NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!! We are surely talking about different issues, but iOS9.1 does fix at least 20 pages of people raging in the Apple forums, for the very first time Apple included the fix description in the extended patch notes. So sad to see some problems remains, notably problems that prevent Deathwatch mp to go live....I was really hoping for it soonish (as I'm sure you all were). Do you feel Apple can solve things just giving Rodeo inputs or a new OS version is required? Because unless something really major happened, they do not release patches THAT frequently
That's actually reassuring in a odd way. It means there is more pressure on Apple to come up with a solution fast.
I took a look at the PC version. Regarding the above, the good news is that the abilities of the EE marines are strong and reliable. Like, 25% chance triggers rather than 5% triggers. The marines compare well to higher-tier marines from base game chapters. I was pleasantly surprised - IMO the extra content is quite satisfactory. The bad news, regarding modding, is that it seems tools would need to be provided. All those damned uasset files ... Not necessarily tools from the devs, but somebody with more skill and time than me. And that's despite the fact that I'm incredible.
'Hay day' hasn't worked since iOS9 got released, I'm sure they're most unhappy because they basically printed money.
Question? Has anyone figured out what the charmed chrono does? Second question: Will the pc version be able to have multiplayer with the iOS Version in the future?
Oh yeah, I was going to say: When I was rooting around in the files on the PC version I found the "CharmedChrono" file. There's this weird alphanumeric string that
I'm curious about what the new marines have. Any chance you could take some screenshots of the tier 2s? Or at least copy some descriptions? <3
Yeah, what's with those Charmed Chronos. I'm holding on to three of them and I have no idea what they do or if they even do anything. Maybe that's the big announcement.
This big announcement: Also, for those of you who are interested, I just saw this was up on TB's YouTube and figured I'd share it here: https://youtu.be/Yqt6W46Oqrs
He was harsh but fair, everything we expected. He didn't say anything we didn't already know. I am glad he is still reviewing games though.
My feelings exactly, and that's what you want from a game reviewer (or at least what I want). Im glad he's still at it too, especially with all the things he's going through in his personal life.
which is funny, because players who have spent a few dollars on it, are "incredible" (as confirmed by RodeoMatthew) for showering the game with praise, while players who have purchased IAP (I personally have spent well over $100 on IAP (through my own choice)) have to defend themselves for criticizing the game. like ZorakZoran, I played and enjoyed Warhammer Quest, which was a big reason for purchasing this game. Needless to say, Deathwatch has done the opposite for whatever Rodeo's next game will be. And this is not to say I dont like certain aspects of Deathwatch. But the IAP is really something I have issue with. Deathwatch is a game with very few classes available, and yet I highly doubt very many players have collected all of them. In a premium game, why shouldn't players be able to collect all of the items and characters without putting in an obscene amount of time or money? If there were systems that say prevent repetitive classes coming up, or limiting them after a certain amount, or even just increasing the chances of high tier items after the player has completed all the difficulties in the game, then I wouldnt have such an issue with this. But at this current time, I think it would be safe to say, players would not be able to collect everything without shelling out over $100 dollars. And I personally, am not even close. We then find out that there was likely a bug where card pack content gave repetitive content, something Rodeo has not explained or made reparations over. All of this, in a game where there is no cloud save, or restore purchases option. How can you justify this IAP system in a game without a restore purchases function? And on top of all of this, this is a game that has not fixed a bug where players lose all of their points after completing a certain mission. EDITED for spelling :{ And yes, I like the game and it's still on my phone. I mean, if I delete it, I lose everything, right?
No,not at all.Because i see wat i got here (an awesome, almost console style quality game with a very long and great campaign for just 5 bucks) while other seem to prefer to complain about things they DON''T get.Why can some people not rest until they got every sjngle marine or item in this game? What's the point?I'm not a card battler so i don't care about this stuff.I also don't need to collect/play every single sword/character in a RPG.I just play and enjoy this game.I spent a few bucks on iAP here but only to support the devs. The discussion about the choosen IAP system aside...it's been discussed to death.Multiple times. All infos about this are easy to find because it comes up on every second page. For me this is pure gambling and people should know what they are doing. It's a slot machine. It's random.Maybe they could improve the random loot table, yes.BUT if you sink a huge amount of money into this you stIll MUST be prepaired to get just nothing worthwile out of it.It's frustrating yes,but i see the responsibility here more on the players side than on the developers side.I can imagine how that feels.Up to certain point you already spent so much money on the slot machine without getting something interesting that you NEED to spend more because you can't stop now without getting ANYTHING out of it.That's gambling. That just my opionion, you don't have to agree of course.
You know just for ten bucks you can get Xcom with far more deep gameplay, tons of content, sane inventory system and - this is the main feature of good premium title - smooth story progression without need to grind. Moreover just for 5 bucks (and es for free) you can get Warhammer Quest - the game where Rodeo made things right. I can't stop wandering how they dropped to this piece of Deathwatch.
