I have no idea :/ What content would you want? Not saying its going to happen but it's nice to see what kind of things people would want. I know! I can't wait to smash people in multiplayer!
As you are taking wish lists....I'll throw mine More sp content as in: New Acts, new missions, new maps, everything. Everything you can throw at us. That would be my personal priority even over new chapters, unless the way we earn them is changed (now it's too random and time consuming to acquire and level up marines...and no, for the haters, this has nothing to do with the iaps). Even better than all of the above....some sort of random mission of the day (Hunters 2 style, but with huge XP/RP/pack reward) which would be combine first and second. So one could look for new things and level up new marines playing 'new' stuff (maps would be the same of course, but combined with random enemies, spawn points and objectives could really solve the 'boring' grinding aspect of the game after one has completed everything). I know that thing plus multiplayer could have me playing Deathwatch forever. Goes without saying I would pay for the new things...like random missions or new Acts.
Chipping in I haven't played for months though still installed due to lack of cloud. Keep looking an update but no joy.
Yes I'm quoting myself, but with good reason. First off, after re-reading it, it doesn't even make any damn sense. I don't know what I was talking about. I got caught up in the "what about the iOS gamers" hype and lost my mind for a minute. I don't feel cheated or betrayed by a PC version of the game and it will most likely be a future purchase when I can play games on my PC. It's my stock graphics card, it sucks and will not work with almost every game I bought from steam before I discovered the problem. Anyone have any suggestions for a decent graphics card that won't cost me $200 to $300? I don't know much about them. Any way I will most definitely be buying future Rodeo games. They are some of the best games I've ever played. Sorry to Rodeo and anyone else who had to read that tripe. Here's to the success of the of the PC game and future RodeoGames games in general. Which ever platform they land on.
I like really want more missions, and I especially like Pitta's idea of the random missions to keep things interesting for those of who are left with limit things left to do. Speaking of doing something new... I've assembled my new party for my next playthrough!! I'm going to play 1-2 normal to 9-4 heroic (each map only once). As you can see in the picture below, I have a sanguinary guard with Xenos Crusher and Dante's Flame, Master of Relics with Doom of the Behemoth, and a Sternguard and two BA tactical champions with Firescreams. Should be fun! It's gonna be legen-wait for it-dary!
I'm trying to get some of the more valuable, rare pieces of equipment by playing through levels that are mentioned in the Deathwatch Loot spreadsheet (posted somewhere back in the forum). It says that you can get the Kranken Breath Flamer from A8.M2 as the Tier 4 drop. I have run through it over 40 times on Heroic and yet I have never got it. Every time I get the Tier 3 Melta weapon. Can anyone confirm if it's even possible to get there? Is the spreadsheet wrong?
hmmm, since you asked More Acts / Levels Maybe some type of endless mode that gets harder and harder till you have no choice to but to fail. (but you get to keep your XP at the end, this way you can keep playing longer and longer) Additional chapters. (Salamders/Black Templars/etc) Librarians / Chaplains - With special abilities Better way to collect equipment and marines. I think those of us that carried from the table-top have a nasty habit of collecting and it is only second nature for to want to have everything available. Just a thought but maybe a better/easier way to sell equipment/marines? How a lvl-1 Bolter sells for 4 Req the same as a lvl-3 plasma canon?
Lightning claws (maybe every two main hand attacks give you a free offhand attack?)! More apothecary utility and more interesting nartheciums for them. Better balance for missile launchers. Combi-bolters?!? More to come later after I get a hold of my codex hehe
So, Act 5 part 2 - Setting Sun, heroic level. Does anyone have any advice on getting past this one? Must have tried 10-20 times now, various combinations of marines and I'm not even getting close to surviving the tyranid attack... I think it's the sheer number of genestealers that does me.
Fight from the top right corner of the map. Line up all 5 marines in a row and overwatch the hell out of it.
Another campaign - I thought mission design one of the strongest features of "Deathwatch." A pseudo-campaign using random mission generation. Missions that aren't necessarily fair. An additional opposing race. I'm guessing that's a hope for a sequel. Smaller things ... the "missing" traits/abilities for the SW tactical champion. A little re-balancing for some gear, trying to make some of the little-used stuff more attractive. Multi-melta's, missile launchers and plasma grenades are the only ones that come to mind. (Though I've yet to try a multi-melta on Heroic.) It occurred to me the PC version might be moddable. I might try to get in some extra family time before release, just in case.
Unusually slow on an iPad 3, to the point it's unplayable. Averaging 1-2 frames a second? Trying to get a tap to register is a 3 minute exercise, even the static menus pre game are weirdly slow.
A better way to sell space marines and items, and code here, if you keep too much and don't sell spoils on the fly, the phone is burning in the hands after a few secs in inventory menu , UI Freezes, and crash sometimes, even the 6s is in trouble. Whatever you want next but this is the #1 thing to fix imo, selling items should not set the cpu to 100% + memory leak.
