Mine hung up on Act 2, episode 1. I was replaying it to gain experience for some big upgrades. I guess that backfired........ Now I have nothing....
I'm planning to buy this game however I think I'm going to wait it out until some of these bugs are cleaned up.
You beat normal difficulty or you finished the other 2 difficulties as well? Would be cool if there was more end game content like endless/survival. I cant wait for Multiplayer as well I spent 2 hours googling it and got iExplorer, refused to pay for the full version of it. My uploading it to Mediafire actually worked and Rodeo support got it ok. They didn't seem to have a way for us to get at the save game file at the moment and I assume that's mostly because they don't want us to use third party software to get at the save game file.
question how do i change my team? i am stuck with the ones which i started with and can't sell them. but i opened a pack of cards and just got a badass one that i want to put in my main team. how can i do this?
You first need to finish the prologue. Then, before each mission starts, you are taken to a screen with your 5 marines; under each of them you have an icon to change the load out and another icon to switch out the marine.
I know, iTunes works in a very convoluted way sometimes. I have crazy moments with it too, now and then...
You mean how it forces u to install it on same hard drive as operating system (in my case SSD) and i desperately wanted it in my giant HD drive E and how backing up to PC automatically backs up to my poor tiny SSD drive. Apple iTunes for Apple computer is much more user friendly, they like to fk with PC users. Hate iTunes myself...
Now i feel abit silly I finished the prologue and got a new marine that I wanted to put in my team before starting a new mission. So i just kept clicking and trying to change it but couldn't do it. Thanks for the answer! Now I can just continue playing it!
Why hasn't TA reviewed this game yet? It seems like, every once in a while, they deliberately don't review a big name game. I don't know why though.
I was getting a bit crazy too since I saw the pictures posted here but couldn't find the "squad view" when playing, just to find out that it only shows after Prologue
Actually, on MAC there's a small program called iPhone Backup Extractor that automatically looks for iTunes backups. You just select the backup, then select the app an it extracts all the content in a target folder. There's a directory inside which contains all the save files, turn by turn (about 3 kB each). There's also a Windows app by the same name, but it's not the same app and I didn't try it, but i'm sure it could also be easily done with iExplorer
@Rodeo Matthew Preparation skill takes all energy to next turn but my Ultramarine Devestator whi has the +1 max energy passive unlocked using Preparation at start of his then gets 8max energy next turn, shouldn't it be 5x2 =10? Not sure if this was answered before, but T4 weapon passives that are identical to hero passives stack right?
I've read that you can't have more than 8 AP in a turn, I was looking to cumulate charge and preparation in order to put some megablast with plasma in the following turn, but 8 AP is the max.
Firstly, is there a description of exactly what the skills are meant to do? For example I have a marine that gets +10% dodge for each melee kill. After 10 kills he is still getting hit in melee, so does 100% dodge not prevent you from ever being hit? I have another marine that has two skills: "+15% damage mitigation" and "reduce damage by 30%". Do these do the same thing apart from the percentage? If so, why are the descriptions different? Also, the skill that gives +2AP but prevents shooting: Is it meant to also prevent melee or is this a bug that will be fixed? Secondly, does anyone know what a Charmed chrono does? Thirdly, I have the following marines: 1x tier 4 assault 1x tier 3 assault 2x tier 3 tactical 8x tier 3 devastator lots of tier 2s Should I sell all of the tier 2s? Do you like using devastators? They seem to do the same damage-per-AP but lose a lot of flexibility. Lastly, I assume the stated damage for a weapon is the damage the entire volley does, not the damage of a single shot? Sorry for the long post
This is correct. You can't have more than 8 AP at any time. We put this is place because at one point I had 18 AP and it was a bit broken
@jamesp111 very very good questions I think a lot are looking for answers to and no doubt RodeoMatt can answer. Re the devastators, personally I love them so far. With a range of 9 for the default weapon type (forgot the type) they're a blessing for cover. The 2ap was a bit of a problem until I unlocked the skill that allows you to take your remaining ap over to the next round. So now if he has 4ap and needs to take someone out I'll roll the remaining 2 over so next round he's a kill machine who can still activate overwatch. I'd imagine the t3 and t4 devastators have skills and traits that give ap back. My t2 has a chance to get back 1ap for each kill.
I'd like to nominate A1m2 as a great farming map for Normal 15 minutes to finish Between 1k and 1.3k xp per marine Easy overkill map (see pic) Gives 10 req points - 6 for the map and 4 for the guaranteed plasma I've tried some of the other maps suggested and find them much longer, harder work or the rewards too useful e.g. I keep grenades so miss out on the 4 req points. What you guys think?
@AppWhore: Yes, the skill descriptions are really insufficient without knowing e.g. what 'dodge' does. I've been using A2M2 to farm: I complete the mission asap, then retreat to the top-left corner and just put everyone on overwatch whilst I play Star Realms. Did that this morning for 45 min and got 5.5k XP per marine. @RodeoMathew Is it possible for you to list the core skill mechanics here and explain their exact effect? It would be really appreciated.
Right, this problem must be with that mission in particular (as well as others). It's the one that got me with that bug last time round too and I've seen at least 3 other people mention the same bug on the exact same mission. It needs fixing, I for one haven't played it since the last time it happened to me as don't see any point in saving up for the cool stuff when you could lose the lot through no fault of your own at any time.
