product as much as i could. On top of that i regret buying game before checking forums first but i did that because i trusted rodeo games took good design philosphy about game usability from warhammer quest which i bought every inapp in and enjoyed it thoroughly for around 40+ hours. I hope its perfectly clear i understand it is in rodeo games rights to not give a squat about our wishlist and feelings but at the same time i strongly believe we are entitled to voting with wallet and even refunds if product doesnt meet expectations. I will refrain from Further commentary on this matter unless i get quoted again with sokeone strongly believing im wrong be ause i dont blindly agree with devs and always support them whatever they decide to include or not include in game. I dont want to dig into topic of project management and game design code architecture because this is hellish kind of job and every released large game is amazing achevement. However Its bad sign that such recognized studio with so much experience made midtake of not separating game visualization from logic and data layer which is perfectly expectable in every single turn based game. Regards.
The problem i see and a mistake we all do more often than we like is to point something out and we think it counts for everybody. But i said it more than one time, the pace of the game is fine to ME and others said the same.Although slightly more people DO want to have it all faster. But what now?You can't please everybody and therefore it's a tough descision for a developer. They can only lose if they don't make it a selectable option imo.
Apple's refund policy is supposed to be for applications that do not work as described. In fact technically all sales are final. I believe in voting with your wallet. But asking for a refund for a slower than expected pace (when videos clearly show the pacing quite accurately) is really pushing it. On topic: I like the game, but I'm already lost as to which marines can use what items, and I've only got 6 marines so far. I've forgotten most of the space marine lore so it's probably mostly me (Eldar player in tabletop 40k). Is there a visual indicator to tell me or is it really just a memorization thing?
I've always did like you said and in fact never had problems with facing. I just felt natural to touch on the area to cover and it always worked out right.
I think he was referring to me, since I used that word in my reply, but just because Darkwing referred to himself with said word
Stuck on the enemy turn Hello guys, first time posting on TouchArcade. I'm experiencing a bug where the enemy turn does not end, has it happened to anybody else? I have sent a description of the bug to [email protected], that's the right place to report bugs to the devs, right?
Unfortunately it has happened to a lot of people. I think that is the right email. Rodeo is working to correct it.
Well, to be honest, "So its okay to pay 200 dollars to buy power but its not okay to play twoce as fast and do two times more in actial game because of multiplayer balance that would be affected by grinding requisition?" Sounds a bit hostile to me, but whatever man. It's 30 pages of people giving their opinion on pacing. None ever plainly said it was an issue, a logical fallacy or a bug. It's a design choice and the developers had the courtesy of explaining why speeding animations up isn't so simple. Many players here are perfectly ok with the pacing; others aren't and are kindly asking if it could be done in a patch. You're the only one aggressively claiming it's a design flaw/issue with how the game is programmed. Just reporting a fact. You're the first admitting to sound quite rude (in your first post). Just be nicer to one of few developers that interact with the community and give explanations. Anyway, this is one of very few games where you can't buy your power. You buy packs but have the same chance of finding good stuff as you'll have buying packs with requisition points. Besides, in multiplayer gear stats are evened out (and who knows what else), to get some balance, so grinding for the best gear for multiplayer is useless to some extent.
RodeoMatthew has been here since day one answering peoples questions, taking in feedback, and supporting the community. Rodeo Games clearly DOES care about peoples opinions. However that doesn't mean they can or will implement everyone's suggestions. We should be applauding their effects and give them a little time to sort everything out.
Hi, That is the right email address, thanks for your report we'll see what we can do but this issue should be fixed in the up coming patch
I would like to add answering on the forum on Sunday evening to those having the endless enemy turn bug.
